This place was not so lucky for a long time. Its over a hundred-year history started well - first there was a residential house, then an inn. But then it passed from hand to hand, apparently not hitting anyone who would see its potential. Until we finally got there. First we dropped by every now and then, but quickly realized that the "some time" was getting shorter.
We moved to Konopki Małe and breathed new energy into the former German farm. Now we can invite you to our rural holiday home. Here, parents can enjoy the blissful tranquility of the evenings spent on the terrace, because after all-day play in the garden and splashing in the lake, children die like flies. We will feed you to your heart's content and leave you alone. And the rest of the love repertoire you choose yourself. We invite.
Our Country House is located in the middle of a tiny village. It is a farm, which is still evidenced by the type of buildings - the farmer's house, two barns and workshop cottages. Today, you can stay in the host's house, we live in a former barn, and we constantly transform other buildings into places useful for our guests. In the courtyard of Kosowiska we have a playground, a mud kitchen, a trampoline, further on there are places to sit in the garden, a hammock in the trees, a sauna, a hot tub with a jacuzzi, deckchairs. Wiejski also includes 15 hectares of meadows and fields, which you can freely use. The house itself has 5 rooms with bathrooms, a common dining room, a playroom, a living room, a toilet and a spacious terrace.
Since, in our opinion, a 100% holiday is a holiday without standing in the kitchen, we offer our guests breakfasts and dinners (included in the price of the stay). For hungry people or those who eat very regularly, we can optionally order a family lunch basket.
We invite you for breakfast in the form of a Swedish buffet at 8.30. Then a sweet buffet with coffee around 13.00. Two-course dinners with dessert are served at 17.00. We cook from the heart, at home, from the recipes of our grandmothers. We use local products, diversify meals and try to make the bellies in ecstasy. We love food and our planet - we run a zero waste kitchen.
Drinks are available all day, without limits (coffee, tea, water). We try to limit plastic - so we filter our water, our guests can drink tap water.
You can't be bored in Masuria :) you can rent bikes in Kosowisko - there are countless bicycle routes. The fields and gravels invite you to go for walks, Nordic walking and jogging. In the garden, you can lie in a hammock and read. Or give your body and soul to the sauna. You do not have to invite you to the lake, but if you need to convince us, we have a SUP board, thanks to which you can explore the lake along and across. There is a gravel road 2.5 km to the lake and the village beach. For history and military enthusiasts, places such as the Wolf's Lair, Mamerki, the Boyen Fortress or the Museum of Military Equipment await.
Tubing is organized in one of the neighboring villages, i.e. a ride on special tires and playing with controlled vehicles. In Wiejskie, however, you can always get bored, play cards, do puzzles or drink wine on the terrace. Because boredom is ok too!
What’s there for children?
A playground and a playroom await children, and the lake is a stone's throw away. There is plenty of space to play, board games for bad weather, sledges for winter descents, and a perfect area for hide and seek or stalking. We invite all the little guests to a country holiday!
