In soldierly terms: we have no reception, we don't collect stars, and we rely on blissful laziness. And why soldierly terms? Because we're located in the Wolf's Lair zone. The house stands in a line of historic trenches, and in our field, a bunker that served as protection and surveillance for the quarters still stands.
We're located in the quiet hamlet of Czerniki (German for Black Stone), a village on a tourist trail that runs through all the most important places in Masuria, where, according to legend, the devil flew through and dropped the black stone. It was here, right after the war, that my grandparents moved in, chased away the devils and war spirits, and my grandfather took up leisurely fishing, which ended up on the tables of Warsaw's elite. They were called: the best! We also think fishing is a great activity, but there are 100 other ways to relax here: lounge, birdwatch, sunbathe, grill, swim, paddle, sail, pedal, eat, watch sunsets, explore, spot moose... we'll tell you the other 88 ways when you arrive!

While Grandpa's idea for a life was intriguing, we can't fish. We focused on relaxation and focused on creating a comfortable place that would be a haven for anyone seeking contact with nature (we have 15,000 m² of meadowland, a lake, and moose roaming nearby). Our travels were our inspiration, and we've learned a lot from them. We've done many interesting things and been to many interesting places (we consider our wedding on a Seychelles beach to be the greatest adventure of our lives). We can pack in a single day and set off on a European journey. Mariusz worked in a corporation for many years, wandering around Europe, and one day he simply had enough. At Glemuria, he's responsible for the quality of service, good guest relations, and Excel spreadsheets. She loves walking around the establishment and thinking about how to improve the place. Natalia has been running the company entirely remotely since 2016, and all she needs to work is a computer and a head full of ideas. That's why Glemuria is ideal for remote work. But if you just want to recharge your batteries, we'll tell you what's worth seeing, where to avoid the crowds, and where to eat. Our daughter, in turn, will tell your kids what's up.
