Have you ever listened to the stories of your grandparents with bated breath, imagined how people used to live in a completely different way, and thought in their minds that I might ever experience it again? For us, this was the impulse to build a place where this dream comes true. We are a couple from Liptov who, by providing experiential accommodation, try to fulfill, perhaps often, unfulfilled dreams from childhood. For example, living in a tree house and waking up directly in the treetops. However, the main idea of this project is to preserve the heritage of our ancestors. Breathe new life into an old wooden house, which has undergone a reconstruction under our hands and the hands of our loved ones so that everything essential is preserved, only adapted for constant use and for your perfect comfort. No television, no internet, just the charm of peace and urgency, the traditions and modesty of ancient days. This is exactly what the wooden house in the picturesque village of Komjatná in Liptov hides in, where you can try how people used to live. Where, instead of scrolling social networks, you can pick up a needle and melt your imagination into canvas embroidery. Where you can read something from old books, prepare lunch in the traditional way - on asparagus, or play a lot of board games with your loved ones, in peace to the sounds of wood cracking in a simple oven. We invite you to survive this story in our wooden house.
