Yurt - the traditional dwelling of Mongolian shepherds and nomads acts as an endless space.
A circle without beginning and end. In a yurt, you really live in a family "circle". There is not much space for privacy, but there is plenty of space for sharing, harmony and understanding.
This yurt came my way and enchanted me. And we have been working together for several good months. After the previous owner, we breathed new energy and life into her sails, put her in order, spruced it up, and also added a fence to give you more privacy.
Thanks to the circular shape and spacious interior of the yurt, you can move freely between the kitchen, relaxation zone, living room and bathroom. In the middle of it all, on a high pedestal directly under the starry sky, is a sanctuary of peace and sound sleep. Keep in mind, though, that these aren't the typical concrete walls you might be used to, and you won't be completely soundless. But in return, the yurt will offer you an atypical dimension of accommodation and an experience of proximity.
The ecological building made of natural materials is ingeniously designed to keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We found sheep wool and hemp insulation to be the most suitable for the Czech climate. Inside the yurt, you dream of the Mongolian steppes and the nomadic way of life, but as soon as you look outside, you will be struck by the Czech Republic in all its magnificence. The landscape of the Krkonoše National Park and the Adršpašské rocks beautifully contributes to overall relaxation and helps to look at everyday worries from a nice perspective.
BUT JUST SO YOU KNOW...
Here you will not be alone in the forest. We have neighbors here. There are two other buildings next to the yurt (not exactly small and at a fairly short distance), two more buildings are being built across the road. So definitely don't expect complete privacy when taking a sauna and it's worth packing a swimsuit with you to the hot tub ;) Of course, you need to take into account noise - in the Yurt you can hear everything from outside and vice versa - it's not a brick house.
ACCOMMODATION FOR 6 VACATIONERS
The most beautiful place to sleep is right under the stars. Generous space for 2 is located directly under the circular skylight, through which you can gaze at the stars in the arms of your partner. A premium futon bed made of horsehair and coconut fibers will probably inspire you so much that you will want to buy one for your home. The other two overnight guests can move the foam folding mattresses to any place in the yurt. And if there are even more of you, you can also relax on the folding futon sofa for two.
BATHROOM
Although we admire all things natural, we designed the bathroom in a very modern way. A luxurious glass shower, soft bathrobes and towels and a separate toilet are comfortable even when fully occupied by 6 people. More adventurous people can also try the outdoor shower, which is part of the wellness area. The cosmetics available to you are natural and easily biodegradable. This is the luxury Italian brand Osmé with Ecocert certification.
LIVING ROOM & TERRACE
We have prepared for you a pleasant sitting on a high-quality sofa by the cast-iron stove. Of course, we have prepared the wood, so you can flood it whenever you like. The whole house is decorated with indoor plants and moss decorations. It contributes to the overall calm that the yurt exudes. A corner with minimalist armchairs and a bookcase is also soothing.
If you wake up on a king bed under the roof of the yurt, you will have an unforgettable view of the blue sky. Such a view will fill you with optimism and a good mood. But we can make the morning even more beautiful and fill you with local goodies, pastries and fruit juice. Just say and we'll leave a breakfast basket on the patio in front of the door.
BREAKFAST BASKET
The eggs are homemade, so you can make a beautiful omelet or scrambled eggs with ham in them in the furnished kitchen. Sausages and vegetables come from a nearby organic farm, so there is no doubt about their taste and quality. Fresh baked goods and something good to drink are also a matter of course. You can make your own coffee and tea in the kitchen to your taste.
You can enjoy breakfast on deckchairs on the terrace, on a blanket in nature, or at the dining table with a beautiful view of the greenery.
BARBECUE
Try our special outdoor grill with different temperature zones. So you can prepare meat, vegetables, fish or baked potatoes at the same time. Do not bring meat to us. We will provide you with organic products from a local breeder, not only beef, but also venison. The menu is constantly changing so that a given piece of meat reaches your grill at the right time. Let us know and we'll make you an offer.
WE SORT
In the yurt you will find a bin for sorted waste. We ask you to use them so that our common ecological footprint is as small as possible. Thank you
We built our yurt in a place from where you can go in any direction and a beautiful trip awaits you. On the edge of the village of Bernartice, we are actually on the border of the Krkonoše National Park and the Adršpašské rocks.
WELLNESS ZONE
In order to wash away the fatigue from day trips every evening, we have a wonderful barrel-shaped Finnish sauna for you. Combine the sauna with ice water from the outdoor shower and your muscles will be reborn in the morning.
End your relaxation in the outdoor hot tub, where all the worries you didn't have time to get out of during the day will literally bubble out of you.
OUTDOOR CINEMA
You can make warm evenings special in a private summer cinema. Watch your favorite movie on the big screen from the comfortable deckchairs and don't forget to pour yourself a glass of good wine. If you prefer to treat yourself to a tankard of golden liquid rather than wine, then you will surely be pleased to hear that we have a microbrewery in Bernatice.
If the weather is not in your favor, there is no need to despair. You can also show the film indoors.
TRIPS
We will not list the beauties that you can discover in the Krkonoše National Park or in the Adršpašské skály. Hiking and cycling trails criss-cross the entire area around the yurt, so even if you come for a month, every day you will have the opportunity to discover a different forgotten corner.
If you're a passionate mushroom picker, you'll get lucky in our forests. So knives, baskets and Atlas mushrooms with you!
SKIING
There are 3 ski areas in our vicinity, which are also suitable for children and beginner skiers. You can also rent ski equipment in Petříkovice and Ski Park Bret. In both areas there is a ski school for children and the possibility of evening skiing.
Areál Žacléř - Prkenný důl is suitable not only for skiers and snowboarders, but also lovers of white trails.
What’s there for children?
Walks, nature, forests, waterfalls, ruins and not far from us a nature reserve with fallow deer. Smaller children will have fun.
And when the greenery starts to bore them, take them to the Mladá Buky area to Baldo's world. A large heated children's wading pool, a 3D maze with a water slide, swings, climbing frames with water slides, a trampoline field, a bungee trampoline, a water playground, air trampolines, a mini zoo with small Dutch goats, maxi "Man, don't be angry", summer tubing, a bobsleigh track, a water world with fountains, a giant caterpillar and lots and lots of other attractions.
For young cyclists who want to experience a bit of adrenaline, there is also a bike park and a trail park not far from the yurt.
