In soldiers' words: we have no reception, we do not collect stars and we focus on blissful laziness. And why in soldiers? Because we are in the Wolf's Lair zone. The house stands in the line of historic trenches, and in our field there is still a bunker, which was used to protect and observe the quarters, after the war the whole village used to visit it for sauna sessions and now we are working on recreating this idea.
We are located in a quiet hamlet of the village of Czerniki (German: Czarny Kamień), located on the tourist route that runs through all the most important places of Masuria, through which, according to legend, the devil flew and dropped the black stone. It was here that my grandparents moved in, chased away devils, war spirits, and my grandfather started to quietly catch fish that found their way to the tables of the Warsaw elite. It was said of them: the best! Although the idea of his grandfather's life was interesting, we do not know how to catch fish. We decided to rest and we took care of creating a comfortable place where all those eager for contact with nature will come (we have a garden of 70,000 m2, a lake, free ornithological workshops and moose walking in the area). Our journeys were the inspiration from which we drew a lot of experience. In life, we have done many interesting things and visited many interesting places (we consider our wedding on a Seychelles beach to be the greatest adventure of our lives). We can pack up in one day and set off on a journey through Europe. Mariusz worked in a corporation for many years, wandered around Europe and one day he was just fed up with it. In Glemuria, he is responsible for the quality of the website, good relations with guests and tables in exel. She loves to walk around the habitat and think about improving the place. Since 2016, Natalia has been running the company only remotely, and to work, she only needs a computer and a head full of ideas. Therefore, Glemuria is perfect for remote work. However, if you just want to recharge your batteries, we will tell you what to see, where to avoid the crowds and where to eat. Our daughter, in turn, will tell your kids what's going on in the grass. So how are you coming?
