How many couples do you need to visit Paara? Not much if you find out that it is a village in Roztocze. Here it is worth dropping by, for example, for a weekend, to breathe the forests, row the Tanja in a canoe, listen to the noise of several dozen noises (waterfalls) and feel the wind in a singletrack helmet. We warn you that the weekend trip may be a bit longer. We come from Roztocze and despite the life paths that have led us here and there, we are always drawn to our homeland. And each time this return results in delight. Precisely because we are coming back here like a boomerang, we decided to create a safe haven for ourselves and for you. The house where my grandfather lived for almost 100 years (95 to be exact) is an integral part of the Harbor. We added a glazed space to it, leaving old beams, worn-out wood and the echo of the melody from the grandfather's harmonica. The old soul blends perfectly with the grandchildren's vision. The high mezzanine looks like it has always been here. A bathtub feels at home here, a modern kitchen can be used to recreate old recipes.

We invite you to our house in Roztocze. We have 185 m2 of space for you, high spaces, large glazing, a fireplace, a 6-meter mezzanine, 5 cozy bedrooms and a bathroom - with a bathtub and a shower.
On the ground floor there is an open 50-meter living room with a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area. The house has 5 bedrooms. The bedrooms have double beds 90x200, which are usually joined together to give an area of 180x200, with high, comfortable mattresses. There are also desks, wardrobes and fold-out sofas that act as an extra bed. One room is slightly different from the others, it is glazed and has a fold-out sofa, so you can use it as an independent study or bedroom.
Two bathrooms have showers, one in addition to the shower also has a bathtub. So you will be able to arrange a mini spa, take your favorite bath salt.
The house is designed for 12 adults, it is possible to arrange extra beds for 2 people.
Outside, you will find a relaxation area with a jacuzzi, a roofed barbecue area with large tables, a fireplace and a playground for children. In the barn you can rest on the hay or play with the kids looking for a needle in a haystack.

A kitchenette with an island, open to the living room, is equipped with a refrigerator-freezer, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave oven, an espresso machine, a set of pots, tableware. The table in the living room can accommodate 8 people.

Canoeing trips on Tanwia (Kajaki Susiec), which are 2 minutes by car from the Marina. The Tanew is a wonderful river. Wider than Wieprz and more interesting - winding, flowing with beautiful landscapes of Roztocze (fallen trees, beaver dam, noises, shoals), shallow, so it is safe even with children. The Paara– Szumy route will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours. paddling and having fun. It's better to go kayaking during the week. Lots of people on weekends.
Bicycles in Roztocze are an indispensable addition to relaxation. On two wheels you can go around all the beautiful forests, waterfalls, trails, singletrack. The Józefów singletrack is only 13 km away from us, so do not even hesitate, sit in the saddle and hit the track. Mega picturesque route, among beautiful forests, but don't be fooled by the inscription on the board, it is difficult. It has a lot of steep climbs and descents, and its length is 8 km. The route is not marked, but a paved road will lead you all the time.
If you are more efficient on a bike than on foot, you will surely be interested in the annual Roztocze Epic MTB Marathon race. Marathons are held in the most epic locations of Roztocze and the Lublin region throughout the spring and summer season. Look for a convenient time for you and wind for kilometers in mountainous terrain.
Bicycles in Roztocze do not have to be extreme. You can drive flat to the Beech Forest Nature Reserve (8.5 km), to the Minkok Nature Reserve (10.5 km), to the observation tower in Susiec (6.5 km), which, like the vantage point, is at the top of the hill so pedaling uphill is inevitable. But the panorama of the surrounding fields, forests and Solska Primeval Forest from Roztocze is worth the effort. If effort is not your favorite form of rest, you can drive a car to the tower and park it in the parking lot.
You can bike, you can and walk, but you must go on the Szumów Trail. It is a 17 km long hiking trail that starts in Susiec at the railway station and ends there as well, because it is a circular route. The trail leads through the beautiful nature reserve Nad Tanwią and protects the valleys of the Jeleń and Tanew rivers with their small waterfalls. So it will be green with trees, noisy with falling water in 24 waterfalls, sometimes uphill, absolutely beautiful. You can visit any direction, but for less experienced hikers, we recommend visiting the direction to the west. You can then shorten the route a bit (to 12 km) without losing the most interesting parts of the trail.
Did you know that you can see the Bieszczady Mountains from Roztocze? With good visibility from the Huta Różaniecka Embankment, from the top of the Kamienica (304 m above sea level), in addition to the surrounding areas of Roztocze and Podkarpacie, the peaks of the Polish and Ukrainian Carpathians are visible. It is the northernmost place in the Southern Roztocze from which you can see the Bieszczady Mountains. Mała and Wielka Rawki are 150 km away, and you can spot them from here.
In May, in neighboring Susiec, the annual Run over Tanwią 2022 takes place. The competition includes a 10 km Nordic Walking run and march. The route runs through forests, and you can see it on the route.
In terms of culture, music and entertainment, we recommend the CieszFanów Festival, held annually in August in Cieszanów. Rock music, friendly atmosphere, effortless ease and intimacy. We could mention this for a moment longer, but instead, we encourage you to pack your bags and moor at the Roztocze Harbor. We have a 24-ares plot on site, where at your disposal is a gazebo with tables, a barbecue, a place for a fireplace, a terrace with a relaxation zone, with deckchairs, a jacuzzi and a playground for children. An old barn where you can lie down in the hay, shelter your bikes or just sit. Behind the barn there is a place for playing football, lying down, contemplating nature, in peace and quiet, with a view of the fields and meadows.
