Grandma was at the beginning. Not a chicken, not an egg, but a grandmother. Summer holidays full of sun, grandma's caress, bread and butter. Swimming in the dam, running on forest paths and heaps of experiences. So when life put us ahead of the decision to sell the house after our grandmother or to keep and restore it, we clearly chose the latter.

We will not tell you how much work, renunciation and stress the transformation of the old ruin into Cinderella took us. But we're glad we didn't give up. And maybe as a reward were all the treasures that we uncovered during the reconstruction. For example, those beautifully admitted beams with an inscription from 1903 at Marinka or those who passed the fire test at U Milušky. We took what we could and gave it a second breath, we completed the rest with our own hands or with the help and support of our amazing friends. Old forks converted to a hanger, beautiful handwork on metal railings, kitchen units, decorations.

Preserving and reviving the legacy of a beloved grandmother was simply the best thing. Come to us. The beauties of the Slovak Paradise await. And if you want, we will tell you even more, for example about the blast furnace for iron and slag, about wine corks, or about the shop, our local rarity. 6 APARTMENTS
You will find apartments with us 6. Each has its own name, so you don't get me wrong and each of them also has its own private entrance. You can come here in pairs and enjoy the coveted romance. Or come here with your family and friends and enjoy a holiday in Raj. Simply choose your Slow Travel according to you.

APARTMENTS U MARINKY, U HANIČKY, U MILUŠKY
They are suitable for up to 6 people. Marinka and Hanička hide 2 bedrooms, Miluška again has one and another 2 beds in the attic.
Another pair of people can sleep in the common area on the sofa bed.

APARTMENTS U JANIK, UMBRIA, TOSCANA
There will be max. 4 people. The apartments are open, so don't expect a bedroom separated by walls from the rest of the space. Each apartment has one double bed and a sofa bed.
And in the apartment "U Janíka" count on a completely open concept - there is no wall in the bathroom;)

WELLNESS
All our guests also have access to a private wellness area. Sweat your worries in the Finnish sauna and relax in the hot tub under the open sky.

AND MORE...
For all apartments there is a gazebo, fireplace, room with barbecue and sitting area, boat and paddleboard.

OWN KITCHEN / KITCHEN CORNER

Each apartment has its own kitchen or kitchenette. In everything, everything is necessary so that you can cook what you like and make fragrant coffee. There is a fireplace in the garden, where you can cook your best cauldron and there is also a barbecue in the area.

SLOW TRAVEL IN SLOVAK PARADISE

You can jump like deer, but ... Slow travel is also about lounging, enjoying quiet moments and relaxation. Maybe the unread book you didn't have time for would call you. Then don't hesitate to pull out the beach chairs to catch some freckles or bronze, or relax comfortably under the gazebo in the rocking chair. Alternatively, in your cozy apartment.

But if you want to relax in other ways:

PALCMANSKÁ MÁŠA
- you will find boat, pedal boat and paddleboard rentals here (at the pier of the village and Koliba Zuzana) - but we have 2 own boats and paddleboards at our disposal, so don't hesitate and take a dip in Palcmanská Máša!
- You can rent bikes and go cycling
- Palcmanská Máša viewpoint
- in winter you can skate or cross-country skis on the frozen surface :)

FISHERIES
Are you a fan of fishing? So enjoy it. Here you can catch brown trout (its lake form), rainbow trout, but you can also catch juniper, perch or roach.
Of course, in this case, there is a state fishing license, which you can buy at the Municipal Office. Prices for a fishing permit for a non-member of the fishing association: 30, - € / day or a permit for a member of the fishing association: 15, - € / day, but just in case ask.

HIKING IN PARADISE
- Zejmarská ravine (ladders) - entry into the gorge along the red direction Mlynky Biele Vody over the ski slope. Ascent to the Gerava plain (approx. 1 hour), follow the green route back to Dedinky (approx. 45 min.)
- Stratenská pila and Stratenský canyon
- Raven's Rock
- Sokolia dolina - boarding Podlesok - by car or tourist bus

CAVES
- What you see on the surface is one, but another magical and unrecognized world is hidden underground. See for yourself in the caves (Dobšinská Ice Cave 12 km, Ochtinská Aragonite Cave - near the Betliar manor house - 41 km, Krásnohorská Cave - adventure show in equipment - 46 km, Gombasecká Cave 47 km, Domica 56 km).

They have a yard for the chases, you can play hide-and-seek together, fill up bird feeders or meet our cows. In the evening, light a campfire, fry bacon or apples and peacefully sing by the campfire.

A separate chapter can be Palcmanská Máša, where they can swim, jump on a bomb in the summer, or try to catch fish, or skate in the winter, when the water level freezes properly.

If you have restless climbers who like to climb all the trees, take them to the Tarzánia Rope Park near the Dobšinská Ice Cave (suitable for children from 6 years of age). And of course, even go to see that cave, it's really beautiful.
