Our house is situated on a plot like in Gorce, but still in the clouds. From the kitchen window, the landscape is no worse than from the nearby observation towers, and the air can be the freshest you inhale. This is a place for those who really love the mountains: from us, straight from the garden, you enter the trail, which takes you 3 hours to reach Trzy Korony. You probably won't watch Netflix with us, because we don't have wifi, but we have silence and space for thinking. And if you like to practice them in the kitchen, you can arrange a jam session after the currants and raspberries are harvested from our bushes.

Simple truth: in Gorcowa Hala you forget about the world, because civilization has not ventured so high. Far away from the store, medium infrastructure, no TV. And as you can guess: it's not easy to reach us. When you drive through the forest for quite a long time and think that you have mistaken the roads, then you will be on the right one. However, the daredevils will find many prizes: the night sky dotted with stars, long evenings by the fire, dumplings with a view and blueberries. We invite you to a place we love for its wildness and closeness to mountain nature. You don't need much: all you need is a willingness to rest, a sharp look, comfortable shoes. If peace of mind is your Holy Grail, you will find it here.

At your disposal is a wooden house with an area of 120 m², which can accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Gorcowa Hala is therefore ideal for a getaway with a group of friends, two friendly families or one large one. The house has 3 floors. You will find 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 single beds.

There is a large living room with a fireplace, a dining room and 2 terraces, lower and upper, made to enjoy the views. We have 2 bathrooms: one with a shower and one with a bathtub.

There is a lot of common space in the house, which is important for group trips - you will have a place to sit for talks, play board games or drink mulled wine. In the large garden, you will find: a place for a bonfire with a grate, benches and tables, hammocks, garden chairs and sun loungers. There is everything you need to rest after a day on the trail. Or simply rest - without leaving the trail, in a place where there is finally peace.

You have to cook yourself, because we don't serve meals. But the kitchen is very well equipped: there are cutlery, plates, pots, pans, cups, mugs, glasses, there is a dishwasher, a large fridge, a four-burner stove, and an oven. On site, you will also be able to order cottage cheese, oscypek, bundz, eggs. We planted bushes of black, red and white currants, blueberries, white and red raspberries and gooseberries on the plot - so you can arrange a jam session and prepare your own hot fruit preserves.

You can be bored with us at will or not be bored at all. For those who just want to get away from civilization and hide in a secluded place, it will be fine with us. At Gorcowa Hala you can read books, play board games, watch DVD movies (we do not have TV, but the TV set does, and there is a disc library with a selection of films waiting for you), lounging on sunbeds and hammocks. You can contemplate nature, go for walks in the area, ventilate your head at will. If you want to work from us, the internet is great for us, but you have to bring your own because there is no wifi.

You can also treat Gorcowa Hala as a starting point for trips around our region, because there are many attractions there. Of those we particularly like - and we are connoisseurs of the area - we would recommend:
- Stara Polana by the red trail, between Krościenko and Lubań, where a walk from us takes only 15 minutes along a forest road, and the views from it are beautiful;
- the Pass of Glory to God (aka Szopka) - you can get to it from Gorcowa Hala in 3 hours and it is worth it, because at the end there is a reward: a panorama of the Tatra Mountains, which delights every time;
- The Pieniny Mountains and their most beautiful peaks: Trzy Korony - here you can also go on foot, without getting into a car; stop in Krościenko for a good coffee and ice cream or lunch on the way, so that you have the strength for the trip;
- Pieniny Road, i.e. a bicycle or walking route from Szczawnica to the Red Monastery in Slovakia - the route is approx. 9 km one way, and there are many nice views waiting for you on the way;
- Dunajec rafting - it is quite a tourist and commercial attraction, but whoever has been to such a rafting experience knows how much fun it is: the strength of raftsmen and their stories are as impressive as the nature around.

Gorcowa Hala is also a great point for skiers, nearby are the Kluszkowce, Szczawnica, Jaworki and Polana Sosny ski lifts.

For children, we have swings, hammocks and toys. The youngest can run out in the garden around the house, they will have fun with the evening bonfire and learning about the mountain nature. But we won't do without your commitment: our children's infrastructure is not the richest one, so it's not entirely the case that you will leave the progeny to itself. Children who are curious about the world and who like contact with nature will like it.
