Come on in, dinner will be ready soon. do you hear? It's the trout that is already sizzling in the pan, fresh, just brought from Bezmiechowa. We collected potatoes from the garden for it, and since wild garlic is already growing, we will mix the whole thing into an aromatic purée. I'll only fish green asparagus out of the water and serve it to the table. Remember to leave room for dessert. There is some chocolate fondant with celery ice cream, but for today Ewa also prepared meringues from country eggs accompanied by fruits: strawberries and raspberries. Attention, I'm going with hot! Even before we moved to Maciejewka, our lives revolved around food. The views from the kitchen have changed only slightly - from London's Mayfair to a 7 hectare farm in Zahoczew, Podkarpacie. For several years, we have been perfecting recipes for 30 flavors of homemade bread, trying local Parmesan cheese substitutes, and I think we even manage to find a recipe for a happy life. It contains a lot of ingredients not available in stores, but easy to collect at our place: reading on the terrace with a view, watching bison through the window of your neighbors or walking in wild meadows. Such a life, however, is best enjoyed slowly, without excessively adding fuel to the fire and throwing meat. That's why you'll most often find vegetarian cuisine here.

Together with Ewa we came to Bieszczady for a long weekend and it has been going on for a good few years :)
Our passion is cooking and gardening. When creating our original recipes, we use many years of experience from England. I was a chef in London for 12 years, and now I am trying to make Maciejewka's guests interested in our cuisine. Dishes change and refer to the season. We cook mainly vegetarian, but sometimes there is also fish.
