At LUBI we have everything anyone likes: forest and sea, laziness and bicycles, coziness and simplicity. Our wooden houses were built in Lubiatów, because this is where we spent the holiday of a lifetime as a child. And more than one. This town has something special about it: maybe it's the hospitality of its inhabitants or the fact that seeing the beach after a long walk through the pine forest makes us feel twice as happy. Lubiatowo is for those who don't mind being 2 km to the seaside, and instead of a waffle with frużelina, they will happily eat a handful (or six) of blueberries from the bush.
There used to be a Dutch trailer on this plot, where we rested with family and friends. And then we thought it would be good to share this place. Our dad is an architect and sculptor, so we asked him to design the houses. Believe it or not, the inspiration came from... a Renaissance palace. Galina's palace has an external cage connecting the buildings, and my father invented a similar one for our houses. We, in turn, had experience building with wood, so we made the buildings natural and age with dignity. There is a slightly artistic atmosphere inside: there are paintings painted by Józek's girlfriend and old books we collect. And together with a group of friends, we take care of the atmosphere of this place. It's simple: at LUBI we are people-loving. Come to us, it will be like in the old photo below.
On Muszelkowa Street in Lubiatowo there are wooden houses, in which our LUBIA apartments are located. There are 8 apartments and you can come to them in different configurations. We have:
- 2-person apartment (36 m²), on the ground floor with a terrace.
- 3 4-person apartments (46 m²), on the ground floor with a terrace.
- 6-8-person apartment (76 m²), on the first floor with a balcony.
- 6-8-person apartment (76 m²), on the first floor with a balcony.
- 6-9-person apartment (79 m²), on the first floor with a balcony.
- 6-9-person apartment (79 m²), on the first floor with a balcony.
All have separate entrances, have been comfortably and cozily furnished. There are all the amenities so that during your vacation you can really be on vacation and not worry about anything. So when you come to us, you will find towels, a hair dryer, a clothes dryer and a wireless speaker waiting for you. We have TVs and WiFi.
Each apartment has its own terrace with chairs and a table. There are also deckchairs that you can use on the premises. And in each room you will find a picnic basket for seaside picnics.
The houses were designed by Mr. Grzegorz, an architect and sculptor, the father of Filip and Józek. You may be surprised, but his design was inspired by... the facade of the palace. And because the whole family appreciates the quiet, forest area of Lubiatowo, and in addition, the guys used to have a company specializing in building from wood, LUBIA had to be made of wood. It is a combination of ingenious architecture with the desire to create a place that draws from the values of the landscape. The natural facade of the houses is covered only with oil impregnation and ventilated. And it will age well.
And by the way, the houses are on our plot 4. LUBIA has been operating for 3 years.
We are not in a completely remote area, even though the surroundings are very quiet. There is currently construction going on next to us. The neighbors have already done the hardest work, so there will be no big noise, but you may hear something or come across a crew behind the fence.
Important: we love animals, so feel free to take them on vacation with us - they rest for free. All dogs and cats are welcome!
Each of the apartments has a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The nearest market is 8 km from us, so you'd better do some shopping along the way so that you don't have to organize a trip when you run out of an ingredient. And if you don't feel like cooking, below we recommend some restaurants where they feed well.
You can get bored here, but you don't have to. We love Lubiatowo precisely because you can relax here, but you can also organize your time actively. Who likes whatever. In the cottages you can:
– relax with a book on a deckchair,
– spend afternoons on the terrace chatting over wine,
– play board games,
– relax in the evenings by the fireplace
– in winter, go sledding, which we have for you.
In addition, the classics of Lubatów holidays await you:
– Walks to the beach. First you walk a bit through the village and then through a pine forest. The beach is wide and wonderfully empty in the off-season. Be sure to go to the Lubiatowska Dune, through which there is a pleasant nature trail. The route can be covered on foot or by bike. On the viewing platforms you can feast your eyes on postcard landscapes.
– Berry and mushroom picking trips. There are so many berries in the forests of Lubiatowo that you can pick them in handfuls and your sweet tooth will be satisfied. And autumn in this area is fun for mushroom pickers.
– Bicycle trips along the Euro Velo 10 trail – we would like to inform lovers of two wheels that this over 400-kilometer long seaside trail runs near our area and is worth going for a ride. The route is not demanding, you can easily hike it with kids.
– Trip to the Słowiński National Park. We are 40 minutes away by car. And in the park – dunes again, but what dunes! Those in the park are the largest moving strip of dunes in Europe. They can move up to several meters during the year. The largest of them all is the Łącka Dune.
– “Ghostly Forest” in Czołpin. You have to see it with your own eyes! On the local beach there are the remains of a flooded forest from 3,000 (!) years ago, which was exposed by the Baltic Sea a few years ago after one of the storms. It is not known how long it will be possible to see the remains of the ancient forest, because the water level in the sea is constantly rising. So you'd better hurry up and get going - it's about 1 hour from Lubiatowo.
– Stilo Lighthouse – it is quite popular during the season, so we encourage you to visit it, especially outside of it. You can get there from Lubiatowo by car, but you can also ride a bike. There is a pleasant walking path around.
– A visit to the Ciekocinko Palace – we recommend this to lovers of historical architecture and horse riding. The palace from 1908 has been thoroughly restored, and the entire manor and park part, with its historic park, is truly impressive. The interiors make you feel like you're in Downton Abbey. The estate also has a large stud farm with an area where equestrian competitions are held.
-Order a sauna by the sea or in our garden - we have a friendly company with a mobile sauna for rent, which will come if you want and for an additional fee they will be able to sauna either directly by the sea or in our area in Lubia.
What’s there for children?
LUBIA likes children! We welcome children and adults. For babies we have a travel cot with bedding, a highchair and a bath tub, we have also installed safety railings on the stairs. You will also find wooden toys, board games and books for children. We also have a playground with a huge sandbox.
Holidays with kids in Lubiatowo is always a good idea. Because here we have the sea, and the forest, and bicycle routes, and a few more horse farms in the area. You can run all the time, organize races to the beach or learn to recognize tree species on the way to the seaside. On the wide Lubiatowo beach you can fly kites and build an impressive sand castle.
And one more key information: in "Jędrusiu" in Słajszewo, apart from horses, they have alpacas. Whoever stroked these fluffy faces knows that there are few better things in the world. All children will agree. And if that wasn't enough for you, you can still go to the ostrich farm in Kniewo.
What’s there for employees?
We have a desk in the large apartments, and there is wifi in each apartment.
