The narrow road leads past low stone walls, hills covered with modest vegetation and several more or less flourishing farms. A typical landscape for central southern Croatia. The village ends and everything up to the mountains on the horizon is filled with grayish rows of olive trees. A sign that you have reached your goal. And that's where the magic begins. In the middle of the olive grove you spot a wooden house that looks like a rancho. The only building nearby is a crumbling old church that looks as if taken straight out of a Tarantino film. You are aware that this is Croatia, but something inside tells you that you are a lone ranger. Or at least Robinson on a deserted island.
There are dozens of Robinson's houses on the map of Croatia. It's not a hotel chain, but a trend described by the hashtags "getaway", "tiny living" and "off-grid". If you long for the endless starry sky, sunshine and silence, you can start planning a trip to Orkula Robinson House right away. The discreet presence of curious turtles, sheep flocks and the chirping of crickets only adds to the feeling of isolation from the outside world. However, our guests are not threatened by true isolation: all they need to do is get in their cars and drive a few kilometres westwards to Lake Vransko, the beaches of Pirovac or the island of Murter. All the beauty of the Dalmatian coast is at your fingertips. Enjoy the slowtravel at its best.

My name is Krešimir and I come from Pirovac, a beautiful small town on the Adriatic coast. Experience a unique holiday in a small Robinson's house located in the heart of the olive's garden surrounded by 300 olive trees. Allow yourself and your loved ones to wake up in nature with the smells of grass and the chirping of birds and crickets, away from the city noise, traffic jams and curious views, and only a few minutes from the Pirovac and its beautiful beaches. In the immediate vicinity, be sure to visit the Vrana Lake NP, the Kamenjak lookout, the Krka NP, the Kornati NP and Šibenik.
