Catch this climate, catch this forest, catch this relaxation. We hope you have better reflexes than chess players and you will catch what our place is all about in no time. For a hint: in the summer, you go outside the gate to get berries, a 10-minute walk to the beach, and the same number to the Pasłęka River, the border of Warmia and Western Masuria, through forest paths. Long conversations are held in the hammock, on the porch, by the fire or by the fireplace, and great emotions are experienced by playing badminton, scrabble or boules. Children have green knees, wet clothes and black feet. Adults time for a book, baskets full of mushrooms and vitamin D abundance, like well-being. Dogs never ending walk.
Come to Pelnik if you want to catch a little breath, distance, naturalness, relaxation. Take crosswords, water rings, rubber boots and flip flops. The rest are in place. A refuge of peace, right next to the forest.
In a relaxation house between the lake and the river. We have all the components that create a phenomenal rest. A gate to the forest, a hammock, a covered porch and an extremely cozy living room for the rain. In spring, autumn and winter, when Masuria is the quietest and most charming, the fireplace is roaring, the kitchen has a kettle up to the elbows, and books are disappearing from the bookcases.
The house consists of a ground floor and a second floor. It is designed for a maximum of 8 people. Downstairs there is a living room with a kitchenette connected to a dining area and a bathroom with a shower. In the relaxation area, you can use our library or, in winter, sit on comfortable sofas and armchairs by the fireplace. In the evening you can organize a movie screening or listen to good music. The dining room opens onto a spacious, covered terrace with a large table and 8 fold-out chairs.
On the first floor, we have prepared 3 bedrooms that can freely accommodate 8 people. We have associated the bedroom numbers with the number of windows they have. So in bedroom 1 there is 1 double bed and a wardrobe with games and toys for children. In bedroom 2, you can sleep on 2 single beds, and hide your clothes in a dresser, which we have renovated ourselves. Bedroom 3 can become a family room because you will find 1 double bed and 2 single beds there. In this room, you can also unpack your belongings into the wardrobe. The house is year-round, heated thanks to an ecological heat pump, so you do not have to worry about setting the temperature.
The plot is fenced, so your dogs will have a safe space to chase.
You have to take care of the meals yourself. Cook a relay race, appoint a chef or dine in nearby restaurants. You can go to your local store to get the products, and some vegetables and fruits can be found in our garden. We have planted tomatoes, peppers, radishes, lettuce, chives, carrots, raspberries, blueberries for you, and behind the fence you will find wild blueberries and mushrooms.
In the kitchen you will find everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although the latter most often take place in the garden at the fire or on the grill (bring charcoal or briquettes with you). The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher, induction hob and oven. The equipment also includes a toaster, waffle maker, toaster, blender, food processor and mixer. We leave you a French press jug to brew your coffee. Dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots (including steam), pans and hand-made plates and bowls - all this for you to enjoy preparing and eating meals.
If you came to get bored, we organized the space so that you would have full comfort for it. You can lie on the hammocks, and since we have 3 of them next to each other, you don't have to argue about the place. Lying down you can talk, take a nap, read. If you want to move and play a match for everything or for a bottle of something cold - we provide you with a badminton set, rackets and boules. You can spend your days with gray games and long evenings playing board games, there's a whole cupboard of them! We also leave a yoga mat.
For those who want to cross the threshold of the garden - grab the handle of the gate to the forest and go along the paths to discover the best spots. The first things you encounter behind our fence in the season are blueberry carpets. There are so many of them that there is enough for everyone. You can also take the basket and go mushroom picking - trust us, there have been a lot of harvests. The paths will also take you to the beach in Pelnik and to the Pasłęka River. We are located between two larger cities - Olsztyn and Ostróda, which are also worth visiting.
Children have with us like in the books Astrid Lindgren. A bit like "The Adventures of Children from the Street Awanturników", a bit like "Ronja, the robber's daughter", very much like "Children of Bullerbyn". They have their errands, go barefoot, obtain wooden ammunition, dig coastal ditches and hide in hammocks. On their way they can meet squirrels, woodpeckers, lizards, frogs, crayfish, fireflies, and in the evening they can watch bats. At home and in the garden, toys, books and games (sand toys, balls) are waiting for them. In the summer season, everyone jumps up like kangaroos on a trampoline.
Follow the forest path to the playground and to the ice cream shop (5 minutes from us). There is also a soccer field nearby. Well, the main attraction is a well-adapted beach (10 minutes from us) with a playground, benches, a volleyball court and toilets (available during summer holidays). It is quite shallow to the pier, so the children have the whole area to themselves.
