Our neighborhood was hit in the head - first from the Teutonic Knights, who were walking with torches, then from the Swedes, who burned what the previous ones did not. Our barn remembers the Second World War, the power of Unitra, TV sets produced nearby, and chickens running around. It would be a pity that this story would end with the collapse of the People's Republic of Poland, state-owned farms and national economic plans. So we came up with an idea and wanted to implement it with a bang.
It was not a minimum plan. We shot a pool in the garden, a powerful lounge and a sauna. We have installed a climbing wall for the kids, and the slide by the stairs gives us a leading place in the ranking of ideas "hey, that has never been done in Poland before". We did not spare ourselves, we wanted to give you hotel comfort with a loft style in a quiet, modern village near Mława.
Look after the cottage, please, because it is the fanciest barn on this side of Mazovia and it would be good if it would stay in good health for a while. What do we wish you together with a good rest and long descents from the red slide.
We invite you to an ultra-comfortable log house with a garden and an outdoor swimming pool. We have prepared 3 bedrooms with air conditioning for you, which can comfortably accommodate 9 people (and if there are more of you, even 14). We rent the house in the warm months, from May to September.
On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with a bathroom, which can sleep 3-4 people (there is a double bed and a single bed with a pull-out, separate sleeping place for another person). We have placed two bedrooms on the first floor: a larger one for 3-6 people and a slightly smaller one for 3-4 people. The large bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. Additionally, the room has a fold-out sofa that can accommodate two people. An extra bed is possible in this bedroom. The second bedroom upstairs has a double bed and a single bed. An extra bed is also possible in the room. The upper bedrooms are connected to each other by a toilet with a washbasin. The bathroom (with large shower) is on the ground floor. This bathroom also has a Finnish sauna.
All rooms come with bed linen and towels. In addition, there is also a huge living room at your disposal
with a seating area connected to a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining table. Outside the house you will find a terrace, garden, heated swimming pool with counter-current and LED lighting.
We have a well-equipped kitchen (including an oven with a microwave function, dishwasher, coffee maker), which will allow all interested parties to cook together. You will prepare your favorite delicacies here, and for the youngest we have prepared their own set of eating utensils and a high chair. You can buy country eggs from your neighbors, and if you dream of a dinner in a restaurant, we recommend Parkowa Restaurant in Mława or a pizza at Pizzeria 105. For desserts (especially ice cream) we will send you to the Rosario confectionery in Mława.
Thanks to the cooperation with a friendly hostess, we also have the opportunity to cook your home lunches and prepare breakfast and dinner. They will be delivered straight to the table. Let me know if you would like this solution.
We will not beat around the bush - we are in the barn, but we have total grazing here. For those who seek blissful laziness, we put out deckchairs on the terrace, put up hammocks, heat the sauna, and the swimming pool has counter-currents and backlight - you can really spend the whole day changing only the sides and taking care of an equal tan. Sportsmen and leisure time activists will also find something for themselves, playing a game of pool, ping-pong or darts. The brave ones climb the climbing wall. Everything else can comfortably spread out in the living room and catch up on books and films.
If you want to go for a walk, we recommend a walk along the nearby dirt roads. All you have to do is leave the habitat to the right, and at the end of the village, at the fork, go left to the end of the road (the return path may be the same - the route is approx. 4-5 km), or at the end of the village you turn slightly right. A walk between the fields is full of cows, storks and maybe, if you look around, deer and hares. On the way, you can visit the dam on the Mławka river. It is worth visiting the nearby nature reserves: the Mławka Valley Nature Reserve 16.6 km (19 minutes by car), Dębowa Mountain with an educational trail 7.9 km (17 minutes), Baranie Góry Nature Reserve 8.2 km (8 minutes). We also recommend a walk around the Mława Lagoon. The Lagoon can be reached on foot or by bike or car (just over 6.2 km). If you are passionate cyclists, take a ride on these routes:
1. Turza Mała - Borowe - Zalew Mława - Mława - Plots of Łomskie - Lewiczyn -Turza Mała (route 22 km)
2. Turza Mała - Turza Wielka - Wola Kęczewska - Krępa - Turza Mała (route approx. 18 km)
Nearby, you can go to the reconstruction of the Battle of Mława, visit the Castle of the Dukes of Mazovia or the Castle in Nidzica. Fans of folklore will find themselves in the Museum of the Mazovian Countryside or the Museum of the Masovian Nobility.
What’s there for children?
We have a paradise here for children! First and probably the most important - we have a 5-meter long slide that takes the youngest from the mezzanine to the very bottom of the house. Outside, we have a covered playground with a large sandbox, climbing ropes and a swing. Brave older kids can climb under the supervision of adults on the climbing wall. We spend the heat on the river to which we have access. Under the supervision of an adult, kids can splash and get their feet wet in it. Besides, we have all the charms of the countryside here: pastures with grazing cows, ducks, chickens and roosters. And those storks!
In the village, less than a kilometer from us, there is a primary school with a playground, soccer field and a running track, which can be used when children are not in school. There is a smaller playground with a volleyball court at the fire station. It is also worth taking the kids' bikes, because the local paths are not frequented by cars.
In the event of a sudden boredom or rain, there is a children's corner with books and blocks in the mezzanine barn. And of course you can always play a ping-pong tournament.
