Lavender life here with a hint of pink. Lavender and rose are sunsets, coffee watered with syrup, alchemy workshops, open air painting, fields and meadows. Lavender is in June and July, and then our stall is all in bouquets. In the stall it also smells like a plantation: cookies, breads, creams, oils are purple with flowers. Autumn is full of color and our botanical garden is blushing. It is after the hustle and bustle of the season, and you can still enjoy the warm sun and the Art in the Workyard. In winter, the fireplace in the houses and the lavender supplies in jars. Spring prepares us for harvest. Apple trees, bird cherry trees, flower meadows are blooming, and the botanical garden is in bud. Private bird concerts reign then, a book by the pond in a sweater quilt and bike tours in the wilderness.
We are fine here, but we will share. Our nice surrealism, breakfast baskets, knowledge about lavender and a bench overlooking the purple-green hills. After such a dose of aromatherapy, even the biggest nervousness will turn into a stoic. See for yourself.
In wooden houses that smell beautiful on hot days. In our lavender agritourism you can live, eat breakfast on the terrace, lie down on a deckchair in your own garden, warm up in the autumn by the fireplace, sleep in unpressed, wind-dried bedding.
The Lavender and Rose Houses are designed for a maximum of 4 people, although couples will be especially comfortable here.
They are cosily furnished, at a comfortable distance from each other, on both sides of the path, each with a private, fenced garden.
On the ground floor there is a cast iron wood stove, a comfortable double bed, bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe, a table, 4 chairs, a lazy armchair and hi-fi equipment.
On the mezzanine there are two single beds with bedside tables (the mezzanine is low).
There is also a terrace with awning, a wooden table and 4 garden chairs, a wooden sun lounger.
In the bathroom you will find a shower, hair dryer, washing machine, clothes dryer, hand and bath towels, liquid soap.
Your pets are welcome here and do not pay for the stay. It is necessary to inform in advance that you intend to take your pet with you. Take bowls and bedding for pets with you. We don't want your dog friends to sleep in beds and armchairs.
In Lavender Field, dogs and cats live with us.
You can order meatless and fishless meals from the agritourist kitchen. Breakfasts and dinners. The Breakfast Basket is full of local products (depending on the possibilities of the prevailing season), from home pantries and gardens, served on request and for a fee around 10.00 am, directly to the Cottages. In the cabins, however, there are comfortable, though small kitchens, in which you can manage your own way. In summer, process rowan, apple and mirabelle jam gathered around our farm.
In our Lavender stall you can buy everything that is lavender: coffee syrup, cookies, bread (we bake it 3 times a week, you have to order it), sandwiches with delicious fillings. The shop is open from May to October.
In the area you can buy homemade cheese, bread, organic vegetables from the garden.
You can do all sorts of things in the countryside. At your disposal are hectares of space, a bench with a view of the lavender field, bicycles to explore the beautiful surroundings, evening relaxation by the fireplace, and a slightly different concept of time than in the city. The countryside is a slowdown. It stops a man. Both physically and mentally. And being a peasant is a reason to be proud, see for yourself, even on holiday. We will provide you (together with experts) with knowledge about nature that is not given to a man in the city, even if he spends all day in parks. During the one-day and weekend alchemy workshops you will get:
- basic knowledge about medicinal herbs, how the local ecosystem works, endangered species, invasive species (herbal walk),
- a few words about lavender (cultivation, use, action),
- knowledge and skills of wild cuisine (practical workshop),
- tools and skills to make natural cosmetics: herbal soap, face moisturizing cream, deodorant (practical workshop).
Workshops are paid extra.
What else can you do without leaving the Lavender Field?
- Visit the Living Lavender Museum, which is our ethnographic educational and workshop stop, where you can taste the return to rural past times. Here, lavender can appear in various artistic versions, and you also have enough space to rest, sometimes participate in lavender tasks (for example, in tying bouquets of fresh lavender). Taste the lavender infusion, learn something about lavender, see the permanent exhibition. The museum and shop are open from May to October.
- Walk around the plantation and botanical garden. For example, Jerusalem artichoke, medical verbena, Chinese elecampane, fruit trees and shrubs, flower meadows, flowers and spice herbs: thyme, thyme, several varieties of mint, roses, heathers and others grow there. It's wild, the alleys are unkempt, the paths are a bit overgrown. We think it's adorable. Come see if that's the case. At the entrance to the Secret Garden there is an information board with a map of the area.
- Visit our lavender gift shop, which opens on May 1. It's a small wooden house where you can find magic. Magic locked in a container so that it can accompany you on the way home and has not disappeared anywhere. This is where you can buy lavender products made by us and our neighbors. We have something of alchemy, culinary arts and handicrafts. There are ecological oils (lavender from lavender from our plantation), lavender water, creams, fragrant wardrobe hangers, dessert syrups, breads with lavender and nigella, shortbread cookies, lavender bouquets. We do not use any chemical fertilizers or sprays for lavender, so our products are completely free of preservatives, artificial additives and enhancers.
- Take part in the lavender harvest. From mid-June (of course, depending on the weather) to the second half of July, we collect flowers and tie them into bouquets. Volunteers are welcome, because it's always more lively and work goes more efficiently. Several thousand bushes give such an aroma that you can relax forever. You can catch lavender bread baked three times a week, cookies or sandwiches with our spreads. And then sit down with coffee on a bench and stare at the blissful purple landscape.
- Go to Riga in lavender, because Rydz is better than nothing! We will not tell you where they grow, we will not spoil your fun of mushroom picking. And if you come to us for longer, you will surely find fruiting apple trees along the road, blushing roses, wild herbs and lots of mushrooms in the forest.
- Give yourself to blissful doing nothing on the pier over our small lake. Listen to frogs, birds and look at the sky.
- Take a book from our library and read, with coffee with lavender syrup in hand, on a deckchair in the green and purple thicket of the garden.

Whoever is interested in art must come to Lavender Field during the annual Art in Obojście festival. The event takes place at the end of September and, as the name suggests, is spread over the surrounding farms. Then the whole area between Godki, Pupki, Węgajty, Nowy Kawków, Stary Kawków, Szałstra, Wołowno changes the gallery. I highly recommend the experience of unusual backyard and home galleries, exhibitions, handicraft workshops, concerts. It is a three-day artistic journey around the Jonkowo commune.
