In summer, you come to us with a separate stomach for berries, because on the nearby trail to Małe Jasło you wade up to your knees in them. In winter - sit in a Russian banya and warm up with a home-made shakshouka. And regardless of the season: admire the view of the Bieszczady as if painted, meet travelers who love these mountains and draw good energy from a place that we feel as strongly as you do with our famous yeast.

We were lured to Przysłup by our parents, who have been here regularly since the scout camps. They once spent 10 New Year's Eve in a row in the Bieszczady Mountains. In the end, they decided that it was high time to move on to their own and let others come too. They bought land, and Monika and I built a guesthouse on it. We live in the attic, you are in guest rooms below us and we are all here at home. We really care about all the tenants here. Proof? Sometimes, upon arrival, guests ask if they can sleep in our henhouse, because it is so nice. And we say that everyone deserves care, even that bad fluffy hen that looks like an alpaca and pecks all the others. Pack your bags and come and meet her, us and Bambi and Teodor, our cat and pooch. Who knows, maybe you will spend 10 New Years Eve in a row here?

We have a hectare of land here in the High Bieszczady Mountains, at the foot of Mały Jasło, and on it our family guesthouse: the Painted House. It's a large house with quite a number of rooms, so if you're looking for Bieszczady solitude, you may be better off at another address. We welcome people who like people and are sociable.

This does not mean that there is no peace and quiet here - quite the contrary. The village has a permanent population of approximately 30 inhabitants. We are located 700 m from the main road, and social life ends at 10 p.m. We are always on site, so there are no alcoholic parties. Silence is essential.

The guesthouse has 3 levels and on the first two there are rooms for guests, and in the attic we live: Laurent and Monika. There are 13 rooms (from 2 to 4 people) and they range from a comfortable apartment to a more modest, double room. To each according to needs. Details about each of them can be found in the "reservation facilities" section.


Our plot is not small and there is a lot going on here. In addition to the guesthouse, we have 3 guest houses, but you will not find them on Slowhop for now. There is also the above-mentioned hen house, a pen with rabbits, a house with a sauna for you, a hot tub (both attractions are additionally paid) and a barbecue area. When relaxing with us, you will most likely meet other guests in the garden. But because the nicest people from all over Poland come to us, you are lucky to meet them.

The plot is fenced on three sides, and on one side there is a slowly flowing stream - and that's what we love about this place.

Due to our farm animals, a dog and a cat, we invite you to visit us without your animals.

We have such guests who say that they come to us only for these breakfasts. They exaggerate a bit, because we also have other nice things;), but the fact is that the days are greeted first-class with us. Breakfasts are prepared by my wife and mother-in-law, so it's no wonder that they are the tastiest.

The price includes a selection of local products (cheese, cold cuts, vegetables) and something hot, such as pancakes, shakshouka, Turkish eggs, an omelette or other surprise. Eggs, you know, from our lucky cock. And there will be a cake. There is no need to start the day without a cake. Our yeast is said to be worth a special award in the plebiscite for the best yeast.

We do not serve lunches and dinners (unless we are preparing a special offer, e.g. for a picnic) - for them, we send you to several proven restaurants, which we have listed below. You will also have access to a communal kitchen. It is not the hottest in the world, but simple meals can be prepared. We saw guests making dozens of pierogi with blueberries brought from the trail.

We all know very well why you come to the Bieszczady Mountains. If you love the local trails and views, you will be charmed by the surroundings in which our guesthouse is located. And if you ask what we recommend, we would definitely send you:

- To Małe Jasło - along the trail that runs right next to our house. It's unmarked, so we'll guide you. This road is a true berry paradise, so in the summer prepare yourself (practically and mentally) for a rich harvest and food from the bushes in handfuls.

- For a bike - because there are many beautiful routes in the area that will satisfy lovers of two wheels (ask us for details, we will tell you which way to go).

- For observations of the night sky. Our village is located near the Bieszczady Star Park, which is one of the best places to observe the sky in Europe. There is no artificial light in the area that would be responsible for the light smog.

- In winter, go skiing to Kalnica - it is a slope with beautiful views, located 5 km from us. It will be perfect especially for beginners because it is not steep.

- For an expedition along the trail of wooden Bieszczady churches - before the Bieszczady was incorporated into Poland in the 14th century, they were part of Ruthenia. Until today, about 30 wooden churches which the followers of the Orthodox Church built in the villages have survived. If you only have the opportunity, be sure to go see the Orthodox churches, among others in Smolnik, Chmiel, Bystre or Michniowiec (it was this one that appeared in the Wataha series).

- To Lake Solińskie - in the season you can meet a lot of tourists there, but it is a beautiful lake that is worth seeing. Due to the windy conditions (high altitude), it is suitable for sailing and kitesurfing. There are many picturesque hiking and cycling routes around Solina.

- For a trip on the Bieszczady Forest Railway - when in Bieszczady, it is a pity not to take this famous train, the history of which dates back to the end of the 19th century. You can feel a bit like in the Wild West and admire the valleys of Bieszczady from the open carriages. It's a tourist attraction but has a lot of charm.

And when you come back from mountain trails and other excursions, you can just enjoy the time spent here on the spot. Take advantage of the Russian pumpkin, place yourself in a barrel with bubbles, make an evening bonfire or barbecue. We like to be here with our guests and sometimes we spend evenings with you. We exchange stories then. Sometimes friendships are made with such holdings and then you come back not only for these famous breakfasts.

For kids, we have a playground here, peeking combined with stroking our rabbits and collecting eggs from the cock in the morning. There is also a large green area where you can play tag and hide and seek until you drop. Just take into account, please, that there is a stream on one side of our plot and you will have to keep an eye on the children.

In addition, small hikers can enjoy gentle mountain trails, sleigh rides in winter, mushroom picking in autumn and the Bieszczady Narrow Gauge Railway. There will be adventures, frolics and frolics, which my friends in the backyard will talk about for a long time.
