Glemuria

Glemuria is a modern building located on 70,000 m² of garden. Inside the house there are 4 air-conditioned apartments with a phenomenal view from the window. We have designed everything to provide you with the opportunity to hide from the world and relax comfortably. We invite you to: - Forest Apartment, Bunker and Brick Apartment. Each of them has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a living room with a sofa bed and a kitchenette. - LuxTorpeda Apartment, which differs from other apartments in that it has a free-standing bathtub. Each apartment is air-conditioned, has a terrace or balcony (apartments on the first floor), each has access to the lake, garden, barbecue and each has its own parking space. Don't worry about your holidays in the cold months - we have goat stoves and heated floors. If you come to work with us, go ahead. We have wifi and TV with SmartTV and YouTube. Glemuria is located in a hamlet of the village, about 1 km from it. It is one of five houses in the area. It is a semi-detached building connected to our house by a facade wall. However, it has a separate entrance. At your disposal will be a large 1.5-hectare meadow, which is adjacent to our neighbor's farmland. Sometimes a tractor or combine harvester works on it (this happens several times a year). Disadvantages related to the rural location: mosquitoes, flies and frogs that appear in the summer and can be heard in the evenings (they don't bother us, but sensitive ears may have to get used to it). If you want to take your pet to us, please let us know. We allow pets to stay, but they are small, polite, that do not disturb other guests and sleep in their own beds.

Each apartment has its own kitchenette. A bit further behind Kętrzyn you will find several tasty restaurants. Our proven picks are listed below.

We present you a minimum package: - sunbathing on the terrace, - observation of fauna and flora. Here we have cranes, herons, storks, ravens and hawks, roe deer, hares, deer and most importantly: ELMES! It is really not hard to notice the moose here, because they love Gypsy forests, - early risers can watch the most beautiful sunrises in Masuria, and in the evenings everyone gathers for bat dances and red sunsets, - you can easily fish in our fish pond, - 5 minutes walk from our facility there is a sandy beach, an arboretum and a recreation and leisure complex with a clean and safe bathing area. You can rent pedal boats, drink coffee, buy a snack in a nearby minibar. Coming to us is a close contact with Masurian nature. Enjoy the large garden with a fireplace, the shoreline with direct access to the lake, orchard, sun loungers, birch grove and a boat and barbecue. In winter, we hang feeders and a variety of birds arrive, so if you've never had a chance to see a Greater Beak or a Woodpecker up close, you'll probably see it. And here is the maximum package (of what you can squeeze out of the area): - Medieval Fair at the Castle in Kętrzyn. - historical reconstructions, tank battles in the Wolf's Lair (Hitler's headquarters) - reconstructions Battle of Wopławki, - air show (e.g. Mazury AirShow), - we are only half an hour away by car from Giżycko, Mrągowo, Węgorzewo, Święta Lipka and ... the border with Russia, - Boyen Fortress in Giżycko, - Viaducts in Stańczyki (a bit further, but it's worth it), - sailing concerts (Szanty Sztynort), - International Folklore Fair in Węgorzewo, - be sure to take your bikes (the area asks for a few sightseeing trips!), - you can easily organize canoeing trips and cruises on passenger ships along the route of the Great Masurian Lakes. Interesting facts: on one of the plots of land we have our own private bunker. So real. During the Second World War, it was probably used for protection and observation of the headquarters. After the war, the whole village went to the sauna sessions. We're thinking how to recreate this idea ... who knows what's going to happen next.
