No one liked it, some were even afraid to visit it. It survived two wars unchanged and continues to enchant time with its original, pre-war architecture - Warsaw's Praga. You won't find glass office buildings here, but courtyards covered in leaves, creaking gates and dozens of chapels cared for by residents. Scenes for "The Pianist" and "The Girls from Nowolipki" were filmed here, you can shop at the iconic bazaar here and admire the most interesting murals and graffiti in the entire city. Praga was ranked second in the ranking of the 10 coolest districts in European cities, and that's why we are here. In an old, over a hundred-year-old rubber goods factory, we created a refuge where time has stopped. We have preserved large windows, wooden floors and brick, in which the spirit of old Warsaw is enchanted. Drop by for a comfortable city break in the capital - discover Warsaw that no one knows.
LOFT 22 is an old-school hostel in Praga, located in a pre-war tenement house from 1918, where a factory of rubber products was located. We have saved the historic floors, original bricks and large windows - the spirit of pre-war Warsaw still lingers in these walls, even though over 100 years have passed.
We have prepared 8 apartments for you (all air-conditioned with bathrooms and access to wifi), which can accommodate from 2 to 4 people:
- The Chatka apartment can accommodate 4 people, has a lower ceiling, an original, dark floor and a view on all sides of the world. The bathroom has a floor-to-ceiling window from which you can see the 100-year-old townhouse complete with neon signs and garlands that illuminate the yard at night. The advantage of the apartment is a wooden tub, which stands next to the bed and is a beautiful decoration.
- Apartment LOFT 1415 can accommodate 2 people. The character is added by 2 large post-industrial shop windows through which light and an old piano enter. Inside there is also a bathtub, a large bed and a decorative fireplace.
- Apartment LOFT 1112 can accommodate 4 people. A very cozy and romantic apartment arranged for lovers. The biggest advantage of the apartment is the open bathroom with a cast-iron, white bathtub. The canopy over the bed and the antique goat standing next to it add character. From the apartment you have the best view of the neighboring clubs and the neon lights that shine all night long.
- The APART apartment is for 4 people, overlooking the courtyard with diamond chandeliers, a stylized Scandinavian-style bed and an industrial-style sofa bed.
- Apartament Jeleń is a cozy room for a couple in love.
Inside there is a double bed, a sofa where you can drink your morning coffee, a wardrobe, a brick wall and a view of the park and the courtyard.
- The King Arthur Apartment is an Instagram gem. It has a unique window display and a 100-year-old cast-iron bathtub with a retro faucet and a tiled stove, where you can light a candle for a romantic mood. There is a king bed by the bathtub. The apartment also has a bathroom with a retro shower.
- Apartment LOFT 234 - our newest treasure. The advantage of the studio is the G.WolkenHauer STETTIN pre-war piano and the original painting "Mona Lisa at the piano" (Jacek Rosłoń). 3 large windows and palatial interiors add character.
- LOFT 89 Apartment - our cosiest of apartments. The advantage is a suspended bed on ropes and a glazed bathroom,
In addition to the apartments, the hostel also has 3 rooms with shared bathrooms and a bar.
We invite you to our bar, every day from 7:00-22:00. We serve breakfast and original cuisine, drinks and regional beers. We are supplied with cheese by Lazur, and thanks to cooperation with the brewery from Gniezno, we have great craft beer.
For lunches and dinners, you can go to the city - Warsaw has a wide range of restaurants, cafes and pastry shops. Not far from us, you will eat in Italian Boska, and the closer you are to the Vistula River and the city center - the more culinary options there are. Go ahead and head to Hala Koszyki or Hala Gwardii for lunch or the Nocny Market for afternoon delicacies. In Warsaw, you will eat well both in top restaurants and food trucks, whose gastronomic offer is getting richer.
It is impossible to get bored in Warsaw - this city lives around the clock! You can spend mornings walking along the Vistula boulevards or visiting one of the four gardens in Łazienki Królewskie, afternoons at exhibitions, performances, concerts, and evenings at clubs and restaurants.
If you want a quiet rest, go to the Saski Garden or Skaryszewski Park, if you are interested in history, be sure to visit the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, the Warsaw Rising Museum, and the Fryderyk Chopin Museum. We suggest that it is worth visiting the Polish Vodka Museum, the Neon Museum and the National Art Gallery. In the summer months, one of the largest music festivals in Poland is organized in Warsaw - Orange Warsaw Festival, one of the largest and oldest jazz festivals in Europe - Jazz Jamboree Festival or Warsaw Electronic Festival. In September, it is worth visiting the Cross-Culture Festival in Warsaw, and at Easter, at the Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival. Also obligatory: a trip to the Palace of Culture, a photo with the Mermaid and a picnic under the Poniatowski Bridge (we also invite you to evening outdoor events there).
We encourage you to rent bikes and take a leisurely trip around Warsaw, discovering murals, flavors, smells and interesting places.
In Warsaw you will find many places and attractions suitable for children of all ages. You can feed the ducks in Łazienki Park, go to a children's theater play at the Little Audience Theater, experiment in the Copernicus Center or eat ice cream in the Old Town. The calendar of events dedicated to children is also extensive - it is worth checking what events are organized nearby. Not only little boys will like the huge locomotives or military vehicles at the Museum and Museum of the Polish Army Station. We encourage you to visit the Dollhouse Museum, the multimedia NBP Money Center, the Warsaw Uprising Museum (for slightly older children), the Museum for Children, the Evolution and Geological Museum.
Children of all ages will have a great time at Folwark Bródno, where there are farm animals (Basia cow, Matylda, Klementyna and Tycia goats, chickens, geese, ducks, rabbits), a botanical part with vegetables and an exhibition of agricultural machinery. The city also has playgrounds, trampoline parks, ice rinks and swimming pools. If your child likes to ride a bike - nothing could be easier. Use the self-service stations with children's Veturilko models.
For babies, we have a cradle with bedding and a teddy bear. We have a projector in the bar and in bad weather you can arrange a show with fairy tales.
