There was not a deserted meadow that had once been a pond. Before it was discovered by Mr. Hromada, who decided to restore the place to its original meaning and create a majestic pond in the middle of beautiful nature in the Vysočina region.

As the water level of his dream pond rose under Stanislav's arms, he longed to settle on its shore. At least occasionally, so that he and his mistress have complete peace. After getting acquainted with the designer from nearby Telč, the idea of a simple wooden cottage was transformed into a magnificent project of a water house, to which we invite you right now.

The whole wooden building stands on concrete pillars and floats above the water surface. You will realize that you are entering a completely extraordinary and unusual place as soon as you step on the footbridge. The care and love with which the House was built over water is evident everywhere. That's why the construction took 8 years.

Do you love water, but rocking a boat or houseboat doesn't do you any good? Then welcome to the ecological, stable and ingeniously designed House above the water.

If you enjoy the white noise and sounds of the ocean before going to bed, you really don't need it here. The occasional splash of the fish on the surface and the wind combing the neat curls on the pond lull you to dream without any problems. You will forget everything here.

2 BEDROOMS

The two bright bedrooms are located on opposite sides of the house, so even if you come in four, you will have privacy. On the levitating double bed, you wake up to a wonderful view through giant windows facing the pond. The real daredevils drop their pajamas right after waking up and jump straight into the water. Because you could have imagined such a feeling of freedom that you will experience when reading beat novels.

COMMON ROOM WITH FIREPLACE

The common area is dominated by a fireplace. The view into the flames beautifully replaces the view of the pond when it gets dark outside. Thanks to this, the house above the water is cozy and pleasant even in winter. We recommend a comfortable couch for sitting rather than lying down, but in extreme cases it will also serve as a separate bed for a disobedient member of the trip. The atmosphere is completed by music from the radio or our Spoify account and, last but not least, a glass of great Czech wine.

SITTING ON THE TERRACE AND GARDEN

On balmy evenings it is not necessary to cram by the fireplace. You can use the spacious terrace and breathe the fresh air that smells of the Highlands (meaning the region, NOT salami). Sitting is ready, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the present moment.

Not only is bread alive, is it? But when he's hungry, that real rest is not entirely possible. We have built a beautiful kitchen island in the common part so that the twitching in your belly does not drown out the sounds of nature. It is equipped with everything you are used to from home, so if you don't want to be among the people, you don't have to go anywhere.

It is possible to sit both at the dining table inside the house and on the outdoor terrace. There is also a gas grill ready for you, which simply belongs to the summer holidays. The garden behind the house will also serve as a place for a picnic. And there you will find a wood grill, barbecue stone and a cozy sitting area. In summer, don't be ashamed to offer yourself from our herb garden. With us, you can eat every day elsewhere and differently.

If your morning or afternoon rest is not without coffee, then welcome to paradise. With us you will find a lever coffee machine, coffee drip tray, mocha kettle and french press. And for tea culture lovers, we have a special kettle with adjustable temperature. A minibar with well-chilled wines is at your disposal as well as breakfast items.

When else do you get off your hoof than on vacation at the House on the Water. On request, we will order a chef to your house, who will conjure up a luxury menu for you on request. Ladislav Floreán will arrange higher gastronomy for you. Five courses of fantastic and perfectly perfected tastes JUST for you.

In the House above the water, you will feel like on a private island, but this certainly does not mean that you will be cut off from the surroundings.

Don't be ashamed to enjoy a few days of sweet lounging, doing nothing and intense rest. Have a glass of wine on the terrace. Let us prepare a picnic basket and enjoy feasting on a blanket among ants with their heads in the clouds and a blade of grass in their mouths.

In summer and winter you can warm up in our fragrant sauna. Feel free to jump into the pond to cool off - it's a wonderfully liberating feeling. The private outdoor hot tub (barrel) on the shore of the pond is especially useful for romantic evenings.

When the peace and splashing is too much for you, go for the city bustle to the nearby architectural pearls. We mean Telč, Jihlava and Pelhřimov. Telč is also adored by UNESCO, which included it on the list of cultural heritage in 1992. The picturesque square with plenty of opportunities to enjoy and sit is exactly what you have to indulge in through Slow Travel travel. A beautiful renaissance chateau on Zachariáš Square in Hradec, under whose influence Telč experienced the greatest glory. The castle park with rare trees has been making the castle a company since the 16th century.

Cycling routes cross the Vysočina region. Come and see the neighboring Batelov with its castle, synagogue and Jewish cemetery.
