Didn’t you miss the village? A living, breathing custom of thought?
The Song of the Cranes is not an ordinary imitation of a homestead for tourists. Everything is real here: we work the land with our own hands, milk the sheep, draw water from a well. We celebrate Rasa, we sing contracts, we wind bands, we pour candles. We live as if in antiquity, only the necessities of life subtly merge with the conveniences of the present. Every item, every piece of fabric tells its own story. When you feel this, you can no longer love the village.
We are 40 km from Kaunas, on the outskirts of the small village of Viliūšiai, in the forests of Kazlų Rūda, next to the Novaraitis ornithological reserve. While drinking breakfast coffee, you will watch the winches fly over the homestead, and in the evening their shout will signal the end of the day. If you want to spend time with your family in a meaningful and memorable way, and return home with clean thoughts and a smile on your face, come and live in a real village for a few days. Clean air, peace, the whisper of the forest and the sounds of nature will be your only.

We are on-site, we give our guests space and intimacy, but we're always ready to help
I am the owner of a beautiful Lithuanian rural homestead for people who long for certainty, naturalness and wildlife. This magical place is located in the forests of Kazlų Rūda, located on an area of 5 hectares.
I love to share my knowledge, gathered through many years, about native culture, so I offer a big variety of educations like weaving, wax candle casting, making amulets, talismans and many more.
I believe that it is worth mentioning that I am a sauna master and love to share this experience with my guests. I am especially fond of herbs, therefore I tend to apply them wherever possible - sauna is no exception!
