Apparently someone wise once said that the first house of characters for the enemy, the second for the friend and the third for himself. We did not build, but we did. It doesn't matter which order, because all our guests are warmly welcomed as our friends. We invite you to us, in the Danube region, in Štúrovo to get to know the diverse south of Slovakia. Here we lovingly renovated a house that we thought from the beginning would be for us. For our daily lives. But in the end, everything turned out differently, so we decided to open the door for you.

Come to this place and feel its magic. The surroundings of the Danube were once perceived by the ancient Romans and Kvadi as a cult place full of natural energies. You have all the elements here as if in a witch's cauldron. Water, earth, sun, air. Perhaps that is why the most noble wines of the Esztergom Archdiocese were produced here in the Middle Ages. But don't worry, it wasn't just in the Middle Ages. You can see for yourself the deliciousness of the grape drink on your own taste buds. But not only that. Suffice it to mention all those goulashes and paprika. And who would want to run them, or sweat, no problem. It only depends on you whether you prefer your favorite physical activity or choose to admire the historical gems of the Danube region.

We lovingly renovated the house. We wanted to live here ourselves, so it is really adapted to everyday life. It consists of 2 spacious bedrooms, living room with dining area, kitchen, bathroom with tub and terrace with garden.

You can reach a maximum of 8 of us and you don't even have to say goodbye to your pets - feel free to take them with you.

2 BED
One bedroom consists of 1 double bed and a bunk bed for 2 people (max. 4 people). The second bedroom has 1 double bed, 1 single bed and a cot (max. 3 + 1).
Another, the eighth bed, is located in the living area of the house.

TERRACES AND GARDEN
From the house you walk directly to a 20m2 large covered terrace with seating. Well, you will have a view of the 8-acre garden. The house has another terrace with barbecue and seating. Add a glass of local wine to the atmosphere and taste, and warm up on the warm atmosphere of Norwegian stoves on cold days.

Parking is provided in the parking lot, directly in the building, for 2 cars.

Children will enjoy the swing, sandpit and children's corner.

We firmly hope that you will enjoy and cook even better in our rustic kitchen (that is, if you want;).

But we definitely recommend you immerse yourself in the flavors of the Danube region. This is because the Danube is not just a border that divides two countries, two nations. It is also their link. In southern Slovakia, Slovak culture has long been "mixed" with Hungarian and, at one time, even Turkish. And since food knows no bounds, you can enjoy a mix of great, strong flavors here.

The most famous dishes of the Danube region are goulash, perkelty, paprika, lecho, živanska, sweet šomloi dumplings or the traditional Jókai bean soup "bableveš". Do you already know what to choose?

We know that not everyone likes meatballs, but again someone likes it hot and bubble. In such a case, we only subtly suggest that we are only 800 m from the Vadaš thermal swimming pool in Štúrovo and 2.5 km from the Aquasziget Aquapark in Esztergom.

HUNGARY
Don't forget your citizen and come to Esztergom. Peaceful on the bike. The gems you find there - you can hear your eyes. Such an Esztergom basilica is the third largest church in Europe (after the basilica in Rome and London). And it has others at its best. Wander to the castle complex and walk through the Dark Gate. For romantic wanderings, head towards the Danube, to the Water City (Víziváros).

At the bend of the Danube, above the ancient town of Vyšehrad, rises a castle from the 4th century. During his reign, King Matej Korvín also used it as a summer residence. Visit Solomon's Tower as well.

Seriously, take a trip to Budapest. It is 55 km away from us, which is not far at all. And if you haven't been there yet, get ready for unforgettable impressions :)

We will briefly outline cycling and hiking in the Burda Mountains or part of the Danube Cycle Route.

But you don't have to go anywhere at all. You can sit on the terrace, laze, dedicate time to a book or a good local wine. Get to know producers who preserve the soul of South Slovak wine.
In the summer, light a grill and you can have a recipe for a relaxed recipe.

We have already mentioned swimming pools, but you can also go boldly to the natural beaches on the Danube. If you want to try horseback riding, it won't be a problem either. Just ask us and we will direct you where you need it :)
