When Denisa was born, the judges had to give her a big heart, courage, and a good deal of determination. And according to us, the parish packed it there as well. Not just any one, but right here from Zdoňov. From the 18th century.

She got involved in her and Peter's life in 2009. And all this is due to (un) ordinary stairs. When Denisa first walked after them, she knew this was exactly IT. The judges worked and it was love for the first step. And the first look. It didn't matter that all that was left of the rectory after the turbulent past was the building. Without a proper roof, water and electricity. Destroyed and stolen from everything that used to be here ...

Since then, her ideas about life in the village began to take shape and Denisa and Petr moved here from Prague. From the first steps down the old stairs to the present day, the family has grown to include another member, horses, dogs and cats. And because determination and a clear goal act as a magnet, a community has formed around the pair and they have set out to save the neighboring church. But they will be happy to tell you about it when you get there.

Here you can truly enjoy God's peace and quiet.

Of course, everything had to be reconstructed first. And so Denisa and Petr decided to build a cozy apartment for guests in this rare rectory from the 18th century. It is newly renovated and overlooks the pasture.

APARTMENT

It has two parts - kitchen and bedroom.
Here you will find 3 beds in a bedroom with renovated antique furniture. For an additional fee, it is possible to prepare extra beds for another 2 people.
The apartment also has a bathroom with a shower.

In the apartment you have a fully equipped kitchen for yourself (except the oven) so you can cook. There is a great restaurant Kovářova Kobyla in Zdoňov, where you must have a reservation. 

FARA AND CHURCH

It is clear to us that the main attraction for you will be the Arpašsko-Teplice rocks and rock towns.
But try to start from the rectory and the church. They have a really rich history and stories that will draw you into a not so distant world from the past.
Ask your hosts boldly. They may tell you about the last pastor who lived here, about the torso of the monument he had built here, and what he will be 100 years old. About the angels in the church, or about the events they create here to save the rare church.

ADRŠPAŠSKÉ ROCKS

Enter another world. For a moment, find yourself in a fairy tale created by nature and ruled by rock giants. Take a tour of the rock town in the Adršpach Rocks. It is 3.5 km long and is also suitable for families with small children. Once there, you may be allowed to take a cruise on the lake or go off the hiking trails and go behind the rock castle Adrspach and views of the surroundings.

TEPLICAL ROCKS

Of these, the sledge will fall to the ground as well as of the Adrspachs. The tourist circuit here is already 6 km long and in comparison with it in Adršpach Rocks it is also more physically demanding and is not possible for prams or wheelchairs. You can get here from the Adršpach Rocks via Vlčí rokli (4 km and elevation gain) or from the town of Teplice nad Metují. And if you haven't heard of the Temple or Martin Walls, we think that will definitely change. And maybe here in the part called Siberia you will come across snow in the summer.

In any case, don't forget to put on proper shoes and pack warm clothes in your backpack. You will be a natural "air conditioner" so that you do not feel cold.

ADRENALINE AND WHEELS

If you don't have enough caffeine in your blood but needs a dose of adrenaline, you can try rock climbing. If you are a total pro, super - Denisa and Peter can give you a few tips, because they enjoy rock climbing themselves. And if you are a newcomer, bet on a guided climbing course, where you will be introduced to the secrets of this challenging sport.

The children will be fine here. If you want to meet the four-legged pets who have their home here, ask the hosts.
What's more, it's up to you. But be sure to take them to the Rock City and show them where their favorite fairy tales were filmed. Some places are inaccessible for mothers with prams and wheelchairs, because you have to climb the ladders to get a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. However, a trip to the rocks to the lake is accessible. We definitely recommend the views from where you can see the famous rock landmarks. You will not regret.
