This house was built by nuns. Like classic Sudeten houses, it has a gable roof and a granite ground floor, because it grows from a slope hanging over the river. When the Germans erected buildings in this area, they made sure to maintain their viewing axes, i.e. to locate them to the north and south - with a priceless view of the Karkonosze Mountains. Just like the nuns 100 years ago, you will wake up to the landscape of forests and mountains outside the window and the sound of water flowing below. However, our house has a modest Evangelical past behind it, because today we invite you here for a comfortable rest. There is a jacuzzi on the terrace among the trees, and a summer kitchen right next to it, so that nothing will stop you from enjoying yourself. We have 5 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a wooden table in the dining room, which we can set and decorate for your arrival. We are for groups - for family holidays, an unforgettable hen party in slow rhythm or a round anniversary. Instead of asceticism, we offer bubbles in a glass and a tub, a lavishly set table and blissful moments in good company.
Oto.Widoki is located in the quiet, upper part of Szklarska Poręba, above the Bieleń River. Słowackiego Street runs above us and is not busy. Every now and then you can hear a train from the nearby railway line. You can go down the stairs below the house to the river flowing below.
You can admire the beautiful view from the living room, terrace and one of the 5 double bedrooms.

The Karkonosze Mountains are called the Polish Alps. They are famous for hurricane winds and frequent weather changes, but also for 150 amazing rock formations, mountain lakes and glacial cirques. The Chronicles of Narnia were filmed here, the peaks are looked after by Liczyrzepa, and in the shelters you can drink delicious hot chocolate and eat blueberry pancakes.
The unique tourist attractions in our area include:
– Śnieżne Kotły, i.e. glacial cirques and a great viewpoint,
– Wielki Szyszak, the second peak of the Karkonosze Mountains,
– Polana Jakuszycka, which is a paradise for cross-country fans, and during the run you can even meet Justyna Kowalczyk,
– Jakuszyce Glassworks, a great attraction for both children and adults.
– Szklarka Waterfall, probably the most photographed place in Szklarska Poręba and perfectly prepared for tourists' visits,
– Crocus Reserve in Górzyniec, best to visit in early spring.
– Bobrowe Skały, attractive especially for climbing enthusiasts.
– Wang Temple.
– Ski slopes in the border town of Harrachov.
– The Palace in Staniszów and the captivating Pakoszów Palace, which you must see.
A well-developed network of tourist trails in the city and the surrounding area (almost 100 km of marked tourist trails) and the proximity to chairlifts and T-bar lifts located in the mountains create very good conditions for practicing a variety of tourism all year round.
You can also have fun cycling. You can choose the route depending on your fitness, willingness and skills, e.g. the 9-kilometer Three District Connector or the difficult 50-kilometer Cogeneration Route, which leads through the Karkonosze and Jizera Mountains. You can also hit the middle and go 20 kilometers on the Large Szklarska Pętla.
Jakuszyce needs no introduction to cross-country skiers. Those who have already mastered the technique can try their hand at the Piast Run, and beginners can start learning with an instructor and, after an hour of training, take the route to the beautiful Orle shelter. The effort and failures (the beginnings are sometimes difficult) will be rewarded with pancakes with chocolate.
After returning from your trip to the Karkonosze Mountains, it's time to relax on the terrace. Stretching your legs on a deckchair, reading a book, bonfire, taking a nap with the sound of the river flowing downstream.
And your tired body can be treated to a session in a hot tub with a jacuzzi. If possible, we will try to warm it up for your arrival (it is heated with an external stove), and your tasks will include keeping the fire burning while using the hot tub. The attraction is included in the price of your stay.
