We are behind the dunes, behind birches, in the vapors of iodine and wood. In Lubiatów, which, although between Dębki and Łeba, is also 2.5 km from the sea, and therefore the intrusive Baltic tourism is reluctant to come here. Our Brzozowy Gaj stands here, with houses straight from the hygge textbook, where many even managed to rest while relaxing with children.
We are childish and childlike. We have a backyard play corner, a lot of amusement for children and the desire that every parent would drink warm coffee with us. Come to us for walks in the forests of Lubiatów and bicycle tours along the EuroVelo 10 route. Come to the wide beach with a secluded corner even in high season. For picking with a stick in the sand, collecting cones and evenings with crackling fire in the goat. We are for parents seeking peace and kids who will see the sea for the first time.
There are four cottages. Three for guests, one for the hosts. They are the same from the outside, but hide slightly different interiors. So we have a Boho, Rustic and Scandinavian cottage. Choose the one whose aesthetic appeals to your heart the most. Only if you want to come with a pet, choose a Scandinavian or Rustic house - animals can only live in them.
Downstairs you will find a living room connected to the kitchen and dining room, a bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed and a cot for a small child, and next to it a mezzanine with a children's corner. In addition, each of the cottages has an external terrace with wooden benches and a table and a deckchair, where morning coffee goes like gold.
Our cottages stand on the edge of a birch grove, and the area where they are located is fenced. So you can let the kids run wild and calmly watch them from the terrace. We also have a play area in the yard - swings, hammocks, an atmospheric children's house and a sandbox with seaside sand.
In Brzozowy Grove, everyone eats what they cook themselves. We have well-equipped kitchens where you can prepare your favorite meals. You will also drink delicious coffee from the coffee maker.
Seasonal grocery stores are a stone's throw away, but in winter you will have to drive 7 km to the market. And if you don't feel like cooking, we recommend a few restaurants below.
Boredom sometimes comes to our houses and we welcome it here with open arms. This is a place where you come to walk in the dunes, breathe in the smell of the forest, and in the evening, with a crackling goat, sit together and talk. In a word - family relaxation with time together and time for yourself.
The cottages offer cozy, refined interiors and home terraces to relax in. We have a library for adults and children, as well as board games. And when it comes to enjoying the charms of the area, we offer the following repertoire:
– Walks to the beach. First you go through the village itself, and then through the pine forest. The beach is wide and wonderfully empty in the off-season. Be sure to go to the Lubiatowska Dune, through which there is a pleasant nature trail. The route can be covered on foot or by bike. On the viewing platforms you can feast your eyes on postcard landscapes.
– Trip to the Słowiński National Park. We are 40 minutes away by car. And in the park – dunes again, but what dunes! Those in the park are the largest moving strip of dunes in Europe. They can move up to several meters during the year. The largest of them all is the Łącka Dune.
– “Ghostly Forest” in Czołpin. You have to see it with your own eyes! On the local beach there are the remains of a flooded forest from 3,000 (!) years ago, which was exposed by the Baltic Sea a few years ago after one of the storms. It is not known how long it will be possible to see the remains of the ancient forest, because the water level in the sea is constantly rising. So you better hurry up and get going - it's about 1 hour from Lubiatowo.
– Stilo Lighthouse – it is quite popular during the season, so we encourage you to visit it, especially outside of it. You can get there from Lubiatowo by car, but you can also ride a bike. There is a pleasant walking path around.
– Euro Velo 10 bicycle trail – lovers of two wheels, we would like to inform you that this over 400-kilometer long seaside trail runs near our area and is worth going for a ride. The route is not demanding, you can easily hike it with kids.
-And in the evening, an hour-long session in the dry sauna, alternating with a cold outdoor shower.
(2 electric bikes, a 1-seater bicycle trailer and 1 SUP available for rent.)
What’s there for children?
We wholeheartedly invite you to spend your vacation with your little ones. We are a child-loving and child-friendly place. We have everything you need to keep your kids occupied – I think you’ll even be able to drink a warm cup of coffee a few times. There are books, toys, blocks. There’s even a corner with a mini-kitchen, where you’ll find more than one plush carrot.
And in addition to that, the attractions include walks to the forest in search of the best pine cones, running around Lubiatowo dunes and soaking your feet in the sea when the water temperature is bearable. It’s possible that another family with children will be resting nearby and there will be an opportunity to make friends in the backyard.
There are three stud farms in our area, so if you fancy a little hopsasa, hippotherapy is within reach. The same goes for alpaca therapy, because in “Jędruś” in Słajszewo, in addition to horses, these fluffy wonders live. You can watch ostriches in Kniewo, at the ostrich farm.
From the practical side: the stairs in our houses are wide and secured with gates. We will lend you a bathtub, a wooden cot with bedding and a highchair for feeding free of charge, just let us know when booking that you need them.
What’s there for employees?
In each of our houses, next to the kitchenette, there is a wooden table with a bench and a comfortable sofa. It is from there that you can command from a portable office during your stay. On the mezzanine there is a second sofa where, in addition to sending e-mails, you can enjoy the beautiful view wrapped in a soft blanket. On the terrace, from which you can admire the wall of trees of the surrounding forest, there is a wooden table. It is your decision which of these places you will arrange for your mobile office.
