We like to say we are renting a view, not a cottage. In Przysiółek Bigosy, on the slopes of the Pewel Range, for breakfast, lunch and dinner we serve the panorama of Babia Góra and the surrounding Beskid peaks. The view is unobstructed, unrestricted and the most complete - because almost the entire front wall of the house we built is made of windows. At 730 m above sea level, on family-bought land below the forest wall, we built a cabin where we spent many winters in waist-deep snow and many summers on the trail. There is no civilization in Bigosy (although those dreaming of working in the clouds, we would like to inform you that the internet is very nice here), no range of attractions and no hotel standard. There are: the sounds of a fox coming from the forest, sheep walking below our terrace and the autumn rut 200 m from here. And apart from that, space, silence, pastures and forests. Straight from home, he goes out on the trails, eats pancakes in Rudy Rydz for lunch, and eats sausages from the fire in the evening. It's simple. If you need simplicity in the Beskid edition, come.

Some time ago, under the influence of a previously unknown impulse, we came up with the idea of creating a small house in the mountains. Starting from the idea, through design, construction, ending with interior finishing, we created everything on our own in the company of our loved ones. The view and ubiquitous peace have always been the criteria for choosing the right place. Please check if we did it right :)

You can find the wood-smelling cottage in the Bigosy hamlet near the village of Pewel Wielka in the Żywiec Beskids. This is a house that we built ourselves from the foundations to the roof. The house is our beloved mountain refuge, but since we do not spend every free moment there, we invite you to admire the view in the Beskid solitude. The house, although it looks small from the outside, has: – 70 m², – 2 bedrooms for 2 people with a double bed, – living room with a fold-out sofa that can sleep another 2 people, a table and a fireplace, – well-equipped kitchenette connected to the living room, – high-speed internet with a place to work at the table or on the terrace, – bathroom with shower. If you come to us with 4 people, each couple will have their own bedroom. You can also sleep in 6 people, but then two of you will sleep on the fold-out sofa in the living room (but it's large, comfortable and with what a view to compensate!). Sometimes we say to ourselves that this house is better equipped than our family home. Here you will find items that facilitate mountain recreation, such as flashlights and thermos flasks. There is an aura of homely hospitality over everything. Our plot is not fenced, so we invite you here without pets. Sometimes the shepherd grazes the sheep, sometimes timid deer come here and we think that a holiday with pets is not a good idea in this place. Przysiółek Bigosy, 2 km outside the village, consists of a total of 10 houses, of which only 1 is permanently inhabited. The rest are summer houses. There is another holiday home approximately 30 m from our cottage and it may happen that the owners are vacationing there. Apart from the forest behind you, a stretch of grass below, a terrace and a place for a bonfire, you can relax here in simplicity and silence, with an emphasis on contemplating nature or going on trips to the surrounding mountain trails. NOTE: to reach us in winter, you will have to travel by car with a 4x4 drive, necessarily with chains. If you don't have one, we can also arrange to take you up the mountain, but you just have to let us know in advance that you need it.

We leave you with a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook comfortably. There will be a coffee machine at your disposal, and both coffee and tea are provided on site. In front of the house you will find a place for a bonfire, and you must know that such sausages with a view of the mountains always taste the tastiest. There will also be a cauldron waiting for you if you want to make some baked goods.

Those who love the mountains will definitely not be bored here. Chata z Kraja is a section for those who need contact with nature, for busy people who would like to stop. For couples, families or a group of friends who want to spend a few moments together with a minimum of stimuli. From the attractions on site, we have for you: – a place for a bonfire with prepared wood, – lying in the grass and staring at the clouds or reading a book, – board games for evening dinners, – sleds for winter sliding teleporting you to your childhood, – badminton rackets for outdoor skirmishes, – proximity to the autumn forest full of mushrooms, – warming up on a pouffe by the fireplace in autumn and winter evenings. But above all, don't forget to bring good shoes and Nordic walking sticks to us, because walking along the Beskid trails is the main entertainment here. · The red trail from the Krowiarki Pass to Babia Góra takes about 3 hours and abounds in spectacular views. A more demanding trail is Perć Akademików (closed in winter due to avalanche danger). · The trail to Hala Krupowa is a great proposition for a short and easy trip, and the Tatra Mountains can be seen from the shelter on the hall. · The green and yellow trails to Pilsko from Korbierlow create a pleasant loop with an optional stop at the shelter in Hala Miziowa. From the top there is a panorama of Babia Góra and the Tatra Mountains. · The route to Rysianka from Złatna Huta provides additional attractions, because it is said that in the shelter on Rysianka you can eat the most delicious blueberry rolls in the Żywiec Beskids. Babia Góra is of course the queen of this area. Around it, there is the Babiogórski National Park with 11 hiking trails with a total length of over 53 km, almost 34 km² of forests, meadows and streams, as well as 3 ski and bicycle trails. Beskid Żywiecki is a great place to practice mountain biking. The route Złatna Huta - Rysianka - Hala Lipowska - Zapolanka - Złatna Huta is called a classic and a must-see for MTB fans, · The loop starting in Juszczyna (you start in the center, there is a board with the route description) is 21 km long, leads mainly through the forest and has a few steep climbs, which makes it rather difficult, · The route to Hala Rycerzowa is 23.5 km long, and the biggest prize on it is the panorama of the Beskids and Mała Fatra from Mała Rycerzowa. Skiers are sent to the nearby ski slopes. In the area there are, for example, the Pilsko resort in Korbielów, Mosorny Groń or several ski lifts in Zawoja and Zwardoń. And you can also choose from us, among others: – to Lake Żywieckie, – to the Żywiec Brewery, the Old Castle in Żywiec and the Żywiec Museum, – to the Żywiec Ethnographic Park, – to Mount Żar for an injection of adrenaline – paragliding flight with a pilot in tandem, – to the Mosorczyk Waterfall in Zawoja or the waterfall in Sopotnia Wielka.

We have everything and nothing for kids here. Everything, because nature is at your fingertips: you can organize a competition to see who will pick more mushrooms in the fall or count more roe deer approaching the house. There is space around, where you can run as hard as you can, roll downhill, and in winter go sledding as if there was no tomorrow. But we do not have special children's attractions here and NOTE: really steep stairs lead to the first floor of the house.

Będzie nam miło gościć Was ponownie!

W domku panował porządek, zastaliśmy go niemalże w takim stanie, w jakim go przekazaliśmy. Serdecznie pozdrawiamy,
