There are plenty of places around us worth visiting, but we assume you won't want to go anywhere anyway. You'll enjoy the morning sunrays, birds singing, whispering of the lake. In the evenings the starry sky will look directly to your hot tub. Pure relax, no rush. For our part, we have made every effort to ensure that you do not lack anything. No matter if it's winter or summer, sunshine or rain, you will find here ideas for spending your time - and a cosy and quiet place to escape from the city.

However, if anyone would like to explore the surroundings, you should know that we have a perfect location. The village of Dvarčėnai is surrounded by lakes on both sides, the city of Alytus is just 20 minutes away by car. To the west we have the scenic Meteliai park, in the northern direction - the picturesque loops of the Nemunas. In the south - Druskininkai resort, Merkinė castle, beautiful Dzūkija National Park, while in the east - Vilnius and Trakai. In other words, all the sights of the region are within easy reach.

You will find Dvarčėnai cottages right by Lake Suvingis, surrounded by a small forest. The trees separate our plot from the neighboring buildings, there is also a sufficient distance between the cottages themselves, which ensures peace and privacy for our guests. On the shore of the lake, next to the cottages, you will not meet any unauthorized persons - it is used only by our guests.

We rent two cottages - a double (one floor) and a quadruple (with a steep staircase to the attic, where you will find a wide double mattress). Both cottages have private shower rooms and toilets. The kitchenette includes a fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Also working from home is enabled by fast wi-fi. We do not have a TV and air conditioning.

We welcome guests all year round - the cottages are heated.
If you want to bring a pet with you, please let us know in advance.

We do not provide food, but the cottages have a kitchenette and a barbecue for self-catering. The nearest food stores are in Daugai and Alytus.

What does a meaningful weekend in Dvarčėnai look like?

Friday arrival, chilling in the hammock or on the terrace, swimming in the lake, bonfire and barbecue. The shore of the lake is private, so nothing will interfere with your rest.
Saturday - Boating, book, board games and sauna or hot tub (for an extra charge).
Sunday - a lazy morning, a walk along the lake shore and a trip home to visit regional parks or an ethnographic holiday in Merkinė.

In winter, the plan would be a little different, but the cottages will always be waiting for you to be warm and cozy.

We accept families with children in a larger cottage. When arriving with the little ones, it should be taken into account that a steep staircase leads to the attic, and there is also a raised unfenced terrace.
