Fejny Dom

Fejny Dom stands on a picturesque viewing plot by Lake Dadaj. It will be appreciated by all those who appreciate peace and quiet, long for clean air, want to rest among meadows, forests and lakes. 4 holidaymakers will be most comfortable here. You can come in 6 people, but then 2 people sleep on a fold-out sofa with a futon in the living room (it is a comfortable Karup Design). At home there are: - a spacious mezzanine with sleeping for 2 people, - lower closed bedroom with a stackable bed (i.e. that it can be used in various configurations: make 2 single beds, 1 double or 1 single and high) - this room will be just right for kids. As standard, we have 4 sets of bed linen and towels. If you plan to visit us with a larger team, please contact us. For your convenience, there is a washing machine in the house. Fejny Dom is open all year round. We have underfloor heating and a fireplace. In the evening, we recommend watching the stars, but we leave at your disposal a Chromecast projector with a Bang & amp; Olufsen speaker. In addition, we invite you not only for holidays, but also for work locations: on the mezzanine, apart from the bedroom, there is a separate space with a work desk with a beautiful view. WiFi flashes at home and there is no problem with the range. We will also add that this house is the realization of our great dream of our own summer house. We designed it ourselves and ensured a high standard of finish. We wanted to fill it with eye-catching items to make your stay here really enjoyable. In the kitchen you will find Luz Ceramics, which my wife Kasia produces in her studio in Andalusia. Estetom will be nice with us. It will also be nice for the animals - we invite you with everyone. Our plot and its vicinity are the perfect place for dog lovers. However, we kindly ask you not to let the animals sleep on the beds.

In the kitchen you will find basic dishes and pots. For coffee lovers, we have a Moccamaster filter coffee machine and a coffee maker. There is also a dishwasher. There is nothing that will allow you to prepare simple meals. There is a small grocery store in our village where you can get basic groceries and even beer from the local brewery. There is also a 24-hour BP station with a shop nearby. In the neighboring Tumiany, we recommend the Folwark Tumiany restaurant with local cuisine and the Zapach Drewna restaurant. It is also worth visiting Wędzarnia Folwarczna Tumiany, where you can buy smoked fish from the local fish farms, including Of the Fisheries Farm in Bartołty Wielkie in Warmia. There is a good food market from local producers in Jeziorany. The Eco Market takes place on Saturdays. There you can buy fresh vegetables and other farm products straight from farmers, including cheese from the Lefevre Owczarnia or honey from Warmian apiaries.

With us, you can be bored or not bored - if you prefer. In the Warmian land of forests and lakes, where we are, the conditions for boredom are ideal. It is worth getting bored with the family, and you can also get bored by two. Picnic in the grass, splashing in the lake, kayaking or boating, and evening barbecues on the terrace. Read books on a deckchair during the day, watch a movie on the projector after the whole day. 250 m from our house there is an intimate beach with a pier. You can meet friends there, it is really secluded. We also have an arrangement with a neighbor whose plot is located in the first line near the lake (we are in the second one) that if he is not there, you can walk through his plot and use his descent to the water. It is mild, but there is no beach, there are trees and grass. In addition, we encourage you to discover a region that has a special place in our hearts. At the campsite in Tumiany, you can rent kayaks and plan a rafting trip or a sightseeing trip around the surrounding lakes and rivers. Our favorite canoeing trip starts from Dadaj Lake. - Dadaj – Tumiany: 13 km A canoe trail runs next to Fejny Dom: Lake Dadaj - n. Dadaj - Klimkowo - Lake Tumiańskie - Tumiany - Lake Pisz -rz. Pisa - Barczewo - n. Pisa - Lake Wadąg - n. Wadąg. For cycling enthusiasts, there are routes with a total length of over 300 km, which lead through charming and interesting places in Warmia. If you intend to visit the cities, the closest ones are Barczewo and Biskupiec. Barczewo Here it is worth visiting the Old Town, seeing historic churches, a synagogue, the Treasury of European Culture (this is an art gallery opened in a former Evangelical church, it hosts concerts, exhibitions and workshops). Biskupiec And here we would pay attention to: · Medieval gothic spatial layout of the old town, Gothic church (it's worth going to the observation tower!), Former town hall, · Gallery of the Biskupiec Land, An exhibition of cameras from the collection of Mr. Wiesław Borowski at the Sorbom House of Creative Work (it is the largest collection of cameras in Poland!), Jacek Idźkowski's sculpting studio - the author of very interesting sculptures, bas-reliefs, carved signboards and interior design, · Stara Kaflarnia - is a restaurant in a former, historic tile factory. The nearest voivodeship city is Olsztyn. In it, it is worth seeing the Old Town, the castle, the counter-cathedral basilica of St. James from the fourteenth century with extremely interesting, late-Gothic architecture or the city beach in Olsztyn, where there are many active attractions.
