Day after day, the whole world is sweeping through the Witcher Górka. Horses gallop across the pastures, a cat meows in the barn, a kestrel will fly in the wind. On this very hill, on the edge of Turawskie Bory, a house has appeared. It may not be on a chicken's foot, nor is it made of gingerbread, but after all, that's not the magic that's all about. For a witch really means what she knows. And if he wants - and we have - he will pass his knowledge on. After all, it's not a trick to be a witch with evil spells. The real artistry begins when someone under your supervision rides a horse for the first time, learns to recognize the sounds of woodpeckers (although he has thought that woodpeckers are equal to woodpeckers) or learns the secrets of nature photography.
Well, witchcraft, as you know, once they start, nothing will stop them.
Somewhere between Wrocław, Zielona Góra and Poznań, a hill has appeared. A linden alley leads to it, meandering between forests and fields. There is a 4-hectare farm on the hill, in which the house was found a herd of horses, numerous geese, chickens with the Kazimierz rooster at the head, rabbits, goats, sheep, dogs and cats, and even birds of prey, saved by a local association.
Now a new ward has joined this zoo - a wooden house with space for up to 4 guests. Inside, there is a mezzanine as a bedroom (with two mattresses on pallets), a bathroom, a spacious living room (with two fold-out futons), a dining room and an open kitchen.
Here, at sunset, light is dancing tango on the walls.
The witch's kitchen in the cottage allows you to do magic on your own at any level. Fresh eggs and homemade preserves, which you can ask for on the spot, will help the magic.
And when you need a break from magic, you can always drive to Głogów. You will find there, among others Italian, Polish and Asian cuisine.
At the distance of the flight on the broom there are ...
- Polana Grochowicka, where Stachuriads have been held since 1983. After all, it was the work in the forests of Grochowice that inspired Edward Stachura, writing the iconic Siekierezada!
- Stachura's memorial stone, placed in the middle of the forest.
- Grochowice, including the house of 'Grandma Oleńka', where Stachura lived in the winter of 1967.
- Bory Tarnowskie, which is full of traces of history written in boulders, abandoned orchards or tree alleys. Look on the map for: Scots pine, Elephant's Paw oak, Beech King of the Forest, Wanda's grove, Wodna Góra or the Land of a Thousand Oaks.
- Lake Tarnowskie large, Lake Tarnowskie small, Lake Głuchowskie, Lake Błotne and Lake Młyńskie small. Take a towel and swimming trunks to the wild swimming pool (Głuchowskie lake) or the sandy beach in Jodłowo (large Tarnowskie lake).
- Sławskie Lake with the Ptasi Raj viewpoint, the island of cormorants and the Joanna viewing tower. The Sławskie Lakeland is considered to be a bird sanctuary, where, apart from the popular 'general cargo', you can find rarer species such as kingfishers, ospreys and white-tailed eagles. There are also bicycle paths around the lake and water equipment rentals.
And if you want to leave your broom at home ...
- Make an appointment to ride our horses. Forest rallies provide an unforgettable experience!
- Join us on photography and nature trips or join creative workshops on site (e.g. white singing).
- Observe the rural life and get to know our friendly zoo.
What’s there for children?
Children will find themselves with us as well as adults. We encourage you to watch and help with work with the animals living here. Family horse rides are also possible!
If you want to show children how amazing nature can be, ask about the possibility of nature workshops. We regularly work with young people, which is why we give the witch's word that they will not come back from such activities bored.
