They say that there is nothing further, because in Pasterka the road ends and does not lead anywhere, but it is here that life can slow down. Uphill trails, thickets of greenery, rock monadnocks, Stołowe Mountains National Park, cross-country skiing, hot chocolate in the shelter. There is no shop, ATM, stalls, or even mobile phone coverage, but there is a place where the holidays have reigned for 100 years. A family guest house where we are waiting for you with a cup of delicious tea and beetroot ice cream.
We will not hide that our Szczelinka is not a model of a 4* hotel. The windows are small, because this was the reality 100 years ago, but it allows you to sleep well and for a long time. Each room is a bit different because otherwise you couldn't carve functional bathrooms out of what used to be a youth hostel with 130 bunk beds. Sometimes the floor creaks, because it is supported by wooden beams planed by hand. But, and this is very important but. We have a lot of heart for children and animals, delicious cuisine with a short menu, homemade bread for breakfast every day, several rooms to spend time with others, music from vinyl, cross-country skis for rent, knee-high snow crampons. Experience your holidays with us like in the days of trips to the "resort". Where children had their own safe space to play, and parents finally had some peace. We would like your children to remember Szczelinka in this way. And from many places we hear voices that this is so.

We run the slot in two, or actually four. Well, yes: Maciej is the owner and boss of all bosses (and bosses), and Beata manages it on the spot. Behind Maciej, however, is Jagoda, the spouse who supports and allows him to implement crazy ideas and investments, and behind Beata - Rych, who at the same time takes care of the gastronomic aspect, i.e. that he invents all the beetroot ice cream and peanut crème brûlée. And there are also our kids: Iwo, Lea, Kacper and Ziemowit. Why are we mentioning them? Because their presence in our lives makes it extremely easy to recognize the needs of little people (and their caretakers), and this again allows us to create an object with families in mind, a place where we would like to go and where we would simply feel All right. You will also meet the Szczelinki band there. It is mostly made up of people who, like us, have fled big cities and are making a nest with us at the end of the world. We talk about ourselves, or actually they say about us, that we all together - together with a bunch of amazing friends of this place - create a family by choice, and there must be something to it.
