The plan was different. We were not supposed to live in a 19th-century farm in the Kłodzko Valley, to which there is no proper road. We did not set up our own apiary and horses. But life can surprise you: sometimes you just drop everything and move up the hill. In 2008, Kasia's parents bought the ruined farm in Wilkanów. There is the date 1735 on the nearby chapel, which probably commemorates the date of the foundation of the farm. The buildings were erected over a hundred years later, but they still had the right to age a bit until our times. There was more work to do with them than it seemed at the beginning, so we took care of the farm. We decided not to shred it, we packed our bags and for another year we create a place where a horse sometimes looks through the window.
You probably wouldn't hesitate too long. Around us we have fields, meadows, forests, we have rivers and streams, and also this sky where counting stars at night is never boring. If someone had told us years ago that we would live like that, we probably wouldn't have believed it. And today, in the rhythm of nature, with animals at our side, we are leading Jasmine Hill. This is a large farm: due to its size, we are happy to host groups. Organized yoga trips are very welcome - we have a yoga room here and we know what it's like. And if you want to come in a small group, just ask us for other reservations during your stay. We believe that everyone will find a space for themselves. Here, in our place on Earth, in the heart of the Kłodzko Valley.
Our farm is large and you can come to us for a grand celebration in various configurations. We have 5 double rooms, 3 apartments of various sizes and a detached wooden cottage for rent as a whole. Each facility has a fully equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, pots, all cooking and baking accessories and tableware. We didn't even forget about the corkscrew. Our interiors are decorated in a warm, idyllic atmosphere.
Due to the size of the facility, we gladly accept groups. You can come to us for a work-integration trip, with a group of friends for skiing or for a school trip. Groups for organized yoga trips are very welcome - we have a yoga room here. If you want undisturbed peace and quiet, ask us about reservations during your arrival. It may happen that a trip will be hosted on the Hill, but it doesn't have to be like that. There is also a room on our farm where we organize special events.
Jaśminowe Wzgórze covers a large space that you can use as you wish. There is a large gazebo that can accommodate up to 50 people, there are garden tables, benches and stretches of grass where you can lounge. There is also a volleyball court.
We also offer our small garden SPA, which includes a dry sauna, a hot tub and a cooling barrel. The SPA is reserved exclusively. These attractions are subject to an additional fee and require reservation directly at the reception.
We are reached by a gravel road that is easy to miss. Detailed directions on how to get there can be found in the "How do I get there?" section.
There is no food in our offer. Each of our guests has access to one of the really well-equipped kitchens where you can cook for yourself. The nearest shop is less than 5 km away.
For groups, however, the situation is different. We organize meals for groups, which we prepare ourselves or use a friendly catering company.
Well there is no option! We have a lot of attractions. Starting with the fact that you can simply hang out in our center and organize your time here. We have a foot pitch and a net pitch, a ping-pong table, badminton equipment, boules and ringo. We have a place for an evening bonfire and barbecues. We also have our own horses and Kasia is a yoga instructor. Classes are held regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays (registration required), but for a group of several people we can also organize them on a different day.
In addition, we deal with beekeeping - there is our small apiary in the area, to which we will gladly invite you. We will tell you what this fascinating activity is all about, and with a bit of luck you may be able to buy a jar of our honey (we will say immodestly that it is very popular in the area).
We love animals and we invite all of us who have a similar affection for them. We have hung nesting boxes for birds on 10 trees on the farm, so that our guests can observe them and that they are always accompanied by bird songs. You can also meet deer, red and black squirrels, foxes and watch our neighbor's farm animals.
Nature lovers will not be disappointed with a visit to Jasmine Hill. There are meadows and forests all around, and we walk around them in every free moment. It is a 20-minute drive to Międzygórze, from where you can climb Śnieżnik, the highest peak in our area. Walking on foot takes approx. 3 hours.
Nearby there are also ski lifts, a rope park and Sky Walk, the so-called path in the clouds (on the Czech side, in the Dolni Morava Resort). You can go canoeing on the Bardo Gorge or on Błędne Skały to the Stołowe Mountains National Park.
There is also a lot to see. We recommend the Gold Mine in Złoty Stok with its underground tourist route, the third largest castle in Poland: Książ Castle and the Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki Zdrój, located in an architecturally unique paper mill from the 17th century.
What’s there for children?
We have children ourselves: Czarek and Grzes, and we cannot imagine a better place for them. Thinking about the kids, we have built a playground with a sandbox, swings and a wooden house, there is also a lot of space around where they can run. In summer, we put up an inflatable pool on the playground.
You can arrange a horse ride with us, we will also be happy to invite little helpers to work with the animals. In addition, there are plenty of attractions for the youngest in the area. You can organize hiking trips to the woods and meadows, where you can observe wild animals. You can play badminton or rent bikes.
