Lubiatowo. Hidden in the quietest corner of the Baltic Sea, a tiny, peaceful village.
Ideal for those who love walks in the pine forest and bike rides to the sea. After all, what could be nicer than relaxing in the scent of wood with lungs full of iodine?
Ideal also for parents who want carefree, lazy holidays for their little ones, and we are prepared for visits from the youngest, sensitive travelers. We have a backyard play area, a garden full of flowers and fresh vegetables, and the desire for every parent to drink warm coffee with us.
Because in the morning you can send your offspring for fresh chives for scrambled eggs or a bouquet of flowers for mom, while brewing aromatic coffee.
Everything picked by little hands from our garden. This is pure love and joy in the eyes of a child!
In these circumstances, our Brzozowy Gaj is located, full of a cozy atmosphere and rustic accents, as well as ideas on how to spend a beautiful time with children.
Travelers hungry for excitement and commercial attractions do not visit here.
Sensitive people, introverts and nature lovers visit us.
Come to us for walks in the Lubiatowo forests and bike trips along the EuroVelo 10 route. Come to the wide beach, where even in the season you will find a secluded corner. For walks on the dunes, digging in the sand with a stick, collecting pine cones and evenings with a fire crackling in the stove.
We are for parents looking for peace and children who may see the sea for the first time.
See you in Brzozowy Gaj!
There are four cottages. Three for guests, one for the hosts. They are the same from the outside, but hide slightly different interiors. So we have a Boho, Rustic and Scandinavian cottage. Choose the one whose aesthetic appeals to your heart the most. Only if you want to come with a pet, choose a Scandinavian or Rustic house - animals can only live in them.
Downstairs you will find a living room connected to the kitchen and dining room, a bathroom and a bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed and a cot for a small child, and next to it a mezzanine with a children's corner. In addition, each of the cottages has an external terrace with wooden benches and a table and a deckchair, where morning coffee goes like gold.
Our cottages stand on the edge of a birch grove, and the area where they are located is fenced. So you can let the kids run wild and calmly watch them from the terrace. We also have a play area in the yard - swings, hammocks, an atmospheric children's house and a sandbox with seaside sand.
In Brzozowy Grove, everyone eats what they cook themselves. We have well-equipped kitchens where you can prepare your favorite meals. You will also drink delicious coffee from the coffee maker.
Seasonal grocery stores are a stone's throw away, but in winter you will have to drive 7 km to the market. And if you don't feel like cooking, we recommend a few restaurants below.
When boredom creeps in, we welcome it here with open arms. This is a place where you come to walk the dunes, inhale the scent of the forest, and in the evening, to sit together and chat while the goat crackles. In a word - family rest with time together and time for yourself.
Relaxation in the cottages is facilitated by cosy, refined interiors and terraces by the house. We have a library for both adults and children, as well as board games. And when it comes to enjoying the charms of the area, we suggest the following repertoire:
- Walks to the beach. First, you go through the village itself, and then through the pine forest. The beach is wide, and before the season it is wonderfully empty. Be sure to go to the Lubiatowska Dune, through which a pleasant nature trail leads. The route can be covered on foot or by bike. On the viewing platforms, you will feast your eyes on postcard landscapes.
- A trip to the Słowiński National Park. It is 40 minutes away by car. And in the park – dunes again, but what dunes! The ones in the park are the largest moving belt of dunes in Europe. They can move even a dozen or so meters during the year. The largest of them all is the Łącka Dune.
– “Ghostly forest” in Czołpino. You have to see it with your own eyes! On the local beach there are remnants of a flooded forest from 3000 (!) years ago, which a few years ago after one of the storms the Baltic Sea exposed. It is not known how long it will be possible to see the remnants of the ancient forest, because the water level in the sea is constantly rising. So you better hurry up and get going – from Lubiatowo you have about 1 hour's drive.
– Stilo Lighthouse – it is quite popular in the season, so we encourage you to visit especially outside of it. You can drive from Lubiatowo, but you can also go by bike. There is a pleasant walking path around.
– Euro Velo 10 Cycling Trail – we would like to inform cycling enthusiasts that this over 400-kilometer coastal trail runs close to our area and is worth taking a ride. The route is not demanding, you can easily do it with children.
-And in the evening, an hour-long session in a dry sauna alternating with a cold outdoor shower.
What’s there for children?
We wholeheartedly invite you to spend your vacation with your little ones. We are a child-loving and child-friendly place. We have everything you need to keep your children occupied – I think you will even be able to drink a warm coffee. There are books, toys, blocks. There is even a corner with a mini-kitchen, where you will find more than one plush carrot.
And in addition to this, the attractions include walks to the forest in search of the best pine cones, running on Lubiatowo dunes and soaking your feet in the sea when the water temperature is bearable. It is possible that another family with children will be resting nearby and there will be an opportunity to make friends in the backyard.
There is a stud farm in our area, so if you dream of a little hopsas, hippotherapy is within reach. The same as alpaca therapy, because in “Jędruś” in Słajszewo, in addition to horses, these fluffy wonders live. You can watch ostriches in Kniewo, at the ostrich farm.
From the practical side: the stairs in our houses are wide and secured with gates. We will lend you a bathtub, a wooden cot with delicately scented bedding and a highchair for free, just let us know when booking that you need them.
What’s there for employees?
In each of the cottages, next to the kitchenette, there is a wooden table with a bench and a comfortable sofa. This is where you can command from a portable office during your stay. On the mezzanine, there is a second sofa, where, in addition to sending emails, you can enjoy the beautiful view wrapped in a soft blanket. On the terrace, from which you can admire the wall of trees of the surrounding forest, there is a wooden table. It is up to you to decide which of these places you will arrange for your mobile office.
