Being so close to deer is a really rare opportunity that true nature lovers would not hesitate to sacrifice for their comfort. However, there is no need to give up the amenities closer to the Nature House, and guests are prepared with everything they may need for a pleasant rest for several days. The area of the cottage is minimal, only twelve square meters, but its space is equipped in a modern and thoughtful way. Inside there is a comfortable double bed, a shower (water heated by a boiler), a toilet and a mini kitchen with the possibility to make hot drinks or chill food in the fridge. There is even space to build an extra bed. There are hooks for hanging clothes and shelves for storing things. In summer the house is cooled, in winter - heated by an air conditioner.

The cottage's kitchenette has a kettle, dishes and utensils, a refrigerator, coffee, tea and sugar. If you want to cook, you can do so on the embers (barbecue and firewood are on site). It is not necessary to bring drinking water - the house is connected to the water supply. The nearest grocery stores are right here in Kurkļi, you should drive to Anykščiai to larger supermarkets. By the way, there you will also find a selection of highly regarded restaurants.

If you have chosen a house Closer to Nature, you already know that you will not have time to get bored. Here are some ideas on how to make friends with locals. Daniels are timid animals that are in no hurry to go to humans. Watching them is best in the mornings and evenings when they are more active. However, it is easier to invite when you have "Daniel" delicacies in your hand: apple, pear, carrot, acorns, chestnuts or even bread (even better - dried). So bring a feast with you that they won’t be able to resist and the meeting will definitely succeed. Highlands, which graze in their enclosure nearby, are much friendlier, will come to chat on their own and will also be happy to have fun: like Daniels, they love fruit and vegetables. 300 meters from the cottage - the river Virinta, narrow and shallow, but fast enough and full of small thresholds and a barrier, which is so much fun to cross when kayaking. You can rent kayaks on site, the routes will be presented by the Hosts. If kayaking is not attractive, you can just walk along the river valley, try the famous Lajai trail (6 km) or go to Anykščiai, where there is no shortage of entertainment.
