There is a forest around and that's all it takes to treat yourself to a proper distance from reality. Right next to the lake, with the wild ones, for soaking your feet from the pier and fishing. Bigger ones, one that you can spread out on a blanket and splash, you have a short bike trip from here. And wherever you look, the gentle hills of Warmia, time flowing at its own pace, nothing to do and little need. Some nice slow food places in the area: local cider, goat cheese, fresh fish and kartacze. And the house: comfortable, pampered, so that it's nice to just be here and spend time with your family or a pack. There is a terrace, barbecue, yoga mats, board games and books for the evenings. People and dogs will rest here. Everyone is their own in Sowia Ostoja.

Here Slowhop will describe your place

We wanted to say hello and tell you whose doing this Sowia Ostoja. Here is our whole family. Let's start with the youngest: ▪ Anika was born in January this year, and snowboarding in Italy and climbing Montaña Rocha in Lanzarote are already behind her, ▪ Pola - migolinka, our sweet girl, she likes diving and eating pasta everywhere, ▪ Lidka - for 12 years on a plane, but she has been pregnant for the last 2 years, now she is embracing the rest of the family :) ▪ Marcin - Mr. MSc, an electrical engineer and I do not know what else, he is building wind farms at sea, and in his free time he fulfills the travel whims of his three women. There is also a mongrel: Leo, the biggest barker, loves the leftovers that fall off the table. And all five of us love to chill in our (and now also yours) Sowia! We will be very pleased to welcome you in our cottage.

Sowia Ostoja stands among the trees in Gamerki Małe in Warmia and does not even have an address. Once you fly there, we will just guide you. We have 6,000 m² of fenced forest plot, where you can rest without worrying about the safety of kids and dogs. The cottage has 2 bedrooms with double beds, so it will be most comfortable for 4 people. But the sofa downstairs in the living room is foldable, so you can also come in 6. This is a place to make a reset from everyday life and enjoy the closeness of nature in the company of your favorite people. Do not plan a labor location with us, because it can be different with the Internet. Come to practice yoga on the terrace, sit by the grill in summer and by the fireplace in winter.

Here Slowhop will describe the sleeping arrangements. If you want, you can also fill it in or edit the text.

We leave cooking to you, but we are calm about you, because we have equipped the kitchen well and comfortably. There is a dishwasher, oven, microwave. You have a coffee maker for your coffee. There is such a trick with the coffee maker: to make it work, you have to ... put it on the plate together with the pot for a while. After a few seconds, you take the pot off and put it back on itself. Don't ask, magic. The happiness of our Warmia location lies in the fact that we have a few words of restaurants in the area where you can eat delicious, locally and seasonally. Therefore, if you do not plan to spend your vacation in the kitchen, you can visit places where ordinary culinary wonders happen: local and ecological. Visit Niwa, a restaurant in an apple orchard run in the spirit of "from farm to fork", Kwaśne Jabłka, an eco-village where you can taste homemade ciders, juices and buy delicious vinegars, or Lavender in Łukta, where you will taste delicious regional cuisine. Delicious goat cheese and artisanal bread are also waiting for you in the near and farther vicinity.

If you want to hide, disconnect and find space for boredom, Sowia Ostoja is the perfect place for it. You will not be overwhelmed by the enormity of attractions in the area, but the closeness of nature and the comfortable finish of the house will bring pleasure and relief. Warmia is a kingdom of peace. There are lakes, but much less than in Masuria, so there are fewer crowds here. However, it does not happen that adventure-hungry slow-hop travelers do not organize their time here. They will just be impressions of a rather unhurried nature. And you can here: - Rest by one of the nearby lakes (Gamerskie, Marąg, Narie or Isąg) - we have beach towels and blankets for you. At Lake Gamerski, we recommend mainly fishing, while you can go to the beach, for example, to Marąg. 2 km from us there is also a wild Forest Lake - be sure to see it. Adults can swim, you have to be careful with kids there. - Pick mushrooms, and we have a lot of these on the plot. Take the baskets and get ready for butter picking in August and September, then cooking delicious with your harvest. - Glide through Warmia on two wheels - using the picturesque Green Velo routes running through this region, for example the Łyna Valley from Bartoszyce to Sępopol or numerous routes around Lidzbark Warmiński. - Visit historical cities and towns: Olsztyn, Olsztynek, Biskupiec, Węgój, Lidzbark Warmiński, Elbląg or Frombork. - Visit the Folk Architecture Museum - Ethnographic Park in Olsztynek. It is an extremely picturesque and interesting open-air museum, one of the most beautiful in Poland. Not only will you see traditional wooden buildings here, you will also drink herbs in the pump room and eat a regional delicacy: potato cake. It's worth dropping by in a week, there are few people. - Take a look at the local galleries: EtnoWarmia Galeria StodołART and Galeria Kawkowo. These are places that radiate good energy and sell the works of local artists. In the first one, workshops and concerts are held, in the second one you can drink coffee in an atmospheric cafe. - Immerse yourself in lavender in the Living Lavender Museum in Nowy Kawkowo - this is an ethnographic educational and workshop stop for our slow-hop neighbors 6 km from here. There you can taste the lavender infusion, learn something about this plant, see the permanent exhibition. The museum and shop are open from May to October.

For kids we have a garden house with a sandpit and swings. In addition, there are well-known Warmian games: fishing with dad, running around the meadows, identifying tree species in the forest. You can run around the house, swing in a hammock and explore the world. We have small children ourselves, so we know what the needs of parents on holiday are. Let us know in advance and we will provide you with baby equipment: a cot or a high chair. However, take into account that there is a mezzanine in the house, and the first floor is accessed via steep stairs. It's best to put those walking kids to sleep downstairs. A baby cot can be placed on the mezzanine to sleep with the parents (that's what we do).

How do I get there?

Our address: , Gamerki Małe, Warmia Region, Poland

Translated by Google Translate.

We don't have an address. The house is located on a recreational plot, so we only have coordinates, plot numbers and our directions :) From the main road connecting Gamerki Wielkie with Kawkowo Stary, turn left into a dirt road, which is at the very end of Gamerki Małe on the devils). Then the first possible left, the first possible right, in 200 meters on the right side is our metal gate. To make it easier: turn left from the main road - between trees on which two white squares are drawn :) Aaaa, if someone is going from the side of Olsztyn, then the other way round, i.e. from the main road, he must turn right between the trees marked with white squares (3 trees behind the sign of Satan 1,2) :)

Niestety niepomocna i dość lekceważąca postawa właściciela zostawiła spory niesmak, dlatego też niezwykle trudno mi ocenić to doświadczenie.

Nic dodać nic ująć do opisu właścicieli.
