This place is without a doubt an alternative tourism. The only thing it has in common with standard accommodation is the presence of a roof overhead, except that the roof itself at our place is round and with a window in the very center. Electric light is replaced by candles, instead of a bath we have a pond. As an alternative to Wi-Fi, we have strong connections with nature, and the news of the day is announced by birds and the crackling of the fire in the fireplace. We also have completely different goals: we not only care about accommodating our guests, we also want to help them experience what is most important - inner peace.

We had been looking for this place for a long time. We wanted it to be surrounded by dense forest and lakes all around. So that civilization would be within reach, yet remain imperceptible. We found such a plot of land near Lake Netečius, just 1.6 km from the Alytus - Valkininkai road and about 60 minutes by car from Vilnius. Then there followed countless hours of visualization, discussion, idea generation. Even more hours of building, designing, hundreds of screws! And finally our first yurt is ready to receive guests.

Lapiland is not only an exotic accommodation, it is first and foremost an experience. A conscious ritual of stopping time. A place of inspiration. And we just want to share all this with you.

The yurt is cozy for two or a solo traveler - perfect for a romantic getaway or a solo retreat! There is a fireplace where you can sleep safely, a table with chairs and a kitchenette.

The tent is protected from low temperatures by ecological sheep felt, the walls of which we insulated. It warms in winter and cools the environment in summer, as well as compresses and evaporates moisture. As we know from Mongolian experience, wool improves the quality of sleep, and even allergic people do not feel any unpleasant symptoms. We provide our guests with firewood and warm blankets. If you are very sensitive to the cold, you can bring warm clothes, but we know from experience that sleeping in a yurt is cozy and warm, like a wool cocoon.

The yurt does not have water, sewage or electricity, but you will find other solutions that allow you to live comfortably off-grid.

>> The interior is lit by candles and solar lanterns.
>> There is a water tank with a tap in the kitchen, and we also always leave 15 liters of drinking water for guests - for food and washing.
>> It is heated with wood, and there is also a gas stove.
>> Swimming is possible in the nearby pond during the warm season, so we invite guests to come for a few days, as long as they can tolerate being without a shower. However, for those who want to swim - we recommend ordering a massage hot tub!
>> In the future, we plan to install solar panels and a water well - then we will have a shower with hot water.
>> There is no internet either, and the phone connection is what you usually get in the deep woods. We recommend surrendering yourself to the hands of nature!

We welcome guests with children and pets - there will be room for everyone.

You can cook on the barbecue terrace, firewood is available on site. If the weather does not allow it, we cook inside on a gas stove. We do not have a water supply, but we leave 15 liters of drinking water for guests - for washing dishes, bathing or drinking. If you see that you will need more - please bring it. And if it takes time - you will find a store nearby, a few minutes by car.

We're all used to convenience, so living off-grid can seem very challenging at first. We will not leave you alone, we will tell you what to do, we will share our experience. And be sure that the experience you will get is priceless! Thanks to her, we realize how grateful we have to be even for seemingly self-evident things - warmth, hot water, a roof over our heads.

Our very clear, purified mission is to help people regain their inner balance through a restored connection with nature, to touch their inner world. DZUKIJA NATIONAL PARK
We are twenty kilometers from Varėna and forty - from Dzūkija National Park. You can set aside a day for a trip around the park, where you will see authentic houses of the Dzūkija region with still-living shoulders, carved shutters and wonderful verandas. Pass through the ethnographic villages Kriokšli, Zervynas, Lynežeris, Kašėtas. Stop by to admire the Čepkelės ridge, the impressive cliffs of the Łola river. For those planning a hike around the park, we recommend the Trenktur and OutdoorActive applications, which navigate along selected routes and show routes created by other hikers. WATER
Lapiland is built near Lake Netetis and two ponds that stay fresh and cool even in the hot summer, so you will have a place to swim.

MASSAGE TUB
For those who want special experiences, we recommend ordering a massage tub for an additional fee. We will deliver it right outside the yurt. You will heat up to the desired temperature, and you will be able to enjoy the heat of the water almost 24 hours a day.

DIGITAL DETOX
We don't have electricity or internet, but that doesn't stop us from spending time meaningfully, together with our loved ones, disconnecting from everyday worries and news. There you will find books for cozy evenings. For complete relaxation, you can order breathing sessions, meditations and cocoa ceremonies (ask the Hosts).

We accept families with children. Children who do not need an extra bed and sleep with their parents are accepted for free.
