You probably know the series about Mr. Its author was Zbigniew Nienacki, a longtime resident of Jerzwałd. Zbyszek, apart from light stories for children, scraped something stronger from time to time. In 1983 he published a scandalous novel "Once a year in Skiroławki". She went like hot cakes due to numerous erotic threads. Zbyszek treated them simply as part of human history, a story about the Warmian community. But in the 1980s, such an approach was rather not common. What does this have to do with Jerzwałd? Well, in this story, Jerzwałd played the role of Skiroławki.
Twenty-three years later, Paweł, a passionate of Warmian history and architecture, came to the Jerzwałd region. He turned the unsightly village, the communist milk catchment area into a house drawing on the local architectural tradition, full of finds from antiques fairs and furniture with the past. Balance: 15 years of construction, help from dad and neighbors and 300 fruit trees and shrubs. Together with Gosia, they created a new-old place in the village, which in itself is a good introduction to the history of the area.
We invite you to Jerzwałd, not only once a year.

Enthusiasts of travel, all kinds of sports, contemporary art, history and architecture. Despite traveling all over the world, they always return to Masuria - to Paweł's hometown (which Gosia quickly liked :)). They have been building the house for over 10 years, they have put their passions, interests and a piece of themselves here. At home you will find dozens of paintings, books, instruments, antique furniture and a piece of the history of this region. Even though they have visited most of the surrounding hiking and biking trails, they discover something new in the area every year.
