Many legends and stories are attached to Bojnice Castle. After all, he looks at it with his appearance. He looks like he fell out of a fairy tale. We will tell you that behind its present appearance is a hidden story of the romantic (albeit unfulfilled) love of the last lord of the castle for the French continent. And even though this story did not end in a happy ending, fortunately for all of us, the last lord did not give up his love for beauty and art and gave the castle its fabulous appearance today.

So let's sum it up - it doesn't matter if you've been there or are just gathering. We have no doubt that the lock will take your breath away from every angle.

And so that you can indulge in this experience (peacefully and again and again), we invite you to join us. To the Retro Apartment. You won't go back as far here as you did when visiting the castle, but at least your design will remind you of times (not) long past. Peaceful as such Pelíšky in a new dress :) But instead of carp in the bath and trying out how long you can stay breathless underwater, you better treat yourself to a relaxing bath throughout the day. And take a deep, deep breath with us.

In a quiet part of town you will find our Retro apartment. We dressed him up really retro. As if you have returned to the last century. We wanted to create a unique atmosphere here to make you feel good. We also cared about the details, so you can also discover folk tiles from the Slovak workshop and beautiful accessories and paintings from other handy hands.

The apartment is spacious and you will find in it:
- kitchen with kitchen unit and all necessary cooking equipment
- living room
- a bedroom with a double bed
- spacious bathroom with bathtub

There are shops where you can shop and there is a bus stop just a few minutes' walk from the apartment, from where you can go to Bojnice. Otherwise by car, you have it from us in about 5 minutes.

The kitchen is fully equipped. So if you are captivated by creative moments during the rest, calmly transform them into something for the eyes and belly of edible.

You will also find basic groceries and a coffee maker if you are an inseparable couple with coffee.

Our Retro apartment is hidden in a quiet area of Prievidza. If you want to indulge in a little lazing, no problem. In the apartment you will find a coffee machine so that those pleasant moments of destruction smell beautiful to you and take a nice bath in the bathtub ... peacefully with champagne and strawberry in a glass :)

TANDEM JUMP AND SIGHTSEEING FLIGHT

A few minutes by car / walk from the apartment is Prievidza Airport - you have a great opportunity to try a tandem jump and enjoy an incredible experience of a lifetime. Believe us, the hormones of happiness will keep you entertained for two weeks after the jump :)

BOJNICE

It is a separate chapter of the beautiful. Even though you may have been to the castle several times, there is still something to admire and gossip about. Just looking at the castle will immediately take you to another world. Then treat yourself to lounging in the sun and catching freckles in the castle park on a blanket. Or sit under King Matej's ancient linden tree, close your eyes for a moment, and move back in time in thought. Or treat yourself to magical evening courtyard tours during the summer season.

Do you want to treat yourself to some beauty time for yourself? So head to Bojnice Spa. And it's up to you whether you want to warm up in warm water or treat yourself to an herbal or salt bath in the sauna. Or go to the mineral springs of healing water ...

You don't want to jump with a parachute, but do you like to see the world from above? So just outside the city is built a lookout tower, which was named Čajka. You can also go hiking to the center of Bojnice. From a height of 30 meters you will have a great view of the surroundings. Otherwise, if you want to come here with children, during the main tourist season (and in good weather) there is a train - Kúpeľný expres (from the Čajka swimming pool under the lookout tower). The lookout tower is also suitable for mothers with small children and a carriage, and near the tower you will also find a few attractions for children: rope park, climbing wall, jump from the platform, wooden castle, various slide swings, climbing frames, fairy houses.

ČIČMANY

If you are a fan of folk architecture, go to the village Čičmany. Painted traditional wooden houses from this area, look like cut out of a fairy tale and baked honeycombs. Go to the Museum on wood painted with exceptional wedding chests or costumes or just let yourself be led behind your nose.

CYCLING

If you are a fan of traveling around nature on two wheels, feel free to take them with you. Directly through the town of Bojnice and in its vicinity there are 3 bike paths with different levels of difficulty:
- Hornonitrianska (Ponitrianska) cycle route - relatively undemanding; red marker
- Bojnice cycle circuit - long and for demanding cyclists; blue marker
- Rokošská radiála - green sign and starts at the sports hall in Prievidza; quite demanding
In the vicinity of Bojnice you will also find routes adapted and specially prepared for cycling trails: Pálffy, Korvínov or Gileth trail. Each of them has a different length and degree of difficulty (you can find them in the forests above Bojnice Castle).

If you would like to come to us with your children, they will have their sleeping area in the living room. But be sure to write to us first and we would know if they will fit us. You can sleep on the sofa bed, and since children are the size of "smaller creatures", they will be comfortable here.

So much for sleeping :) And with your free time do not hesitate to dispose exactly according to your ideas and the ideas of your children. We have no doubt that you will definitely want to take them to the castle and the Zoo, but in Bojnice, or in the vicinity you will find other places worth going.
