Osada Helenów

In our settlement, in a private forest, there are 5 wooden houses designed with attention to the smallest detail. The Helenów settlement is located in the Kozienicka Forest, near the Ługi Helenowskie nature reserve. From Warsaw you can travel to us max. 1.5 hours Each house has an area of 42 m² and can accommodate 4 or 5 people (see details for individual houses). Each house has a mezzanine with a bedroom, and downstairs there is a living room with a kitchen, a bathroom and a separate bedroom. There is also a porch where you can practice yoga or read in the summer. The entire forest of Osada Helenów is at your disposal, you can also visit our vegetable garden and pick, for example, vegetables for breakfast. We are very proud of it, so we will be happy to show you around! We were inspired to create this place by our own recreational needs. We like idyllic atmosphere, but we also value quality. We love going to places where we can commune with nature, where there is peace and intimacy, but we attach no less importance to the interior design and architecture of the buildings in which we want to stay. Do you feel the same way? You will like it here. Each of our houses has been designed from A to Z. We have great respect for tradition and we prefer it over temporary trends. We really wanted the houses of Osada Helenów to fit into the landscape, draw on the design of the Polish countryside and be made of natural, local materials. Their design was preceded by in-depth preparation: before we presented the idea to the architect, we thoroughly studied the literature on folk design. There was no question of any ramote - it was supposed to be traditional, but with taste. The exterior of the houses is covered with larch wood: the most weather-resistant wood in our climate. Interiors? Before they were created, I spent many months browsing through English interior design magazines, to which I have a great weakness. If you love the English cottage style, you will be delighted. Each of our houses has a different theme, each one has a slightly different way of relaxing, but in all of them detail and quality are simply the most important. We put our quality mark on everything, and this mark says, for example, that our bedding is made of high-quality Italian cotton and that we designed the elegant linen embroidery decorating it ourselves. Such flavors will certainly be appreciated by connoisseurs of details. Osada Helenów is also a friendly place for motorcyclists and the off-road community. We are also building a charger for electric cars, so feel free to come to us with them. The minimum rental period for a house is 2 days, excluding special dates such as long weekends and holidays. We accept pets in all our homes! We are eco: - we sort garbage and bio waste goes to our composter; - we do not have hot tubs or jacuzzis because this involves either wasting huge amounts of water when changing the water after each guest, or using huge amounts of chemicals to keep the water clean. That's why we have a natural swimming pond, where in summer you can swim in peace and quiet - there is a small sandy beach and a wooden pier of 100 m2 - and in winter you can cool off after visiting the Russian banya; - we operate in accordance with the principles of sustainable business based on ESG. We require a deposit of PLN 500. We accept guests with pets in all our homes. The additional fee for an animal is PLN 150 regardless of the length of stay. We have highchairs - free of charge.

For meals, you can only order breakfast from us - we will provide you with baskets filled with local products: fresh bread (on Saturdays, as part of premium breakfast baskets, you can order bread baked in a wood-fired bread oven), country eggs, seasonal vegetables, home-made jams, delicious zucchini caviar (from our vegetable garden, of course :) Breakfasts in Helenów are seasonal, once you receive asparagus and strawberries from a family plantation - we guarantee, you won't get fresher ones anywhere! – and another time a jar of berries and a recipe for pancakes. There is a vegetable garden for you in the settlement, so feel free to reach for lettuces, radishes or kale :) You have to take care of the rest yourself, but this is probably not the worst option: we have heard that cooking in our kitchens is very pleasant. Because we are lovers of asparagus and our local plantation, in the houses you will find equipment for cooking them and detailed instructions on how to do it so that they taste the most delicious. And if you want to relax to the fullest, we recommend Karczma Cuda Wianki 5 km from here. You can also go to Radom, where they serve tasty food, for example at Kraft Bistro.

Boredom is highly valued with us. That's what this place was for: to calm down, reset, turn off your head for a few moments and return to the city with zen instead of thinking. Therefore, if you are not a connoisseur of boredom, it is probably better that you jump somewhere else. However, if you are looking for it, we have a whole repertoire of slowlife and retirement entertainment for you: – On request, we will give you a massage: in the summer on a fragrant, green meadow, in the winter by the fireplace in the privacy of our homes. To choose from: classic, sports and relaxing massage. – A wood-fired Russian banya called Szeptunka is waiting for you in the settlement (please book a session in the banya in advance). It is best to cool the body down with a bath in the nearby pond, and then you can try a natural peeling or massage. - We have an eco vegetable garden in Helenów: gardens and vegetable cultivation are our passion! We invite you to compose your own vegetable plates for breakfast. Vegetable planting workshops are planned as soon as circumstances allow. – Our private forest covers 4 hectares, and besides, we border the Ługi Helenowskie nature reserve. You can walk here and be intoxicated with the resinous smell of pine from morning to evening. – If you like fishing, then fishing rods in hand. There are two fisheries in the area. – In our immediate vicinity you can observe birds, swallows, foxes, elk and wild boars. We also cooperate with local guides who will show our guests around the reserve - be sure to ask for details when booking. We wouldn't be ourselves if we didn't personally check and organize this attraction for you as well. For the slightly more active, we also have something: – If you love two wheels, you will be in paradise. There are plenty of both wild MTB trails and flat road routes with limited traffic in our area. All on almost pristine forest areas. You can also discover the richness of nature on an unusual bicycle educational path. Be sure to ask us about the best trails, because in cooperation with cycling teams based in the area, we have prepared a selection of the most interesting routes for you. We also ride both road and MTB. And if you train triathlon, we'll tell you a secret: there is no better place for bookmark training than our settlement. – There are off-road routes in the vicinity, so fans of off-road motorcycles and 4×4 cars can now rub their hands. Some of the routes have been included in the official guide "Guide 4×4 Bałtów and around" (waiting in our library). And if you have any questions about interesting motorcycle routes, feel free to write in e-mails, we will tell you what is worth seeing and where to go, because we ride ourselves. – In the summer, we recommend the swimming pool at the Górny Staw reservoir. In Pionki they have a beautiful beach, there is also a wake park, a splash park, sailboats, pedal boats and kayaks at the bathing beach. The whole complex is brand new and admission is free. The complex also has a restaurant with a beautiful view of the lagoon, where you can try a good pizza. This place is a paradise for kids - we recommend it from our own experience. But if you are triathletes and swimrunners, you will surely appreciate them for other reasons as well.
