At a glance
We offer you the unique spaces of our home. Your ears will need a moment to adjust to the silence surrounding this old, former German house, which remembers both World Wars and the sinking of the Titanic. The floor creaks, and we park our cars in the driveway thanks to years of Tetris practice. Besides, there's the smell of freshly baked challah, honey from my dad, and so many mountain trails that you could wander in a different direction every day. You can while away your time with a sauna, winter swimming, evenings by the fire, or just doing nothing.
Jagniątków is the highest district of Jelenia Góra, founded in the 17th century by Czech Protestants. They settled here, on the Silesian side of the Karkonosze Mountains, fleeing religious persecution. Weaving and later glass grinding were among the occupations here. Uranium was also mined here. Fortunately, they didn't find any, and now we can peacefully wander the forests, climb mountains, ski, or lounge in the garden. There are four of us: Patrycja, Sławek and our two elves Antonina and Teodor. We are old souls who love pre-war places, furniture and trees. We have great respect for the time and history that was written here without our participation. We will not tell you that we were looking for our place on earth, we will only say that this house chose us, and we fill it to the roof with our history, the smell of baked challah, flowers, love, laughter and good music. We will show you the best places to relax, hang a hammock among the old spruces and make coffee - we will make sure that you feel taken care of here.
