At a glance
Fifty years ago, our mother had a dream - to build a house unlike any other house around. She stamped her foot and put it on her own. At a time when the authorities allowed only boring and clichéd projects, she built a wooden hut with character. We have Siberian balls, shingle, two fireplaces and a lot of love that fills every corner. Perfect conditions for relaxation, rest and catching a breath from everyday challenges. Here, breakfasts fall into several time zones and last for half a day, and then we go to dessert, skipping lunch. For dinner we eat baked potatoes and we stare at the fiery fire for a long time.
Before the war, balloons and parachutes were produced in neighboring towns, hence the First Polish Polar Expedition started, and count August Potocki, who was called Pucie by everyone, General Charles de Gaulle and Pablo Picasso, was on holiday in the area. Our neighbor is the Biała Forest and the phenomenal Stawinoga Reserve, where you can see the most diverse (and the strangest) species of birds, including crows, corncrakes, hens, travelers, firehouses, waders, snipe and many, many more. Besides, take your bikes, grab an oar and have the most fun holiday here!

Hello, this is Kasia and Iza, we send you greetings from Masovia, more specifically from Gąsiorów, right next to one of the bends of the Narew. We forced our mother's house and we can invite you to its wooden thresholds, where rest is organized by itself. Both my sister and I professionally deal with tourism and travel, because Iza is a flight attendant and I am a tour leader. When we are overwhelmed by work, we want to take a break from the big city, or just stretch out on a deckchair and read reading, we come to the House on the Jar - come by too!
