You hear a hut, you probably think - a few branches arranged in the shape of a cone, scout camps, shepherds' shelter in the mountains. And we said nothing could be further from the truth. I think it's time to change the definition of this word, because in Masovia, a hut is a charming bedroom in the garden with a comfortable bed, a lamp on the bedside table, and its own terrace. We have five such independent huts, each with its own piece of wooden floor, in a large garden and orchard. It's only a few steps to take a shower in flip-flops, and for tea you can visit the shared kitchen in the barn, which we dismantled and reassembled ourselves. Such is life at glamping. In the morning there is a breakfast basket for everyone, bedding is drying on lines, chickens are clucking in the hen house, early birds are already returning with an armful of mushrooms from the forest, others are sleeping off the night conversations.
Spring has the scent of jasmine, lily of the valley, lilac, summer smells of harvest, strawberries and ripe mirabelle berries, and the sound of crickets. In autumn and winter, we catch our breath, implement new ideas and prepare for the new season. We operate from May to October, which is when sleeping in a hut is the most pleasant. We invite you to our Siedlisko. A place that we loved from the first moment and for which we turned our lives upside down, following the maxim: you only live once!
The world has never seen huts like these, the first in Poland conceived and designed by us personally. They are standard guesthouse rooms, but they don't have regular doors, just zipped curtains, and proper roofs overhead. The bathrooms are just a few steps away, and the kitchen in the old barn is also a short walk away. They are situated in our green space with a vegetable garden, chicken coop, orchard, and views of the fields. Our house is situated in a fenced-off part of the garden so that our dogs – Luna and Fifa – and the chickens don't get under your feet. But rabbits, quail, and ornamental hens live right next to you :)

On a half-hectare area, available only to you, you'll find:
- five huts spaced a comfortable distance apart,
- shared bathrooms (two) with showers, toilets, and sinks,
- an old barn that we dismantled ourselves in a neighboring village and brought back to us on a wagon borrowed from a neighbor and reassembled :)
- in the barn you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with an island, tables for dining, and a living room with a bookcase. - wood-burning hot tub with jacuzzi, or bubbles under the apple tree*
- hammocks
- deck chairs
- plenty of greenery
- fireplace, summer kitchen with grill, wood-burning stove, and cauldron.
(Firewood provided / coal not provided).
Time to get down to business. We invite you from May to October :) At Siedlisko, you'll find atmospheric wooden huts, designed, conceived, and built by us. Collaboration and technical know-how went into action. Hammers, brushes, miter saws, jigsaws, screwdrivers, screws, ladders, and spirit levels passed from hand to hand, and that's how our huts were created.
The kitchen, dining room, and living room are located in an old, over 90-square-meter barn, which we dismantled and reassembled ourselves.
Siedlisko is located in the countryside. Although the distance from the neighbors is considerable, you can still hear a dog or two barking or someone starting a lawnmower. Machinery is sometimes at work in the surrounding fields, even late at night, and mosquitoes and flies are also quite thriving ;)
The huts are not heated. Rentals are available for those who absolutely hate the cold ;)

We invite you for breakfast. From our guests' reviews: iconic :) We serve it at 9:00 AM. Every morning, we deliver breakfast baskets to your kitchen, filled with seasonal ingredients. You can eat in bed, in the dining room in the barn, or on the terrace. If you're vegetarian, we offer cheese, cottage cheese, vegetables from our vegetable garden, eggs from our chickens and quails, yogurt with fruit, jams, and honey. If you prefer a meaty breakfast, we add homemade cold cuts smoked nearby.
In the garden beds, we have tomatoes, lettuce, zucchini, cucumbers, beans, strawberries, and herbs (if the voles don't get their fill first...). There are berries and mushrooms in the forest... plenty of berries and mushrooms.
The rest of your meals are up to you. You have access to a fully equipped, shared kitchen (fridge, freezer, induction cooktop, kettle, drip coffee maker, microwave, jug with water filter, toaster, complete dinnerware, pots, pans, etc.). You can cook, bake, and heat up. A variety of coffees and teas are also available in the kitchen at all times. You can also visit the vegetable garden for a few snacks for dinner, but it's worth doing some shopping on the way to Siedlisko anyway. The nearest larger store is Dino, 6 km away, and a pizzeria, bakery, and shops are 13 km away.
You can eat on the terrace, in the dining room in the barn, or by the fire.
There's a fire pit, a grill (bring your own charcoal), a "Westfalka" wood-burning stove, and a cauldron.
Since you're visiting the Masovian countryside, it's worth settling in and enjoying all the benefits. These are rural luxuries. Above all, we have time here... To lie in a hammock with a book, then to nap on a deckchair in the shade of a large chestnut tree, or to sunbathe on the grass. Visit our bunnies, check out what's cackling in the henhouse, pick some blackberries from a bush, and take a walk. You can pick berries, mushrooms, or just walk without bending over for anything.
And if you get bored of doing "nothing" ;)...

You can play board games in the barn or badminton on the grass. You can "knock down" Molkky in the shade of a chestnut tree. You can listen to the birds singing and, in the evening, the crackling of the fire and crickets. You can sleep until noon and talk until dawn. You can do anything, but sometimes it's nice to do nothing.
Once you've rested enough to feel bored, you can head out into the countryside. See Liw Castle and its Armoury Museum. You can kayak to Węgrów, or even closer, and float down the beautiful Liwiec River. We recommend choosing the route that ends right under Liw Castle. You can also visit the Karczunek swimming pool. You can see Twardowski's mirror (yes, that Twardowski), hidden in the sacristy of the church in Węgrów, and while you're at it, grab some lunch at Wałek and some ice cream at Kilińskiego 18. It's worth visiting the Museum of Wooden Architecture of the Siedlce Region in Nowa Sucha and the viewpoint on Owl Mountain, from where you can admire the panoramic view of the Liwiec River. The hill is also shrouded in many legends and stories. For primitive peoples, the mountain was a place for performing rituals honoring trees and the sun. Archaeological research has confirmed the existence of a thousand-year-old fortified settlement at the foot of the hill, now in the village of Grodzisk.
The kids (older kids over 12 years of age*) fall asleep instantly to the lullaby of crickets. But first they have their hands full. Purple from berries, green from arranging field bouquets. They check what the rabbits have for breakfast and whether the hens have received enough grain. Then it's time for swinging in the hammock, a walk through the fields to the forest and a game of badminton in the garden. In the evening, when the entire area is lit up with lights, vegetables and sausages land over the campfire, board game matches start in the barn, the children's batteries are usually running low.
Internet... If you have Play, T-Mobile in your network - there is a big chance that everything will work ;)
