In our Bieszczady Mountains, it looks like that in the morning we usually go on trails. We admire the views from Wielka Rawka, soak in Solina, or discover the stories of forgotten Orthodox churches. The lazy version assumes a long breakfast and aging in a nearby meadow. After lunch, the bravest ones jump into the Russian banya, and the rest of them shuffle their feet in anticipation of the workshops. And we have plenty of them, because as much as we can, we promote activities based on the culture, tradition and nature of our region. We will tell you what is squeaking in the grass here and behind which tree the bear was last seen. In the evenings, we sit comfortably around the bonfire and listen to the Bieszczady stories told by our Lemko friend - an animal whisperer and a virtuoso of playing the trombit.
We will give you the Tears of the Beetle and Stone Heart of Stepmother to try, you will eat proziaks, Lemko homiłki and Carpathian knishes that your taste buds will miss. We will also give you rest, relaxation and a piece of our world that we want to save from oblivion. Come and enjoy one of the most beautiful pieces of the Carpathians.
We will welcome you in one of twelve rooms, you can choose a double, triple, four or seven-bed room. On our farm you can choose from three huts: Modrzewiowa, Jodłowa and Spichlerz. Each cottage is a living history, they are original, completely transferred from the villages of Subcarpathia, here they received a second life, which creates a unique atmosphere of our Farm.
The heart of the Farm is the over 100-year-old Modrzewiowa Cottage, built in Zagórze and moved to Orelec in 2004. Ten years later, we expanded it with a fireplace and dining room, where we meet at the slides. We have 6 guest rooms, a coffee corner, a kitchen, a buffet with a refrigerator and 2 fireplaces. In the Modrzewiowa cottage we serve breakfasts and dinners. Modrzewiowa can accommodate up to 25 people.
The slightly smaller Chata Jodłowa came to Zagródka from Bzianka near Haczów in 2006 and will accommodate 16 people. The building was built in the early post-war years and is well-preserved. Initially, the cottage had 3 guest rooms and a shared kitchen with a dining room, where you can prepare meals, coffee, tea and sit by the fireplace. In 2015, it was extended with a large terrace overlooking the Farm and an additional room located directly above it.
The Granary is a faithful copy of the Manor Granary from Ropczyce, which can currently be admired at the Folk Architecture Museum in Sanok. There are 2 family studios in the building: on the ground floor and on the floor with a mezzanine. Each of them has a separate entrance. The upper studio can accommodate 7 people, the lower - 4.
There is also our beloved Wesoła Barn, which despite its old age (150 years!) Is a center of entertainment, learning and fun. It is here that workshops, meetings and feasts take place. In the cottage there is a country oven for baking bread and croissants, pottery wheels, a place for painting on glass and "twirling" flowers from tissue paper.
Our huts are wooden and are very adult, so hear the squeaky floor, scratching bark beetles or the ash tree running on the roof - do not panic - they do not hurt anyone. As it is in the countryside, you can sometimes hear the neighbor's chickens, geese and cows, and in warm months, mosquitoes are activated.

Ms. Irenka is in charge of the farm kitchen, adding a handful of heart and a ladleful of experience to every dish. Ms. Jasia provides the Wallachian cheeses, and we source the eggs from Ms. Bożena's hens.
Dorian, the host, is responsible for making the liqueurs, while Maria is the host's specialty when it comes to preserves.
We also have our own herb garden, from which guests can freely pick fresh herbs for sandwiches. We make our own compotes for dinner, jams and preserves for breakfast, as well as syrups made from dandelion, pine, mint, and nettle. We also make Lemko homiłki—local cheese balls with mint. We sometimes bake proziaki, Carpathian knishes, hreczanki, and many other specialties that your taste buds will surely miss.
MEALS
A delicious buffet breakfast is included in the price of your stay, available from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Dinner is available for PLN 45 for adults and PLN 35 for children up to 12 years old. We serve homemade, regional dishes: a fragrant soup, a hearty main course, and dessert await you daily (and if you attend the croissant-making workshop, you can make your own dessert).

By choosing dinner, you reserve it for all guests staying (children under 2 years old are not included in the meals and do not receive a plate) and for all days of your stay—from the day of arrival to the day before departure.
Dinner is served between 5:00 and 6:00 PM. If you arrive late, you can reheat your meal in the kitchen.
We cater exclusively to vegetarian diets – so please specify this when booking.

At our farmstead, we want to promote the culture and traditions of the Podkarpacie region. That's why we organize slide shows about the history and nature of the Carpathians. We especially welcome those visiting us for the first time – during these meetings, we share stories about the region, local customs, and recommend places worth visiting.
In the summer, in July and August, we don't just roast sausages by the evening bonfires. We often host a native Łekmko who plays the trumpet, imitates wild animals, and tells stories from the Bieszczady Mountains.
We invite you to various workshops every day: from baking yeast croissants and glass painting to pottery and tissue paper making. Each day offers something different. We also offer meetings and tours with a friendly guide who knows the area intimately.
We want your stay to be filled with creative, relaxing activities rooted in the culture, tradition, and nature of our region.
Of course, you can also hit the mountain trails. We recommend a walk along the Żukowo range, the Kozieniec hiking trail, and a must-see trip to Połoniny. There are plenty of attractions near Zagroda: Solina, Polańczyk, swimming areas, wild beaches on the San River, Bieszczady Bicycle Trolleys, and the Bieszczady Active Tourism Center. Ski - a modern ski lodge. As a Zagroda guest, you can enjoy discounts on ski passes.
For those who enjoy more thrills, we offer a Russian banya: warm up the sauna, and during breaks, jump into an ice hole to warm up with a hot "tea." This session boosts the immune system, releases a wealth of endorphins, and can burn up to 300 calories.
After a busy day, you can relax by the fire, grill something, sit in the lounge, or visit the wine cellar for a liqueur tasting. And if you prefer peace and quiet, just lie down on the grass or in a hammock and catch up on some naps in the fresh air.

Be sure to bring your children along – at Zagroda, they can experience a true country holiday. We let them get dirty, run around the large meadow, swim in the natural pond, learn new things at workshops, lick their fingers clean of sugar, and get minor bruises. We know from experience that the little ones bond quickly, develop their creativity, disappear for days, and only return when they're hungry.
Except for Sundays, we organize activities every day after dinner – not just for children. Pottery, tissue paper crafting, glass painting, or baking in the country oven are a great opportunity to learn about vanishing crafts and try something new. The little ones especially enjoy days with yeast croissants, which they can enjoy before bed.
The area is friendly even for short legs – walks through the meadows and forest paths are easy, and older children can also handle the mountain trails. It's worth showing them the view from Bukowe Berdno or Połonina Wetlińska.
In the summer, we also recommend a trip to the Solina and San Rivers – they have marinas, boat, kayak, and pedalo rentals, and good food. The bison enclosure in Muczne and the nearby viewing platform are a major attraction for children.
In Berezka, there's a rural zoo where you can feed sheep, a donkey, rabbits, and goats, milk a mock cow, play rubber bouncy castles or tic-tac-toe. There's also a small ropes course and a pontoon slide.
For older children, there are plenty of attractions near Zagroda: Solina, Polańczyk, swimming areas, wild beaches on the San River, Bieszczady Bicycle Trolleys, and the Bieszczady Active Tourism Center. Ski - a modern ski resort. As a guest of Zagroda, you can enjoy discounts on ski passes. In summer, you can take advantage of Poland's longest zipline, go tubing, ride off-road scooters, or try your hand at the ropes course.
The glider airfield in Bezmiechowa Górna—about 15 minutes from us—is also a great place for a family outing, where you can watch gliders take off using gravity-assisted descent.
For both adults and children, we also recommend the open-air museum in Sanok and a walk through the Sine Wiry nature reserve—the trail is flat and, in places, even suitable for strollers.
