Hi, I'm Marcin. I know that greeting may not be fancy, but in the end we are in the Beskid Sądecki, and here in the mountains we like simplicity. Many years ago, for this simpler life, I quit Warsaw and started taking care of the PTTK Bacówka nad Wierchomla shelter (anyway, I remain in this farm '' position '' to this day). I am a GOPR rescuer, survival instructor. But I think most of all I am a huge lover of this piece of the Wierchomla region of the world.
Apparently, it is here that you can see the most beautiful mountain storms, fall asleep after a walk in the sun on a bench and read a book by a yurt fireplace, scratching a purring cat behind the ear.
Put your backpack on your shoulder, come to our Mongolian yurts (yes, come - you have to leave the car in the valley) and feel this state. JurtoStan. Because now it will be downhill. And it is with a view of the Tatra Mountains just around the corner.

The mountains have always been close to me, and living in them is a dream that I fulfilled in 2009 when I moved here from Warsaw. I've already bonded with the mountains for good. I am a GOPR rescuer, I run survival classes with children and adults. I teach how to move safely in the mountain area in all conditions. For all these years I have been running the Bacówka nad Wierchomla mountain shelter, which is an unusual place in a fairytale location. I fell in love with this Wierchomla mountain and now I know it like the back of my hand. That is why JurtoStan was created. To create a place close to the shepherd's hut, but even closer to nature. So that you could - like me every day - feel the uniqueness of this space. And it's happening: in the secluded circle of my Mongolian tents, forming a safe settlement in the wild forest, on the edge of a sunny glade with a view of Taty. The uniqueness of this place is different at each season of the year, and now - thanks to JurtoStan - more accessible.
