Behind the forests, behind the rivers, on the seashore is a beautiful park full of birds, squirrels and other animals. In such a park, it is fun to lie on the lawn and catch the sun in the warm weather, to hide in the shade of the trees during the heat, and to wade through the snow in winter. In the park stands a large, creeping house with large terraces and cozy seating areas. Pond in front of the house: sleepy in the evenings, gilded by the moon, cheerful in the days, echoing in the voices of children…

This is how the fairy tale begins, which for the second year in a row is followed by the Hosts of Agluonėnai Park House. Also in this fairy tale are the monuments of Lithuania Minor, a sleigh ride from Gediminaičiai Hill, a sunny morning on the terrace, the smell of grilled shashlik and warm whirlpools of water. And what are the main characters of the fairy tale? It has space for everyone who will be close to the story: couples, families, a group of friends - up to a maximum of 8 people.

The Agluonėnai Park house is distinguished by its architecture. A broken mansard roof, wooden supports against the background of a white facade - all these are typical elements of half-timbered or German frame style, which can be seen practically only in Lithuania Minor. The house is surrounded by a park formed over the decades, which is full of rare trees such as walnut trees, ginkgo trees, aspen trees. There is no shortage of animals in the park either - cuckoos, herons, woodpeckers, squirrels, hares live here...

The owners of the house live on the second floor, the first floor of the house with a separate entrance is reserved for guests. The entire rented floor (150m2) is intended for one family or group of guests only, it does not need to be shared with outsiders. The first floor consists of two bedrooms, a large living room with a kitchen area, a mini library, board games and a large TV, a terrace and a Turkish bath with a whirlpool and a swimming pool. The bedrooms - White and Green - each have a large double bed, and the green one also has a double sofa-bed, but an additional bed for a child or a bed for an adult can be delivered (for an additional fee of 10 EUR per night). There are blackout curtains and insect nets on the windows. There are bed linen and towels, air conditioning and Wi-Fi.

The house's cat does not make friends with other animals, so please leave them at home.
Guests are welcome all year round.

It is not necessary to cook for yourself during the holidays, but if you think about it, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen area (dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, coffee maker, tools and utensils, sugar, salt / pepper and tea / coffee ). You can choose spices for seasoning dishes from the range grown by the hosts, which includes thyme, mint, oregano, calendula, sage, basil. You will enjoy fresh apples during the season.

The dining table is suitable for eight people (there is also a table for the little ones). In the warm season, it is fun to have breakfast or dinner on the green terrace of the house - there you will find a six-seater table, deck chairs and a barbecue with all the necessary equipment (spit, grill) and fuel. Bulbs and heaters will make an even colder evening cozy.

Holidays in Agluonės are slow and pleasant. It is best to come here for a little longer, so that you have time to take advantage of all the pleasures and explore the surroundings.

1. SPA SPACE. Heated pool with counter current, hot tub and steam room - all included in the price of accommodation, for guests only, and visits to the spa area are not limited. The pool and jacuzzi are always warm, and the sauna is activated by prior arrangement for 2 hours a day (additional hour 10 eur). The use of pool "noodles", swimming boards, inflatable wheels, balls, diving sticks also does not cost anything extra.

2. PARK as far as the eye can see! A private basketball court under your windows, a pond with a stream and many different trees - sunbeds, hammocks and chirping birds. Next to the house is another park with the monuments of Little Lithuania, the monument-altar of the Gediminaičiai pillars built on the poured mountain and the Lithuanian oak grove: an ideal place for walks.

3. SURROUNDINGS. While in Little Lithuania, don't miss the opportunity to get to know the local history and architecture. Mažvydas, Vydūnas, Donelaitis, Kantas and other famous Lithuanians came from this region. There are protected ethnographic buildings in Agluonėnai itself; during the holidays, the altar is lit, songs from the region of Lesser Lithuania are played. Feel free to ask the hosts what can be seen and visited around the house. The Curonian Lagoon with the Nemunas delta and fishing villages are not too far away, and if you miss the hustle and bustle of the city, Klaipėda is only 20 km away.

The house is suitable for recreation with children: there are extra beds, high chair, swimming vests for children, inflatable wheels, "pasta", swimming boards. Usually arriving children spend the whole day in the pool, but if you want outdoor entertainment, there is a large children's playground with three swings, two slides (one of which is a spiral skating rink) and a squirrel watching tower.

In winter, if it snows a lot, be sure to bring sleds with you: rides down the hill with Gediminas columns - real fun!
