We invite you to our wooden house, which until recently was part of Mr. Serafin's farm. When guests are away, it is guarded by a resident family of dormouse and one owl. You can fit up to 11 people here and everyone will find a place just for themselves - by the fireplace, a sideboard with eggshells, on a hammock in the afternoon sun, by the fire and a tub with hot water that soothes the body after a whole day spent on a mountain trail or ski slope. Molusiówka is our happy home - take care of it and it will reward you in kind.
Where will I stay?
- three bedrooms upstairs (9 single beds in total),
- a living room with a fireplace and a sofa bed (cornea) for two people,
- a kitchen with a large table, a grandma's sideboard with a collection of shells, and an old stove (which unfortunately is just a thing of the past),
- a bathroom with a shower.
We sleep nine in the bedrooms, with two more on the sofa, and two more people can sleep on extra mattresses, so the cottage can sleep 13 people in total. If you'd like to come with a group of more than nine people, let us know. We'll prepare an extra bed on the sofa and/or mattresses for them.
The heated hot tub and sauna have been hailed by our guests as the Village's greatest attractions. Here, you can melt away all the stress you've brought with you, while enjoying the panoramic views of the mountains or the starry sky.
If you'd like to take care of your well-being, we recommend a massage. We both provide massage and invite you to a session of fascial or relaxation massage. Sessions take place in a beautiful, separate space in our workshop room overlooking the forest.
We have a herb garden in front of the house – mint, lemon balm, thyme, and wormwood (be careful with the dosage) are at your disposal. Around the house, you can pick strawberries, blackberries, apples, mushrooms, linden blossoms, and St. John's wort.
We warn those with sensitive ears – ours creaks. Wood has been in use for a long time, so it sighs loudly. We have a family of dormouse dormice living with us – they sometimes venture into the kitchen. During the colder months, mice fleeing the frost come into the house, and there's plenty of forest wildlife around the house. There are generally no disturbing noises here... except for an owl, which can give you goosebumps at night. We also have neighbors whom we really like, so we don't allow nighttime parties outside (let them sleep in). In winter, access can be difficult, requiring a 4x4, and chains are often necessary.
In the neighboring meadow, where shaggy cows graze, we've created a campsite that we rent exclusively during the summer season. It can accommodate an intimate festival or family celebration for up to 100 people in their own tents. The campsite has its own summer kitchen nestled in the meadow and forest, as well as showers and composting toilets.
In addition, you can also use the year-round Workshop Room with a sleeping loft that can accommodate a group of 12 people, and the semi-open Barn, where we've hosted events like the Cozy Outdoor Festival and highland dances for 60-80 people.
This makes the Molusiówka settlement the perfect place to host intimate workshops, meetings, training sessions, or small weddings, preceded by an outdoor, slow-style wedding. In addition to renting our space, we can also help with organizational matters. Out of respect for neighborly relations, we do not rent our settlement for large events.
You are welcome to bring your pet, but please keep an eye on them. We are not fenced, so your pet can feel the call of adventure and disappear into the forest.
The Molusiówka hamlet has more than a dozen farms, creating a friendly and welcoming community. We strive to preserve the stories of the former farmers (including Serafin and Wiktoria, who owned our place) by collecting old photographs and recording the fascinating histories of this area.
What about food?
Remember, meals are best enjoyed outdoors, so decorate the table on the porch or light a fire and sit and eat as much as you want.
If you're coming with a larger group, for example, for a workshop, you can count on our vegetarian or vegan cooking. Our cuisine is all about comfort food – delicious, nutritious, simple, homemade, and healthy meals for body and soul.
Sometimes we'll even make wild garlic pesto, breads, or liqueurs, so let us know if you'd like to buy anything from us. For fresh bread, head to the village bakery (you can even buy it on Sundays), get farm eggs from Mrs. Stasia, and do the rest of your shopping at the shops in Koszarawa, Przyborów, Jeleśnia, Żywiec, and Sucha Beskidzka. We're located near the "Silesian Flavors" Culinary Trail, where restaurants serve traditional regional dishes prepared according to old recipes – it's worth trying!
How to spend time?
We hope you like walking and climbing, because you are in a place that is especially conducive to mountain tourism. Our favorite destination is the nearest peak Jaworzyna, which offers a beautiful view of Pilsko. Leaving the house, if you turn east, you will come along a path to a river with a footbridge and a mini-bathing beach, then along a path to an asphalt road, which leads to Klekociny Pass, Beskidek and Zawoja. If you go west, you will come to the hamlets of Kotrówka, Mrowcówka and Przyborów. In the south there is Jaworzyna and the hamlet Pod Jałowcem, and in the north Lachów Groń from which you can admire a beautiful view of Babia Góra. Going straight down to the north and passing the house of Mr. Wawrzek, you also come to the river. A place with a beautiful waterfall, above which there are rock shelves, which we call a natural jacuzzi - we recommend bathing there in hot months (in some places it is so deep that you can sit freely and cool down your hot body).
Our suggestions for slightly longer walking routes:
1. Zamolusie: this is the next hamlet that is easy to reach by heading east, that is, continue along the road you came on. After passing a few farms, the road ends, but do not be discouraged, you will definitely find a forest path that will lead you to Zamolus. Just don't go down too far, or go uphill, the path goes more or less all the time at the same height. It is also an alternative route to get to the church. Fun fact: Zamolusie is located in the neighboring commune - in Przyborów, which is a bit strange, because Przyborów is on the other side of the mountain.
2. Kotrówka: you have to go back a bit the way you came. After crossing the meadow called Dżystoniówka by the oldest highlanders (it's better not to know what it meant, for the curious: arguing or the effect of indigestion) we turn left to the forest path and keep going on the same level until we reach Kotrówka (on the left side ) and a bit further, following the stream, to Kalikówka, and even further to Mrowcówka. Lots of mushrooms in summer and autumn!
3. From Leonowa Chałupa in the "center" of Molusiówka, we walk sharply upwards, towards the south. On the left we pass a renovated house, and after a few bends we go out into the open space: it is Torgosowa Clearing. Going all the time south (uphill), looking for forest paths, you will take a shortcut to the top of Jaworzyna and maybe you will find a clearing where there is a beautiful hamlet called Pod Jałowiec, with one of the last huts covered with original wooden shingles.
Tourist route suggestions:
1. Molusiówka - Kotrówka - Cerliska - Jaworzyna - Pod Jałowiec - Molusiówka: 1.5 - 2 hours
2. Molusiówka - Jaworzyna through the hamlet of Pod Jałowiec - Polish-Slovak border (red trail) - Mędralowa - Klekociny Pass - Koszarawa Bystra - Zamolusie - Molusiówka: 3-4 hours.
3. Molusiówka - Koszarawa Bystra - Farm near Hala - Lachów Groń - Beskidek - Klekociny - Zamolusie - Molusiówka: 2.5 - 3 hours.
4. Molusiówka - Jaworzyna - Mędralowa - Babia Góra - Markowe Szczawiny - Mędralowa - Koszarawa Bystra - Molusiówka: 12-14 hours.
These are of course our suggestions - the routes are arranged in loops, they can be joined together by extending them. We recommend the Tourist Map application, where you can control your location, plan and save routes, search for tourist routes. It's worth taking your bike with you, we have very nice trails and bicycle routes. One of the most attractive cycling centers in the region is Zawoja and Babia Góra Trails (20 km of routes of various difficulty levels) and dual pumptrack (jumps and a training path for beginners). You can reach Zawoja by taking a shortcut through the Klekociny Pass, provided that you have a 4x4 car.
If you get bored with the neighborhood, it is worth going:
- to the Żywiec Brewery, the Brewery Museum, the Old Castle in Żywiec and the Żywiec Museum,
- to Golgotha Beskidów (Matyska hill) or Barania Góra,
- to Lake Żywieckie and Lake Międzybrodzkie,
- to the Zimnik Valley,
- over the Mosorczyk Waterfall,
- to the viewpoint on Skrzyczne,
- to the Żywiec Ethnographic Park,
- to see the spring and summer sheep grazing at Hala Baranek. And when we are with sheep, it is worth visiting us in May, because it is then (on the occasion of the redyk) that you can see the ritual of mixing sheep (forming from animals owned by many owners of one herd). This folklore event is always organized on Saturday and its aim is to promote sheep farming in the Żywiec region.
If you like adrenaline, we recommend you try your hand at paragliding - you can fly with a tandem pilot on Góra Żar. In winter, it is worth taking your skis and going to Korbielów, Szczyrk, Węgierska Górka or Mosorny Groń.
Is it kid-friendly?
Near the house, they'll find a treehouse, a zipline, a swing, and our 7-year-old son, who's happy to engage the whole family in play or around a campfire.
On rainy days, the kids will find games, books, and a projector for showing cartoons. They can also spend time in our barn.
In winter, you can use the ski toboggans and duo-flights that are waiting for you in front of the house. Bring good gloves and appropriate shoes, because the amount of snow in the mountains allows for hours of snowball fights, building an igloo, and organizing a competition for the biggest snowman.

No i wspaniali, troskliwi gospodarze.

Cisza, ptasie koncerty, przepiękna okolica i brak zasięgu to gwarancja odpoczynku, totalny reset.

My na pewno jeszcze wrócimy ;)

By car
Our address: Koszarawa 742a, Koszarawa, Żywiec Beskid Mountains, Poland
You pass the church in Koszarawa, turn right by the school towards Koszarawa Bystra. About 1.5 km further, you'll reach the Koszarawa Bystra bus stop and, right at its height, turn right onto a bridge. Continue up the asphalt road and take the first left over the bridge. You'll emerge from the forest into a large clearing. The first houses in the hamlet, on the left side below the road, with red roofs – this is our settlement. Above the house, there's a small parking lot that allows for two cars, but be careful on rainy days; it's slippery and quite steep. In winter, we park our cars in the upper parking lot, 50 meters from the house; driving directly down to the house is often impossible. A four-wheel drive makes the drive easier, but it's also possible with a four-wheel drive, but it's best to have a slightly more experienced driver behind the wheel.
Public transport
Nearest stops

Our houses are the first in the hamlet, located on the left side below the road.
