LABA lake house

We are situated in a charming valley, in a row with a few neighboring houses. On the one hand, it is surrounded by fields, on the other, it is surrounded by a strip of forest behind which the Grabowskie Lake is hidden. LABA is a house for 4 people. It consists of a living room with a sofa, armchairs and a stove (goat) and a dining area. A fully equipped kitchen is a separate room. The last room on the ground floor is a modern bathroom with a shower. Further on, the stairs lead to the mezzanine with two small bedrooms. One with a double bed, the other with a sofa bed for two. On the first floor, we have arranged a comfortable place to relax with a large sofa (which can accommodate an additional guest) and a small cinema (fold-out projector, studio monitors and a large collection of dvd movies). This corner is also perfect for an afternoon nap or lounging with a book and a glass of wine. The LABA can be perfectly warmed with a goat (wood included), with the possibility of distributing heat around the bedrooms. In the bathroom and kitchen, we have installed heaters controlled by wifi, manually activated if necessary. You can also warm up by the fireplace in the garden.

We have equipped our kitchen with all the necessary appliances. Personally, we love cooking and the kitchen at LABA is great. Here you will find a large fridge with freezer, an oven, an induction hob, a blender, professional coffee-making equipment (Moccamaster, v60, grinder, kettle) and even a washing machine. We left a lot of spices and basic food products on site. An additional advantage is the sun, which shines into the kitchen all day long on cloudless days. The large table will accommodate a lot of delicacies, and after the meal, the dishwasher will finish the job, so you can spend the saved time by the fireplace or in the garden. Don't take plastic water bottles! We have a jug in the kitchen that filters it. The nearest store is about 800 meters away and offers basic products. For larger purchases, we recommend the KABE shopping center in Nowa Karczma, where you will find more than in many big-city supermarkets (vegan, gluten-free, ecological products, etc.). In nearby Egiertów (approx. 13 km) there is a company store with its own products (jars with ready-made meals and soups, also vegan options, as well as own meats, smoked fish, jams and syrups). Less than 10 minutes away by car there is an ecological farm where Mr. Zbigniew sells various root vegetables, legumes and tomatoes. He also has horses and conducts horse riding lessons for those interested.

Laba is associated with pleasant doing nothing, but man does not live by lazing alone. There are several hiking and cycling trails around. Directly behind the fence you will take a walk between the fields, and through the back exit through the garden you will enter the dense forest that stretches along the lake. The surrounding forests are full of mushrooms, and you can catch some good ones in the lake. There are several lakes in the vicinity - the nearest one is Grabowskie, a little further Grabówko connected to the Małe Kamionki lake, then Psinko and Będomińskie. We have two classic bicycles for riding around the area (let us know before arrival if you want to use them), yoga mats, and we can leave agility training equipment for pets. In the warm months you can barbecue in the garden, and on cooler days you can light a fire. At home you will find plenty of board games, Lego blocks, interesting books and a large collection of films for cinema evenings. Snacks, a blanket, a screen that slides out of the ceiling and it's time to watch. If you like being in the water, our region is known for great kayaking trips. There are also several stables offering horse riding nearby, including the largest natural stable in Pomerania, Dżygit (less than 18 km away). In Połęczyn we have the nearest cross-country ski trail, and a little further there are slopes for snow skiing (Koszałkowo, Przywidz, Trzepowo). The Aqua Center in Kościerzyna is approximately 18 km away.
