A cone trophy to those who have heard about the Bolimów Landscape Park. And maybe it's good that not many, because it is still virgin here and beavers live their own lives, but the region also has miracles to offer that one would like to share. It is here that we created our place: "Patoki. House and forest", and its name directly reflects what is most important here. A house in the forest, where we invite you: for a getaway with a friendly group, family or just for two. Being in the woods and being with yourself. An hour's drive from Warsaw and an hour and a half from Łódź.

We dreamed that we would create an ideal base for discovering the nooks and crannies of the Bolimów Forest. It is comfortable and polished, with good design and a little wine. But we want to encourage you to go outside: to take a forest bath, walk along the Chojnatka valley, and go rafting on Rawa. We work with great people who live in these parts: with passion and extraordinary talents. They will take you on horseback trips, canoeing, and even on photo workshops combined with tracking the traces of wild inhabitants of the forest. Patoki is a place for those who value comfort and good interiors, but it only makes sense for them to be close to nature. Here you will breathe the forest.

We thought that the house in Patoki would be in harmony with nature. Nature looks inside - through large windows, which you open wide in summer to inhale the scent of the forest. We finished it with natural materials. We wanted to take advantage of the values of the environment without interfering with them excessively. We covered the façade with wooden larch shingles, which are harvested in a sustainable manner.

Our forest cabin, as we like to say, stands on 7,000 m² of private forest. The area is surrounded by a wooden fence, which we built from pines obtained during the care of our forest. This fence marks the boundaries of our plot and gives a sense of privacy, but also allows for the free migration of forest animals, which are in the first place in Patoki. Take this into account when planning to come to us with a four-legged friend. The plot is located on the edge of the forest and the nearest buildings are over 400 m away. The Patoki settlement is part of the dispersed village of Wycześniak, where only a few live on a daily basis. So, first of all, it will be you and the forest.

We can accommodate up to 5 people (one will sleep on the sofa downstairs), so it is most convenient to come as a group of four. A family with children or a group of friends.

On the ground floor of the house is a living area with a kitchenette, dining area and fireplace. There are two bedrooms at the top. We also have two bathrooms: one on the ground floor, with a shower, and the other, upstairs, with a bathtub.

Without bragging: we took care of a lot. You can sleep with us on comfortable mattresses and in soft bedding from the Polish brand HOP design. Beautiful, classic games from Printworks will be waiting for you. There are natural cosmetics from Bydgoszcz Soap Factory and craft candles from a friend of the artist. You will also find here some interesting albums about interiors, architecture and good design.

You can combine a small vacation with remote work - we have two workstations: one in the bedroom with a laptop desk, the other at the table in the dining room or, on warmer days, at the table on the terrace. Just remember that the LTE internet that we provide you with sometimes plays tricks and may fail in cloudy weather.

The house has a well-equipped kitchen for self-cooking. And meals prepared and celebrated in the middle of the forest are pure pleasure, so get ready (sic!) for a pleasant experience. There is a small vinotheque with our selection of wines at your disposal, which will make your evenings more pleasant. We also know how important coffee is and that everyone likes it their own way, so you have a choice: brew it in a drip coffee machine, coffee maker, Chemex or drip coffee machine.
In our forest cottage you can feel like in the best restaurant thanks to our Chef - Robert Ornoch. We have prepared three suggestions for you to have together for lunch or dinner:

1. Private Chef - this is an offer for those who value comfort and good fun. Our Chef will come to the forest cottage and prepare a 4-course menu for you live (selected by you in advance), and you will be able to go on a culinary journey of flavors.

2. Culinary Workshops - a combination of live cooking with your active participation in the preparation of a special tasting menu (3 options to choose from). During a 4-5 hour meeting with our Chef, you will prepare as many as four dishes together!

3. Special Saturday dinner - an option available only on Saturdays, but a unique one. The ready lunch (or dinner) will be delivered to the door of our forest cottage, and all you have to do is prepare the plates and celebrate the meal together :)

And 2 more interesting facts. First of all: we have our own craft beer. We produce them at the local Bednary Brewery. Secondly: Bolimowski Landscape Park is famous for its apiaries, because there are many heathlands here. Don't forget to bring a jar of delicious honey with you from your trip.

We have a small mission: we want to show you that the Bolimowska Forest is extraordinary. Few people have heard about the existence of the Bolimowski Landscape Park and know that an hour away from Warsaw and an hour and a half from Łódź, you can see views that will make you tear your jaw off a peat bog. By cooperating with the local community, we want to promote this region a bit, because it has an interesting history, folklore, and extraordinary nature. Our goal is to do it responsibly - our cottage is just a pleasant stop during forest journeys that we want to encourage you to take. In short: you won't be bored here, yes.

A guide will be waiting for you in the house, which we have prepared together with photographer Bartek Mika and illustrator Aleksandra Piasta. There we described the most beautiful places in the forest: we suggest trails, reserves, wild beaches and several monuments that you will see here.

Besides, there's really a lot to do here. Just so that no one overloads themselves, and only good things come from resting in the forest. We offer you:

– Evening bonfires – we have a specially prepared place where you can safely organize a bonfire, and the woodshed right next to it will provide you with access to dry wood (a grate, a cauldron and fire sticks are at your disposal)

- Terrace and summer kitchen - our forest cottage has a huge, 70-meter-long covered terrace, where you can not only spend a nice time, but also prepare meals in the summer in the summer kitchen equipped with a grill, and in the evening turn the terrace into a forest cinema room thanks to the screen and portable projector.

– Forest bathing, shinrin-yoku, i.e. the practice of mindfulness of being in the forest. If you are willing, we will organize a walk for you with Asia and Przemek from Mocy Lasu. They are both certified Forest Therapy Institute and Forest Therapy Hub guides.

– Horse riding – we will make an appointment for it with our friend Sylwia from the Wrzosowisko Stables. You can decide to take lessons for beginners or, taking advantage of the fact that the Łódź Horse Trail runs nearby (the longest trail in Europe for horse riding enthusiasts!), go on a trip along its route or traverse the entire forest in the saddle.

– Kayaks – here, Mrs. Ania's team from Suliszewo will take care of you. Her company organizes rafting trips along the meanders of Rawka. They can pick you up from Patoky and take you back.

– We have 2 bicycles for you that you can use free of charge. And it's worth it, because there are exceptionally beautiful bicycle trails around. Our cottage is located right next to two, but there are over 1,060 km of marked trails for two wheels throughout the region.

– Yoga – a trainer can come to your place and organize workshops for you. The thing about them is that they take place in a nearby clearing or in the forest, so it's a very relaxing experience. A nice option for groups.

– Massages – on site, in a forest hut in Patoky, we will massage you so that your stay will remain in your memory for a long time. Our offer includes several massages and relaxation treatments. Be sure to ask about our biggest hit of last summer - the Lomi Lomi massage! Massages are performed in the forest, on a covered terrace or inside a cottage - it all depends on your preferences and the weather!

– Candle and wax making workshops – this is a very nice option for trips with friends, but also, for example, for a family trip when you want to keep the kids busy. The workshops are conducted by Ola, from the Świece factory in Skierniewice. Waxes. Simply.

– Natural cosmetics making workshops – these workshops are also run by Ola, but from NaLi Natural, a factory in Żyrardów. You can use it to make soap, oil or body mist.

All workshops and activities that we organize in cooperation with our local friends are free of charge.

We invite all forest children to visit us. Pathoks are a great place to relax with your loved ones - because the forest is full of adventures and you can explore it endlessly. You can build huts, collect a unique collection of pine cones and sticks, and track fox tracks. And you definitely need to go to the Rawka Nature Reserve and try to spot a beaver there. More experienced little travelers can be taken on a kayak or on horses. In the house we have books and board games for children.

There is a wonderful forest monkey grove available for your little ones, a short distance from the house. Only for you - exclusively!
