You first drive to us along a country road, where the houses are still quite dense. But then the buildings become sparser, and a forest grows on the horizon on all sides. Then you turn right and near the forest, beyond the field line you can see our habitat. Still in the Masovian Voivodeship, but right next to the border with the Lublin Voivodeship. In a straight line, Kazimierz Dolny is 10 km away, but you have to go through Puławy to cross the Vistula. Or take a ferry across the river. Some things haven't changed here for centuries.
We invite you to our hamlet, to 5 hectares of greenery. On one side there is a forest, on the other a river, on the third a field. And in between - a forest SPA with a sauna and a hot tub overlooking a hedge of trees. This place encourages us to create and absorb nature in all possible ways. Maybe it will inspire you too.
Our habitat is located on a 5-hectare plot and is surrounded by fields and forests. The closest neighbors live quite a bit further. Their existence is often revealed only by the crowing of a rooster in the morning.
In the house we have 5 guest rooms and common areas: an intimate dining room, a living room, and a sauna, which is accessed through a large room with mirrors - we created it for lovers of yoga and other forms of creative body bending (if you are part of this group - take a mat!).
Outside, you will find a lot of places perfect for spending time with a book, but we also have a pond, and at the end of the plot - a river, so you will be tempted by walks. If you paint, draw or just create - you will have the opportunity to hide in one of our corners and immerse yourself in art.
We serve breakfasts based on local products, and in season - on vegetables and fruits from our organic garden (you can also eat them straight from the ground/tree!). We have our own tomatoes, lettuce, radishes, onions, beets, peas, zucchini, carrots, parsley, we also grow herbs, gooseberries, raspberries, wild strawberries and currants.
For breakfast we usually serve cheese, yogurt, humus, bread, a platter of cold meats, and something warm - e.g. scrambled eggs, pancakes or hot sausages. If you are vegetarian, don't worry - let us know in advance and we will serve you meatless breakfasts.
We do not provide access to the kitchen, but you can use the coffee machine, and all rooms have kettles and refrigerators.
We serve breakfast only on weekends, let us know if you want to use the kitchen during the week :)
Our habitat will give you peace of mind and the possibility of real rest. You can relax completely, for example:
- on the terrace (4 of 5 rooms have a 12 m2 terrace) with a cup of coffee, a book or - we highly recommend this option - on a yoga or pilates mat,
- on a blanket under a leafy nut that grows in the garden,
- walking by the pond and by the river,
- going for a long walk / jogging along field and forest roads, which are not lacking in the vicinity of the habitat,
- serving yourself a session in the sauna,
- playing board games in the living room upstairs.
In the vicinity you can go horseback riding in Fiord Ranch (they also organize sleigh rides in winter) or go canoeing, there is also a place to rent a bike. In winter, there are ski stations: Parchatka and Kazimierz Dolny (25 and 30 km from the habitat). We recommend a few places for sightseeing tours:
- Janowiec, with an open-air museum, an 18th-century manor house moved from Moniak, and a 16th-century castle,
- the reservoir in Janowice (note the names of the places - they are confusingly similar :), where in summer there is a guarded bathing beach, beach, beach soccer field, playground and it is possible to rent water equipment,
- Widok vineyard (13 km from the habitat),
- ferry crossings over the Vistula River (from spring to autumn) - we will tell you where, what and how.
Within an hour you will reach both Kazimierz Dolny and Lublin - you can arrange a day trip with sightseeing. It is also close to Sandomierz!
What’s there for children?
Above all, children have a lot of space to play and freedom with us. There are also several places in the area where it is worth taking the little ones - we recommend the Magic Gardens, which will especially please younger children. In the summer you can take the kids to the lagoon - there is a guarded swimming pool and a playground. There is also a friendly stable nearby, where children can go horseback riding or help look after the animals. There are also rams, dogs and a cow!
What’s there for employees?
In the living room connected to the kitchen you can work very comfortably, but it is only open during breakfast, i.e. until 11:00. The dining room, which has a table with 6 chairs, is also open until 11:00. However, at your request, the hosts can leave it open until the end of your work, i.e. until 16:00.
The cozy hall room has sofas, armchairs and a table with four chairs. For the needs of a larger group, the hosts can add one more table to work there. In each room there is a laptop table where you can work on a bed or an armchair.
