Do you have a moment for a little hvile? Hvile is Norwegian for "rest" and the Norwegians know how to do it remarkably. All you need is a good base somewhere outside the city, close to nature, far from civilization.
Our "hvile" is a house near Warsaw, somewhere among Masovian forests and meadows. We have our hytte here. It is old, yes, but it has just turned into something completely new. It has nothing to do with the austerity of Norwegian huts, though the premise is similar. Come here with a family or two, make a candlelight dinner, show the kids what s'mores are baked in the fire, and that shoes soaked in a nearby stream are really nothing. Wake up in the morning overlooking the forest, spot a walking fox and watch woodpeckers while drinking your morning coffee on the terrace. Maybe all of this is not a big deal, but for us it is "hvile". We invite you if that's what you are looking for.
