Zagroda Magija Bieszczady

We will welcome you in one of twelve rooms, you can choose a double, triple, four or seven-bed room. On our farm you can choose from three huts: Modrzewiowa, Jodłowa and Spichlerz. Each cottage is a living history, they are original, completely transferred from the villages of Subcarpathia, here they received a second life, which creates a unique atmosphere of our Farm. The heart of the Farm is the over 100-year-old Modrzewiowa Cottage, built in Zagórze and moved to Orelec in 2004. Ten years later, we expanded it with a fireplace and dining room, where we meet at the slides. We have 6 guest rooms, a coffee corner, a kitchen, a buffet with a refrigerator and 2 fireplaces. In the Modrzewiowa cottage we serve breakfasts and dinners. Modrzewiowa can accommodate up to 25 people. The slightly smaller Chata Jodłowa came to Zagródka from Bzianka near Haczów in 2006 and will accommodate 16 people. The building was built in the early post-war years and is well-preserved. Initially, the cottage had 3 guest rooms and a shared kitchen with a dining room, where you can prepare meals, coffee, tea and sit by the fireplace. In 2015, it was extended with a large terrace overlooking the Farm and an additional room located directly above it. The Granary is a faithful copy of the Manor Granary from Ropczyce, which can currently be admired at the Folk Architecture Museum in Sanok. There are 2 family studios in the building: on the ground floor and on the floor with a mezzanine. Each of them has a separate entrance. The upper studio can accommodate 7 people, the lower - 4. There is also our beloved Wesoła Barn, which despite its old age (150 years!) Is a center of entertainment, learning and fun. It is here that workshops, meetings and feasts take place. In the cottage there is a country oven for baking bread and croissants, pottery wheels, a place for painting on glass and "twirling" flowers from tissue paper. Our huts are wooden and are very adult, so hear the squeaky floor, scratching bark beetles or the ash tree running on the roof - do not panic - they do not hurt anyone. As it is in the countryside, you can sometimes hear the neighbor's chickens, geese and cows, and in warm months, mosquitoes are activated.

Firstly: we feed well, secondly: regionally and whenever possible, also from local products, and thirdly: to your heart's content. None of us will leave hungry. Mrs. Irenka is the master chef in the farm kitchen, who adds a handful of heart and a ladle of experience to her dishes (she also prepares delicious liqueurs). Mrs. Jasia provides us with Wallachian cheese, and we have eggs from Mrs. Bożena's hens. What's more, we have our own herb garden, from which everyone can nibble greens for sandwiches. We also make our compotes (for dinners), jams and preserves (for breakfasts), dandelion, pine, mint and nettle syrups. We make Lemko homiłki (local cheese balls with mint). Sometimes we bake proziaki (Bieszczady rolls), Carpathian knysze, hreczanki... and many others that your taste buds will surely miss. MEALS The price of your stay includes a delicious breakfast, served in the form of a buffet between 8:00 and 10:00. It is also possible to buy dinner for PLN 40 per adult and PLN 30 for children up to 12 years old. We serve homemade and regional dishes. Delicious soup, hearty main course and dessert every day (unless there is a croissant baking workshop, everyone makes their own dessert). Please inform us about your willingness to buy meals at the stage of booking. No information means stay with breakfast. - When you decide on half board, you buy it for all persons covered by the reservation (children under 2 years old are not included in meals) and for all days of stay (the first dinner is on the day of arrival and the last one is the day before departure). Dinners are served between 17:00 and 18:00. In case of being late, the meal is left to be reheated in the kitchen. We are ready only for vegetarian diets and we also ask you to specify this when making a reservation :) In the Zagroda we have our treasury - Pieczara Węgrzyna, where we can enjoy home-made liqueurs and Carpathian wine.

We decided to promote the culture and tradition of Podkarpacie in our homestead. That is why we organize slide shows (sprinkled with Hungarian wine) about the history and nature of our Carpathian region - we especially invite those who visit our site for the first time. During the meeting, we talk about the region, local culture and recommend a place worth seeing. At summer (in July and August) evening bonfires, we not only bake sausages, but we invite you to visit a real Lemek, who plays on a thrombitus and tells stories from Bieszczady. In addition, we organize various workshops, to which we cordially invite you - you can learn how to bake delicious yeast croissants, paint on glass, try your hand at pottery or tissue paper - something new is waiting for you every day. We also offer you participation in interesting meetings and trips around the area with a friendly guide. We want your stay to be full of creative activities that relax, give you respite, and at the same time teach you, reaching for sources. Therefore, we will provide activities based on the culture, tradition and nature of our Carpathian region. Of course, you can go hiking - there are so many peaks here that you can hike to a different one every day. We recommend you a walk along the Żuków range and an obligatory trip to Połoniny. A little closer, you can go to the beavers adjacent to the farm and watch the beavers working in the water. For extreme experiences, we invite you to the Russian bath - we heat the sauna and jump into the ice hole during the breaks. Finally, we serve hot tea. Such a session is to stimulate the immune system, produce a lot of endorphins and burn up to 300 calories! After an intense day spent on the Bieszczady trails, you can rest by the fire, bake sausages or potatoes and spend time in good company under the roof of a revelers. Or in the wine cellar for liqueur tasting. You can also stretch out on the grass or in a hammock and catch up on naps in the fresh air.
