However, for our tent you do not have to take a canteen, a gas cylinder, a sleeping pad or a sleeping bag and pack your clothes in cubes into a 50-liter tourist backpack. Sticking herrings and burying your belongings is also out of the question. You arrive ready-made and it's also luxurious. Among the trees, on a hill in the center of Poland, we created glamping, i.e. a glamorous camping site. With comfortable beds like at home, a sofa, wooden floor, light and even a bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette. As if that wasn't enough, there is a real jacuzzi on the terrace, as well as bathrobes, towels and flip-flops. The neighborhood is also not very good, because on 5 hectares of meadows, hills, forest and pastures there are only horses, horses stretching to the horizon. And not just any ones - Gypsy Coby and American and British Mini Horses of the first premium.
We are in the Łódź Hills Landscape Park, just 20 minutes from the city.
Here, where the horse oasis begins, where horses have unique freedom and luxuries, where they live without a saddle, with the wind in their mane. They have their own paradise here, you have kilometers of walking trails, a view of the foals, peace and quiet and the prospect of an unforgettable holiday.
You and the horses will be on the large, undulating terrain of the Łódź Hills Park. We have 5 hectares of meadows, hills, pastures, forest and brilliant views, peace and a hotel for horses. Glamping is located in a grove opposite the paddocks where mares and foals graze, so this is the view you will have from your bed, from the sofa, from the jacuzzi, from the swing. The horses are fenced from the tent with white ropes that are slightly tensioned. In addition to ponies, mini horses and Gypsy Cobs, there are horse hotel caretakers, owners of their horses and us - the hosts.
The greatest compliment for us - the hosts - is your comfort, which is why the mattresses in the beds are exceptionally comfortable, and in the tents you will find fragrant towels, hypoallergenic bedding, and a canopy over the bed.
There are five tents - 4 large tents for up to 4 people and a smaller one (serving as an extra bed) for 2 people.
Large tents have:
- a comfortable double bed (180x200) with lots of pillows and a canopy,
- hypoallergenic bedding,
- fold-out sofa,
- comfortable pillows and blankets,
- fully equipped bathroom with shower, cosmetics,
- Egyptian cotton towels,
- fireplace available in tents: Glamp and Na Skarpie (additionally paid),
- kitchenette with fridge and kettle.
Terrace with:
- gas grill,
- jacuzzi, possibility of using the jacuzzi by children over 6 years of age, children over 6 years of age can only use it under the supervision of an adult,
- a swing for 2 people with pillows and a blanket,
- lounge set.
The smaller Bell tent is intended for two people, e.g. for friends. There are two comfortable beds and a cupboard. There is electricity in the tent, but no water/bathroom. You can use the camping bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet).
You don't need to take canned food, a gas stove, a canteen or pumpernickel. This is a grazing campsite, so there is a kitchenette in the tent. You can prepare sandwiches and coffee, put shopping in the fridge and wash the dishes, and prepare meals on the gas grill (on the terrace), which also has a cooking burner. The kitchenette does not have a stove or burners for fire safety reasons and the lack of adequate ventilation in the tent. However, the grill with a special gas burner functions perfectly as a stove, so you can use it as such or prepare delicious dishes from the grill in the classic way.
It's only 20 minutes from the center of Łódź, and it's completely idyllic and green. Welcome to the heart of the Łódź Hills Landscape Park, next to the stud farm. Horses are within sight, in the paddock, and deer and wild boars graze in our meadows almost every morning. The area is fenced, so you don't have to worry about them coming directly to the tent.
You have at your disposal huge areas of hills, meadows and forests, where no one lives except horses. So you can walk, spend time in the company of horses and ponies, and you can hardly leave the tent at all. There is a jacuzzi on the covered terrace, which you can use even in the rain, there is a large sofa perfect for reading books and naps, a large swing - bench, and a gas grill for evening feasts. The tents are located among the trees, so you can listen to the rustle of branches and the singing of birds while lying on a hammock suspended between the birches. In the evening, time for a bonfire overlooking the paddocks and stargazing.
In such a place, it would be a pity not to take advantage of the benefits of the area. It is worth going for a walk to the forest of the Łódź Hills Landscape Park. A 63 km long green marked tourist trail runs through the park, so there will be plenty of places to walk. You can also travel around the Park by bike. There are over 70 km of routes here:
- black bicycle trail 72.7 km of medium difficulty (https://www.traseo.pl/trasa/czarny-szlak-rowerowy-po-pkwl).
For longer bicycle or hiking trips, we recommend:
- right next to our glamping site there is the Struga Dobieszkowska Nature Reserve,
- it is also worth visiting the largest urban forest in Europe - Łagiewnicki Forest.
What’s there for children?
A camping trip is great fun for kids. You will be comfortable in such a great tent with a bed, bathroom and kitchen. You can pack up with your little one and spend the night glamping. The older kids will have their own Bell tent and it's quite an adventure. You can tell scary stories in the light of the flashlight, listen to the sounds of the night, and in the morning run towards the paddocks.
