In the middle of nowhere there was a house whose design was inspired by a cube of straw. Now farmers tend to bale the straw, making it take the form of rollers, but in the past the straw was tied in strings. Our House in Grain is just such a piece of furniture, only made of wood. It fits beautifully into the landscape of Masurian fields, rummages in the crops, and through large windows he admires how the colors of the surrounding meadows change with the seasons of the year. As neighbors, he has only 3 other houses, including one of our farms, a herd of cows, roe deer and elks. So you can count on soothing views, benevolent silence interspersed with mooing, cranes 'shouting and frogs' squawk from a nearby pond. Access to the cottage is combined. Through the forest, where you have to watch out for moose that take a swamp bath in the forest. Then you can take the asphalt road to my home, about 200 meters from the house, where you can park your car and use an elegant wheelbarrow to take your luggage to the house, you can also drive up the dirt road to the house itself. You will go inside through the three steps of the terrace. The house is designed for a maximum of 6 people, although four people will be most comfortable here. Downstairs there is a lounge with a fireplace and large panoramic windows, a well-equipped kitchen with an island and a luxurious bathroom with bathtub and shower. The ground floor area is 35m2 in total. You can sleep on the mezzanine (approx. 18 m2). There are 4 beds; - two single rooms 90 cm, - one double room 120 cm, - one double room 140 cm. We are right in the middle of the field. It is inevitably connected with the visits of field guests, for example small black beetles (basically only during the ripening of the grain). This is the Meadow Młynarek. It is harmless, and they are not interested in you or your food. If he bursts in, please slip the gentlemen on a piece of paper and leave them outside the door. As it happens in the countryside, in the summer, field work takes place, so sometimes a tractor, combine harvester or other equipment will pass, it can be muddy in spring and autumn, so please, rain boots. The windows are large, so before a trip to the lake, we recommend closing the curtains, especially on a sunny day, so that the house does not turn into a terrarium. There is also air conditioning in the cottage, which is used for heating in winter. The air conditioning remote control works on two devices in the house, but sometimes you have to intentionally aim at them so that the technology understands who's in charge! As for the dogs, of course, we invite you with your pets. However, you must know that cows are grazing nearby, deer heads often lean out of grain, hares are hopping in the meadow nearby, and the area around the house is not fenced. So take into account whether such company will not be stressful (or tempting) for your four-legged relatives.

Before you arrive, make a plan of what you would like to eat, stop by the shop for shopping on the way, then have a full fridge and your minds off your mind. You can buy eggs on the spot, in the village, from the farmer. The kitchen, for the size of the house, is large and really well-equipped. Here you will find everything you need for baking, baking, brewing and cooking. Meals can be eaten on the island or on the terrace. If there is a revolt on board and there are not enough hands to stir the pot, go to nearby restaurants. I have not yet prepared a safe fireplace or a place for a barbecue. If you want to organize a bonfire - I invite you to our habitat - it is in sight and a few steps away. However, we are very sensitive to the flammability of straw - especially in summer.

I wholeheartedly recommend taking it easy. Put a carefully prepared list of attractions between the books and make a bookmark from it, open up to the unexpected and focus on the quality of the moments experienced. We will take care of the quality of sleep. Everyone who comes here is honestly surprised that he wakes up at 6:00 - 7:00 am without an alarm clock, and is refreshed, ready for the new day. But that's how it is. Strengths recover surprisingly quickly, sleep is deep and qualitative, and in the time saved, you can, for example, go out on the terrace and read a book. Take a few of them, because instead of constantly getting distracted by the phone, you will have room to catch up on pages. You can count the clouds, listen to what the cows are moaning about in the pasture, soak up the smell of grain and fields. You can stretch your legs while walking (to the forest, approx. 600 m), watch the animals with binoculars - deer walk in the fields, or elk marches (you have to watch out for them on the road, because they like to march across the road). In the evening it is known, fireplace, grill, and for those who enjoy baking, there is a well-equipped kitchen with an oven. Although we do not have a shoreline under our breaths, the closest, and our favorite, Lake Okrągłe is only a kilometer (in a straight line) from the house. You can walk to it in 20 minutes through the fields, can be reached by bike. By car, it will take you 5 minutes. Round is a favorite because you can have an exclusive beach (maybe except for weekends in the summer season). In 6 minutes by car you will reach the port in Wilkasy, at Lake Niegocin, and from there you can start a sailing trip. There is Lake Tajty in Wilkasy Zalesie, 8 minutes away by car. Besides, expect the unexpected. Watch out for cow patties while walking in the meadows, nibble on a blueberry in the forest, go blue and go back with full hood of mushrooms, bury yourself under a blanket, light a fireplace and wave a scrabble round. Be ready for peace, regeneration, allow yourself to be bored.
