You will come across it while browsing the grain. It stands there like a scarecrow, but it does not cause panic, rather it arouses interest. What is this tattered cubicle among the golden ears of corn? In the Masurian field. In the middle of nowhere. The house grew among the grains and fit perfectly into the landscape. Probably because its shape is inspired by a cube of straw, that is, a hack. And you have plenty of straw with us. From the huge panoramic windows you can admire the bales scattered over hectares, even more fields, cows grinding the grass, groves, forests. Here you do not enter nature with shoes, you are rather a silent observer. Screaming frogs and arguing cranes are overheard, gray herons and springing grays are watched. Sometimes a deer peeks out from the grain, and black beetles, Mączniki Młynarki, come to the salon to visit. You don't have to be afraid of them, just put the delinquent on a piece of paper and take him out to the field.
This is how you live here. In spring, in rubber boots, in summer in a deckchair, in winter by the fireplace. He sleeps briefly, because he sleeps hard and effectively, rests on quality, not quantity. He spends his time on a bicycle, by the lake, with his head in the stars, binoculars to his eyes. Boredom, rural silence, nothing is happening. Perhaps that is why people live to an old age in good health here. Only peace can save us.

As a child, I wasn't thrilled to live in a colony. My dad kept saying that the thief would not come and the policeman would not get there, but I had to get to the school somehow. And so first, wearing galoshes, I walked for 2 kilometers in the mud, praying that I would not get poured from the top, at the bus stop I changed my shoes and continued on the bus. I always knew there was potential here, although when I was in college, when I thought that my 40-year-old parents were already very old, I wanted to take over the farm and build a country house in the place of a cottage. Eh, what a manor house it would be. My court imaginations, however, shattered with the first dose of dung thrown over. Later, life took me and my parents still lived here in Wronka. I studied construction, worked, practiced mountaineering, practiced judo and together with the kids we used to go on vacation to my grandparents in the countryside. Not long ago, when my mom needed to be taken care of, I came back here and started to get over it. Clearing, digging, tidying up. So it turned out that there is plenty of space for a long-dreamed house. On a hill, overlooking the fields, among the rustling of crops. It could not be otherwise, this is how the idea for the House in Grain was born. Friends of architects helped with the project, and children helped with the implementation, and I was in charge of it, as befits a civil engineer. Now I can invite you to our Masurian colony, where you can lie down among the cornfields and listen to the sounds of the village. This is definitely not the end, because every step new ideas are born in my head, I am constantly gaining something.
