In the middle of nowhere, overlooking nothing and the Gryf Castle looming far in the distance, stands the Rice Field Settlement. Here you come to look into the distance, go nowhere and do what you like. We do not have plasma, but we have comfortable armchairs under the window, because in our opinion endless space is the only TV set worth staring at. Inside our house, you can eat goat cheese in original ceramics, take a delightfully relaxing bath on the mezzanine and soothe the senses tired with excess stimuli. And then you hit the trail: by bike, on foot or cross-country.
Osada Pole Ryżowe combines our greatest desires and passions. We turned our lives upside down and sold the house to move the whole family to Izery. I dreamed of creating an interior from scratch that would be decorated with my artistic ceramics. I want to share my love for this craft and show you how to make your own raspberry bowl with a fingerhole. And my husband and son, passionate ski instructors, will be happy to take you to the slopes in winter. Come to us for Zen, for inspiration, for an injection of creativity. The Jizera Mountains enchanted us years ago. Since then, we've returned every year with a blossoming dream of coming back and staying here forever. We've found everything we need here as lovers of mountain hiking, skiing in every form, cycling escapades, cross-country trails, silence, sometimes enhanced by the screaming of cranes, picturesque sunrises and sunsets, and a starry sky – because there are more stars here than anywhere else.
So we found the perfect hill and built a "cottage in the mountains," or rather, two: with the most beautiful view on earth. Its modern form, dressed in tradition, houses minimalist, comfortable interiors, made unique by original ceramics.
A rice field is a place in the middle of nowhere, where there's everything a person needs to hear what's in their heart. And what's in yours?
